Got a full blown cold. Gotta do my best to not pass it on to mom since she has surgery coming up and the last thing she needs is an illness beforehand. Basically still not done much of anything around here. Heck been infront of the computer most of this afternoon and not done anything at all except change my avatar here on subeta and read my twitter feed about the bombing in Manchester yesterday.

So sorry about your dad having a set back in his recovery. Hope he's feeling better and his back gets to healing. Make sure to take some time to take care of yourself too while taking care of him. I know it's hard to do sometimes. hugs

We've gotten a ton of cleaning done around the house and on Thursday we will be going down to the animal shelter to help put together dog beds that were donated ^_^ So far summer break has been busy but fun! had a friend over today and we just played video games for awhile xD

I hope I will be around to chat more for sure. I can feel the school year starting to wind down, which is both stressful, but also reminding me to kind of chill out. :) Just as I have returned I am going away for a small getaway. We've got Thursday and Friday off this week and we've found a cheap flight to Brussels + Airbnb so we are getting away for a bit. I hope a change of scenery will work some wonders. :D

I hope you feel better too! Colds can really run you down! The changed avatar is very cool. It reminds me of supermodel/superhero. :)

What video games did you play? I did that a few weeks ago and it was really fun just playing games and not worrying about doing anything else. I've been playing a lot of Zelda on the Switch, but I'm taking a bit of a break from it for a few weeks to save some for later and because I've got a little extra work to take on at the moment.

I hope you enjoy your small getaway! it sounds like fun, and a change of scenery always seems to help with stresses c: We played some Tomb Raider, Dishonored and For Honor. Mostly just little pieces of the games so we didn't ruin the plots for each other x) Did play a lot of Abzu, though. I love that game. I know it was made by a different company, but it really made me think of an underwater version of Journey, which I also loved, lol. I don't have a switch. Do you like it?

Yeah, so my dad was admitted to the hospital with an infection, bad bad one. Spent all day in the ER room with him while they were doing test and getting him a room upstairs. It got scary when the antibiotics kicked in and he kind of went into a shakey shock thing in the ER, but they are there to take care of him now. Thank you all for the prayers and support.

Cold still being mean. All in my chest and it hurts when I cough. Been mostly just hanging out infront of the tv. Didn't even get on the computer yesterday.

I'm sorry to hear your dad had such a big set back. Hopefully they are getting the infection under control in the hospital and he will be healing and home soon! hugsyatight

My Mom wasn't involved with this funeral. Earlier this year a great Uncle of mine did pass away. I never met him but he seemed like a very funny and good guy according to those that knew him. That funeral she invited me to.

Morning to all. Sitting here waiting on home health to come change my dressing. I have a super headache because I'm stressed over the waiting lol.

My dad might have had a bit of a setback. He seemed better last night than today and his back is killing him. I think they just need to find the right mix. I am pretty sure he won't be coming home tomorrow.

My turn for a trip to the ER. I have bronchitis and some sinus infections. Have a short bit of antibiotic to take, I have a prescription nasal spray and an inhaler. Hopefully I will start to feel better in the next week. I can deal with the sinus stuff but I really want the coughing to stop - it hurts too much. No sleep last night at all.

Sorry your dad isn't coming home yet but glad it happened in the hospital this time and they can keep working to get everything just right for him.
