This is a great idea! It's awesome that you're soliciting feedback to help tweak the shop in a way that will make most users happy :)
I wasn't sure after reading the announcement: will buying books in the shop also increase intelligence?

also just read what said
SO CAN YOU JUST HAVE THEM TIED TO THE ACCOUNT ONLY? (like loyalty boxes)
Either ya keep it or ya delete it. Problem solved.
I don't like this "Only for collection thing" because some of us have like, galleries and TCs and stuff that we put things in... and yea... can we do that instead? Please?
I think this was shot down multiple times already because loyalty boxes are an unmovable item that just sits in the inventory, and if any other item was marked as unmovable it would do the same - sit in the inventory being unable to be put anywhere. So this wouldn't really solve the problem of putting in a gallery or TC.
I look forward to this and getting some much needed collection items.
I really just want the wearables and then some other items for TC. I really like the suggestion to make them account specific items so that it could go into collections/weapons/tc/etc.
I dont think the Loyalty boxes are "technically" tied to the account. It's just the way it's coded that restricts you from moving it around (eg not having any other options other than to use or delete). With things like books or beanbags or whatever, adding options to move it around might make things complicated.
Aka, there might be a lot of checks required or abuses that may exist. IE. if i can ONLY move it X gallery (set by some code), what if i choose the delete option and move it another shop then sell it? OR if i can move it TC, can i sell the item via giving the pet away? etc etc.
Assigning unique identifiers to every item given out then tying it to a specific account seems like it would be complicated/straining on data (if not, i think this is a good idea and might help out with weapons battling wise).
Let's say, after purchasing one of these old items--a plushie--you're presented with the following options: Add to plushie collection, add to PETNAME's TC, add to PETNAME2's TC, etc., add to gallery, move to vault. That should, in theory, be relatively easy. As for being able to move said items around...eh.
I like Sincerity's idea of creating another Rarity category. If r250 or r300 aren't being used for anything, that's a possible idea to consider.
The next best solution for a lot of the other types of items (wearables, weapons, etc.), perhaps it would be easiest to simply retire them. Creating new, but similarly statted weapons is the least problematic solution. For wearables....make it like the cruise wigs, redeemable for a price.

Was excited at first but the fact that the items are for collections only totally killed that feeling for me. I'm a diehard Pet / Treasure Chest person and I have no issue with spending millions for a singe TC item but for collections - no, I'm waiting for a better solution before any sP leaves my account. :)
Awesome idea. I'd given up on getting a lot of the books and plushies from old events.
This sounds like Keith has found a solution to getting rid of US hoarders and gallery fanatics ...... I love my (pets and more) gallery and would love some of those items to complete that but obviously that is not what Subeta wants us to do. It sounds to me like Subeta is taking OUR choice as to what to do with an item and dictating where to put such an item!!!! The best thing about Subeta for me has always been that I can keep, sell or trade anything and everything this is certainly going to change our shops also!!! I do not like this one little bit!
I don't like to complain unless I am willing/able to come up with a solution so I have been sitting here thinking about this and have come up with:
If you want to make it easier for people to get past items just put them in the Crystal Shop or the Recycling Shop that way users have to work to get the item still spending a great deal of sp to fragment or recycle items. Just putting a price tag on them is only beneficial to the rich! Working towards getting an item is half the fun of owning it. Everyone can make crystals or turn items in to the recycle beast. Easy P easy! Lemon S queasy!
Well they'd literally have to get their coding shit together and make sure it could be a display only item.
New category? That'd be cool.
Lol, knew something like this was coming. Just spent 100 million a few days ago on the BHH Trading Card, Special Edition Spectrail Trading Card, and a several other smaller cards. Oh, well, if I didn't, nothing like this would have happened and I would have never seen those cards again. That's always my luck.
As for clothes, that's the one I can't wait to see. But I'm not sure how this could work... I just woke up, so I'll think on it and post if I can come up with any sort of ideas.
I'm not sure if this has been suggested, but is there any way to make it so an account can buy only 1 of a specific item per their account, or impose some sort of limit per account, maybe no more than 2? I'm not sure how much of a coding nightmare this would be if it's even possible.
I like this idea. I can finally get old retired items that I wasn't around for.
Hmm.. with clothes and other stuff-- well aside from a set limit, would it be possible to 'lock' items to people's accounts? Like-- these items are 'locked' and cannot be traded or sold type thing.
OH, I've been wanting to get my hands on some of these for pretty much ever. Of course, I'm dying for some of the clothes and books. But I collect those in a gallery so I'm not sure how to go about that if these are meant to go straight into a collection.
I think something like the SBQ invite one + SP might be helpful. Or maybe if they rotated in something like the Millionaire Center does. So that they are able to be purchased...just once a year.
Of course, I loved the Island stuff. Maybe make them available just during a certain week, like the Pirate stuff?
ALSO DOES THAT MEAN WE CAN STICK OURSELVES WITH THE STICKERS BASICALLY? BECAUSE WE SHOULD LEARN FROM THIS AND DO IT FORVER
This is going to be awesome! Will finally be able to get more plushies and beanbags! WOO!

I'm not sure how I feel about this, just because y'all tried to do this with a wearable idea and it got rather violently shot down so you'd assume the other kinds of collectors wouldn't shoot it down??? Idk people use these items for more than just collections so I find it a little sad.
As for wears, I like what someone said about doing a SubQ invite type of store. There are a ton of collection wears on site and if you put them all in a rotation they'd still be super rare kind of like when Hustler has them, so you'd have us stalking that shop to see things we might need. As long as they don't go in our wardrobe and stay there because I am not about that life lol
I think this is just fine, I pay very little attention to treasure chests and my gallery simply consists of single items that I get from events that are not books, edible, wearable, plushies or beanbags... so works for me.
My one question is when it comes to food being directly fed to the active pet... will this override hunger or would it just void the transaction? Same goes for books, if already read, is the transaction void?
They've already stated that you will be able to stick yourself.
