I have a solution, I think.

Make those items as a new item, add "replica of" to the name and make it that you have only "move to" wardrobe or minion zoo option.

Or make the wardrobe been able to redeem clothes and not only wigs, and then when you buy those wears, they automatically redeemed to the wardrobe.

I am still not interested in those "bound items" at all. But again, I am not interested in plushies/beanbags/stickers collection so I guess it's a minority.

I can't imagine how much they will cost - but probably better than the current market.

Are you guys going to do the same for wearable? Because even if you do launch a "magical collection", it doesn't help the junk flooding around.

sorry to derail but re: the hustler: I have not seen a lot of the things suggested in the previous suggestion rounds come up at all, and I follow the thread closely. Is it so often that the items go unpinged? we keep getting delish stuff from some very specific sets, a couple of books and plushies show up a lot... idk.

Also, I hadn't thought of item hunt and stuff for re-releases, that's a good point. I hope to see even the collection items re-released in a more useful way in the future, too!

For weapons...send them straight to the armory, and make them non-removable? It'd give more incentive to keep a PIN up for that area.

Is there a way to tie the itemID to a user account's ID?

I don't like any kind of locked/account-bound solution for future releases. I don't have anything specific to suggest that hasn't already been mentioned, but there has to be a better option for releasing these items that will still let us do what we want with them. :/

For the current announcement—I'll be glad to get access to the books (and possibly the food) for my pets, even if I'd like some of them for TCs as well.

Okay, I have not sifted through all the pages of posts yet so I might be saying something someone else has suggested, but my suggestion that might work for all items (including foods and other collection items) is to allow us to have a gallery that is locked. Once we put an item in that one gallery, we cannot remove it again. Like a collection, but not quite. But we'd need to be able to move things around within it, categorize them, etc.

Then, the new shop would just need to give specific options: "add this item to locked gallery", "feed this item to active pet", etc.

And for wardrobe items, Keith could make a section (like a locked drawer) of the wardrobe to add it to directly from the shop and that would be one of the options for any clothing items. Just if you wanted the clothing for both a gallery and the wardrobe you'd have to buy two and tell it where to put each item the same way we'd do with food or plushies if he can do locked galleries to let us put those items there as well as feeding them or adding them to other collections.

I hope this makes sense (and that I didn't duplicate someone else's suggestion). I haven't slept much. Sick kitty that I have to take to the vet in half an hour when they open, heh.

(pinging 'cause suggestions?)

I had a feeling this is what would happen with these items. Sadly, I needed stuff for TCs though so can't say this is going to do anything for me but at least it'll help collections which is definitely a good thing.

But looks like TCs will get shafted overall though unless staff were inclined to make a "Treasure Chest Vault" with account locked items that could be sent from the vault to a TC or visa versa but otherwise would be tied to not only your account but the TCVault itself.

The same thing could easily be done for minions too-- maybe a formal minion collection that you can't remove things from BUT you could send them to battle from there OR attach them to your pet. And if you remove them from a pet they'd just go back to the minion collection.

(ps: sorry if this sounds whiny, while i am baw because of TCs I had to get up at 4am to run to the airport before work so I'm kinda loopy)

I'm not big on collections, so this doesn't effect me much, but I do like the idea of some of the rarer clothing and other such items being made available. Would it be hard to simply lock these items into the wardrobe and not have them able to be removed? OR simply make them untradable like the loyalty boxes. Or perhaps untradeable for X-amount of time, but I think fully untradable would be fine.

I really can't understand all the concern over these items losing value. Restock War Points are fake currency and sP is fake currency. Meanwhile, there are Cash Shop items worth less than the sP cost of the CSC involved.

Just put this stuff in the MC for a very high price and let people do what they want with the items.

Why does editing always keep duplicating my post? But editing again eats the edit, while keeping the old version? If I look at the Preview, though, I only see the edit.

