and Love most of the TV shows you mentioned and have not read the corresponding books. Had to give up most reading because of the migraines. I miss Warehouse 13 and the rest and never understood why they cancelled it and so many others, like Moonlight. Really like Shadowhunters, Dark Matter, Vikings, The Strain - among many others - and am waiting impatiently for the next season.

And when I went to visit the profile I found a flower I still need for Maxi's TC so Zinnia was good luck for Maxi! ❤ Our high today is supposed to be 93 which is ridiculously hot for here. If we were on the island it would be about 10 degrees lower. The humidity and dew point are low though so it still doesn't feel as hot as if it were July/August and humid. Still, except for taking mom to the library for something to read and picking up pizza for dinner we did not stay out much today and we won't go anywhere tomorrow. Our storms are supposed to come tomorrow afternoon or evening.

Oooooh yes! The Strain is good. I'll probably go catch up on the tv series this summer, I am still in season 1. I did read the books they were really good. I always love a different take on known creature stories and I love post apocalyptic stuff - how the disaster affects people. Congratz on the Pet Spotlight win!! :)

I get most of my books from the library. I have one tall bookshelf, one short and longer, and I am spilling over into another room's bookcase.

I get quite a few books from kindle "free" with the prime service.

Currently reading many comic books from marvel, dc, and others at one a day in print. Smithsonian magazine from October last year. Midnight Curse by Melissa F Olson on the Kindle. The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith in hardback. Lapham's Quarterly in paperback. Stopped in the middle of The Opal Deception by Eoin Colfer in audio because my ears started hurting more than my eyes.

Spent some time reading outside today lying on a blanket under the tree. Was nice. Read two chapters. Made a bouquet without having to raid my collection.

Work has me wiped out, I started this job almost 2 months ago and it has gotten a little better. However, this week I had to come in early a few times and work unpaid overtime including on my bday. I'm grateful that I have Friday and Saturday off to relax. Hoping to sleep in and catch up on some shows! I'm so behind on them and some books, still need to read the new volumes of Magnus Chase and Trials of Apollo.

went to wound care yesterday and they didn't "pack" it again so that helped stop some of the burning.

Severe Storms and Tornados went through our area last night. More on the way today. So if anyone watches Blacklist, would you please tell me what happened? Yep the satellite went out so I had to miss the seasons finale. sigh.
off to doc with hubby this time, so all you stay safe.

It was 93 again here yesterday even this close to the water. Mom and I did exactly nothing yesterday. Watched tv, played on the computer or tablet and that's it. May or may not get some cleaning done today, but I've got a scratchy throat (started last night) and mom didn't sleep much so it's not looking good for cleaning. lol Going out to breakfast at one of the diners tomorrow and then maybe a tiny bit of touristing locally, plus have to stop at a grocery store for stuff we need. Mom is making me steak for dinner which will be a nice treat!

Yeah, I wish there was a better way. Like maybe if someone is on your buddy list you could get an event the day before or day of a friend's birthday saying it's their birthday (if they allow it, some people don't like to show their birthdays).

Lovely day here before the upcoming 4 days of clouds and rain. Had breakfast out like I said we would, stopped at a grocery store for some stuff (most important is the cheesecake slices for dessert ;) ) and went to a couple shops and then came home. Even so we were out from 8am until 2pm-ish.

Thank you for the birthday wishes. Not really celebrating today. Am getting cheesecake :D and mom bought me a cute lime green and white polka dot eye glass case while we were out.

Hi everyone! It's been way too long since I last checked in. I've been extremely busy, but with good things so I can't complain too much. How has everyone been? How did everyone enjoy Vesnali. I kind of wish that the wedding had been announced so I would have known to be online/tried to be online, but it was a cute event anyways. I'm not sure I've played a site where two site characters got married before. :)

I'm so glad I didn't miss it lol


I've always been the care giver in my family and now I need the help and hubby is doing a great job so far. I'm so impressed with him lol. but God gets all the glory.

nice to see you again and such as cute HA. Neopets had a marriage I think of the desert prince and the street thief or something, but other than that me neither and this one was much sweeter. Yeah a time for the wedding might have been nice I happened to be on.

My dad got worse and we needed EMT to help get him off the floor when he gave out getting out of a chair and now he is in bed hopefully healing. I was really worried because he was so exhausted, but he seems better now that he is in bed and ate food. I really hope he is better tomorrow because I am falling apart. I didn't get enough sleep which makes my aches and head worse and so I am getting really weak and hurting. I feel badly that I can't do more, but I can't and he gets it.

I didn't know that about Neo. I have to admit I kind of gave up on that site. I really really loved their plots, but they kind of stopped doing them and then there wasn't much interesting me there anymore. They do the altador cup, which is okay, but you have to play so many games that I honestly get tired of it pretty fast and it's the same every year. :) Anyways...enough about Neo. :) The transcript was really good enough, but it would have been cool to pop in. I'm imagining with the time difference I was probably asleep anyways or would have been even if I had known the time so I can't complain really. Thanks about the HA. I really love the fruit dresses from the vesnali shop. The only downside is they are too cute to really cover up so I've gone pretty simple to show off the apple dress. :)
