I got a few neat things from the quest a thon too. I wished I could have done more, but I was using my phone to quest and after completing a few I started getting the grumps. :) I'm glad to hear that you're healing and your dad is healing too. I wish it were easier to meet with doctors on the weekends. And thanks! I'm going to make it! I've knocked out a good junk of rubric writing and grading so far and am just in for a bit of a break now. :)

I'm going to do some more maintenance things around work. :) I've got to update the facebook page, which is more annoying than I expected, but the kids have been writing all of the updates so that helps. I've got a few more things to grade too. We're finishing up the last unit so now i'm a bit stressed about the kids actually getting things turned in on time so I can have their grades in. I can imagine it's going to be a fun last few weeks of hunt the kid down moments.

I also included two of the pictures we were talking about last week. The seek and find ones just in case you're still interested. :) They want me to take out some of the textures and make some small changes still, but nothing major will change.

my youngest grandson has been tested for dwarfism and thyroid problems. He is only 7 years old but he looks like he's 5 in stature. Bless his heart.

Taking my parakeets to the vet today for a checkup. Also to make sure Loki (eldest ATM) is healthy and see why Lemon is so nervous all the time.

Doc appts went well. Mom will know how the pre-op tests went tomorrow or Thursday to know if she's good to go for her surgery. I have an inflammation of the cartilage of my ribs 'caused from all the coughing I did due to the bronchitis. Since I can't very well do nothing (dr said it would get better eventually on it's own if I did nothing) he gave me some meds that will hopefully take down the inflammation so I stop hurting and can be in decent shape to help mom when she gets home after surgery. fingers crossed

Lemon is the one with the serious issue, though. She's been so nervous that she's plucking herself to the point she has an infection. I'm now having to medicate her once a day and not putting her in contact with the other birds. This may also make it so I can't visit revs for the bbq this weekend.

It may be that Lemon can eventually be with her friends again (maybe not sleep in the same cage but for sure it seems able to fly around together. There's also the possibility that she'll need to be given birdy Prozac to control her nerves.

Worried about her as birds can get so afraid they die but that probably won't happen but arg >.<

Oh no! I was trying to fix it now, but it's not working and I can't figure out why. I might have to try again at home on my own computer and see if I have better luck. Sometimes technology is not my friend!

back to the grit and grind today. got some rest though and it was great.

nice new pet. I have trouble taking care of my ten pets so I am just staying with those. Your son was so nice to do that for you.

my Loki is also looking fatter and is getting called chubby but I think it is just he is fluffy and fully adult now. Hope Lemon equalizes and stops the nervous grooming.

Dad is still in the rehab and having trouble again. He has multiple things wrong with him so it is hard to get the treatment right. My leg is still healing, but much better. Going to the traveling Broadway show of Phantom of the Opera tonight and I am excited. Mom and dmy are going with me. :)

I kind of hate Facebook and had it deleted for a while, but now I just stay away from it. The school kids have to make updates for our school Facebook page though so since I head the media group I've been tasked with putting up all of their updates. I wish they could just do it themselves, but if one of them had the password, the entire school would know it within a week. :)

I think I need to find a different place to host my photos. I've always used Photobucket, but it was giving me problems since I've been trying to use it. I'm not sure what the issue is either since they show up there, but as soon as I want to share it, it's broken. I'm going to do some googling and see if I can find an alternative.

In annoying news, we had a big storm on Tuesday and my internet at home has been broken. For the most part, the phone is doing the job, but I have some bigger files I need to send and I can't with my phone's connection. They said they'll fix it on Friday so I hope they are serious because I think the weekend is the longest I can wait to get things in on time without people getting grumpy at me. Worst case, I'll have to find a friend who will let me connect to their internet or a place with some free wifi, which is harder than it should be in Austria...it's not the land of free wifi, but it's getting better. Anyways, enough internet complaining from me. :)

UPDATE: I've made a flickr. I had one, but apparently I have a new one now. Lol. Here's the /">link. If it's something you guys want to see more of I can always add more or change them out. I just thought two was a good start.

<3 hi lady :) ..i'm hangin in there is about all i can say lol started having the 'blue screen of death' again so that's always fun, but it severely limits me on here :/ .been busy with billy (the ex-bf that stayed with me after his heart attack a few yrs back) anyway he had a pretty bad accident in his truck. laid it over on its side, but he was pretty lucky with only minor damage to himself..so he's now fighting for workman comp and applied for disability as well, which they told him could be a few yrs before being approved ..anyway he's out of money almost and has real bad anxiety + depression stuff going on esp. after being a trucker for 41 yrs and always on the move etc. (besides the fact that men are such babies when things go wrong and esp. when they are sick lol) but yeah, looks like i may have a roomie again ..really not feeling it's the right way to go right now with the free resources (free clinic, free oxygen, free meds, etc) he does have down there, well besides not being able to pay rent soon ..but we'll see i guess ...seen mom today and she's doing really well, put on a lot of weight to, hard to believe a year ago she was in the hospice house for over a month knocking on deaths door :/ ...hope you've been doing ok still❤️

Meds not working yet but I only took my 2nd dose this morning. Hopefully it starts not hurting or at least hurting less soon.

Poor Lemon (great name btw). Hope you can get her meds in her so she gets better soon. I love birds but I don't think I'd ever own one. I mades friends with an african gray ages ago when I was in the Florida Keys on vacay with my family. The motel we stayed at had some recued animals and one was a gray that had issues and plucked his feathers. He was the sweetest thing. I hung out with him every morning we were there.

Love your new pet. And yes you're the only one. lol I'm sure I'll fill my pet slots eventually. Too lazy/cheap to get them real profiles (have to pay 'cause I can't code/draw/write) though I think it's more that I hate trying to find people in the forums and then trying to slot for stuff. But I like finding names I like and matching pets to them. Waiting for a name to come up for grabs in the next couple weeks and hopefully I can grab it an fill another slot.

Gosh, your poor dad. Must be so frustrating for him especially. I do hope they get it figured for all of y'all. hugs How was the show?

The play was wonderful and amazing and so great. Jumped clean out of my seat a few times with the fake shots and fireworks. So good and the music and singing... oh wow. Chills multiple times. Tears a few times. The applause and cheers for the phantom actor during the bows was louder than the fireworks. Great crowd.

Did a stupid. Was trying to make it to level 100 in item hunt and got to level 99 and forgot to check my sP and well I needed 26million for the last item and I had spent my banked 220million already and my shop till and poof time is up and no one bought the csc I put underpriced in my shop for that half an hour so 220million gone and I didn't make it. cries bitter tears Going to have to save up again.

Rib not feeling better. Will be happy to be done with the meds since I don't feel like they are helping (can't just stop taking them, have to take fewer each day until gone) and I'm having some side effects from them anyway.

Mom's surgery (hip replacement) is tomorrow morning. Have to be there at 5:45am I'll be waiting by myself. Kinda sucks. Hope she does okay. She really waited too too long to do this. She's to the point the last few days where her pain meds aren't really helping at all.

If you ever get there again in IH and I'm around just ask for the funds and I can lend them to you, no problem. Goes for pretty much all y'all. If I have it I can lend it or give it to you. ❤