Just to clear it up: while some items do need to be deflated/attainable, the main point of this is really to help people complete collections. Right now it&;s almost impossible, to the point where people don&;t bother. Yes, the sP sink is great, yes, maybe helping deflate the items on site a bit is great, but this is specifically to help with collections :)
As a matter of fact, this is not going to help me personally in the slightest, because the only unaffordable/unavailable books I seek are the ones from the referral shop.(Almost nobody can refer that many people. At least I am not among people, who would play a game like Subeta.) But they in spite of being out of reach theoratically are still in rotation

Every Book I missed out the 4 years before joining I bought by trading in an arm and a leg.

My understanding from past posts by Keith is that there&;s a strong desire to maintain things like event items and retired items as "special" and something users who missed out on getting at the time are not "entitled" to get. It seems to me like the ability to purchase these special items, without any limit on the number being introduced, even if just for collections, takes away much of the specialness of having had to have been there. By releasing these items in small stacks over time, that specialness can be preserved while still giving everyone a shot at enjoying some of the wonderful items that were released long ago :)
I feel the same way. This means, I never have to put any effort into events any more, because I cannot miss out on anything anymore anyway. I just need to concentrate on making sP because I can buy everything with sp even without pressure and fearing that there will no seller be available later on.

Re suggestions to re-name items, then they still wouldn't be the actual items. At least I still didn't feel like having the complete collection... But giving them a new item number might actually help solve the "not removable from account" problem?

And of course there are still the old superrare weapons, which seem sort of never included in any revival.

Why not make just them...expensive? They are antiques, after all :P Then it'll be pretty hard for the market to flood, and you can have them be items in your inventory. Buying an item directly into my collection just doesn't feel that satisfying.

Unless there's some big point I'm missing.

I was happy until I read it would forcibly be put in a collection. Fuck pet TCs right? I didn't want an island themed pet anyway haha.... :')

edit: alright so I finally finished reading through all the pages, I'm less angry now that I see that staff wants to figure out an idea in regards to putting in the TCs. I only read the first post and it literally read something like "only focus on collections blah blah, wardrobe some day also minions" to me. It said nothing about TCs so I was like what?!?!? no!!!

While I understand that people would love that kind of stuff in their TCs or galleries, I think it is enough to provide them in order to finish collections. That's a real goal and achievement/trophy related (for those, who care). So being able to finish a collection is a need, whereas getting those items for sheer presentation is a luxury.

Pfft alright. and wanting to finish pet TCs isn't a real goal. okay. I personally do not care about collections and thus will not be using this "sp sink". Make it so I can buy items for TCs and I'll spend millions.

I hope they put other retired items in this shop. I've been trying to get a Baked Sweet Potato Beanbag for a while now. It was released in 2012 for Fireside but I haven't seen it restock during Fireside the last two years. :C

I think as a way to implement it in the wardrobe, we could have a separate section for "permanent" wardrobe items. Or in the wardrobe itself, you could but like a red border around the item (not the wearable portion obviously) to signify that it is a permanent fixture and cannot be removed.

For minions it could be implemented as part of that minion battling feature. Have a separate section for display to the public. You could call it a "training room" or something. I think those should still be able to be used for battling.

Part of me is sad because I would love these items for my hoard. BUT THE OTHER PART IS LIKE "ALL THE THINGS ALL THE THINGS"

Hopefully there's nothing in there I want for my gallery, because my gallery is my precious baby, and unlike my hoard, I'm not ever selling it off ever never ever.

Only saw this because it was right above mine but fuck to the no. The original use of minions is A PET FOR YOUR PET. Also what a great fuck you to people who have minion galleries.

, rather than locking items for the wearables, minions and TC fodder is there a way to just take out all of the clickable options to do anything with them other than "move to wardrobe", "give to pet" or "place in so-and-so's TC"? You would also have to block the items from showing up in quick stock (maybe give the items a special rarity that wont allow them into shops?).
