I just went out shopping to my "Stitch Places", aka all the places that generally have Stitch collectibles and spent WAY too much. I think I'm cut off now. XD

- Oh I'll be on a lot more once the holidays are over! I'm dropping down to just a half-time course load in classes (only need 2 for right now). I am picking up some longer babysitting hours, but honestly I'm looking forward to the money, so all is good. :D

I haven't been fragging my fairies b/c I'm still a ways off from the releasing the fairies achievement. I've got a ton of ornament boxes and it's just way easier to open them then it is to release a single fairy every page, especially w/ the lag lately.

You go, gurrl. :P I'm glad you'll be around. I'm definitely going to make a more concerted effort to do so - especially since I need to start questing again to get my funds back up. (Questing just gets on my last nerves so I utterly despise doing it to make sP, lol)

It was 7 degrees this morning, and sooo chilly in my house. The past 2 mornings my nose has ran incessantly and and sneezing galore. (honestly, this happens in the spring, too) It eventually goes away but man there's nothing like sitting there and just having your nose drip constantly while it slowly builds up congestion.

my head feels like its going to explode. ugh

Yes! Even with backup, it was really tough. But we started things badly, that's maybe why the kids didn't have any discipline and all.

I am so sorry to hear that. May I offer a piece of advice? A recipe someone gave me last time I got sick, which was last month. It's a piece of ginger, the size of a thumb, in a blender with a shallow spoon of turmeric and half a cup of water. After blending and sieving the result to a glass, you mix it with the juice of one lemon and also a spoon of honey. Then drink it like a shot. I repeated it for a week and I was very surprised how strong this recipe is. The ginger and turmeric are very potent and may help you through your cold. Hope you get well soon!

Oh boy it's been a loooong day! We got home about a half an hour ago and now it's time to relax with some hot tea! It took us 14 hours to make the drive (with stops for food and stretching of course). I certainly enjoyed seeing everyone, but I'm glad we aren't doing it again anytime soon. It's way too long of a drive with a few major cities, which aren't fun to drive through.

- I'm going to be making a bigger effort now, because I've realized I've gotten kinda lazy with posting and the such and I really miss keeping up with everyone! I feel you on that questing! I'm officially broke, so questing is absolutely necessary!

It's just that we started as three teachers, because the third would be gone in a month. She lead the class and didn't state any rules from the beginning, and the children would slowly treat our class like a break, where they could play and scream and pay no attention to us. But her month with us flew by and they just started becoming unruly after she left and the weather got warmer. Then there's also the fact that the supervising teacher (that really works at the school) would undo and unsay what we said, or shout with the children at the same time I was trying to talk with them so of course we had no respect from both parties. Between the younger girls who just come once a week and the older teacher that they see more often, who would they end up seeing as the authoritative figure in class when things are such a mess? And this supervising teacher would never pay attention to what we were actually doing or trying to do in class and stepped up whenever she felt like it because she was distracted/busy doing whatever in the back. When she also randomly left the classroom, they would become more unruly, because she was the one treated as the one to be respected or feared.

I hope everyone had a really nice holiday! Things got really hectic here so I've not been on much. My brother had a seizure on Christmas and he's been in the hospital ever since. We think he might get out today.

Good afternoon KSrs

Yesterday we went out to run some errands and bring in some groceries for the long weekend. They were calling for a couple inches of snow. It started snowing about 15 minutes after we got home. Woke up to 4 inches of snow instead. Was going to have a movie day today but after I finish my lunch I'll have to head out to shovel and clean the car and make sure it's starts up and runs. Our overnight lows are in the single digits or negative digits for at least the next 7 days and it's going to be hard on the car. And the people.

Cold still dragging on. It seems better though. Nighttime and early morning of course are the worst. Ny nose is still sore. Hope everyone with a cold or a flu is feeling better soon!

Snow was light and fluffy thankfully. I did the driveway, mom's car and the sidewalk. Left my brother's car and the bottom of the driveway to the street for my brother. Took me an hour and a half. If it had been wet I'd have maybe done half and had to stop. Still, I'm going to hurt later.

Good for you doing all of them yesterday! I tried to get to half. I did grab a new years token from the free shop just now though. lol
