Harder to pass of bad grapes or poisoned grapes as "not knowing what I was doing", so unless it's a really good poison and they are foolish enough to actually y'know, trust me, the foot massage. There's lots of accidentally on purpose tender spots on a foot and if they're too trusting I can make it impossible to walk in sandals ever again. -----====-----

I dunno is it a planet-sized ship? In the 18th century many sanitation things were possible, people just didn't do them..hmmm. I guess I'd choose the place where there'd be somewhere to run if you had to, so 18th centuyr. I'd still be stuck with sucktastic humans, but not always the same ones.
