I'm a treasure fanatic, we totally need to figure out a non-collection solution. HALP!
Yeah, for food and books it will go directly to your active pet. If you need to feed more than one pet, for example, you could change it between purchased.
As mentioned, this is only for collection items right now. We're hoping to find a solution for other items. This shop will not produce items that are able to be moved at all. You can remove items from treasure and your armory, for example, so those aren't places we can insert items directly.
There isn't currently a way to do that. Loyalty boxes work like that because that item doesn't move for ANYONE. If I marked an existing plushie as immovable, no one would be able to move it, not just new ones.
I've asked Keith about that and coding-wise it's pretty difficult from what I understand. That's not my area so I don't really know how to explain that!
Sorry, I missed your sticker question--yes you will be able to stick yourself! How dirty :P
Then help us brainstorm a great way to make that happen! That's what I'm after myself, personally.
Right now we are focusing on helping people finish collections. When we figure out a way to get minions/clothing out, we'll also be including these items for TC purposes :D
Retired holiday items for holidays we still do (fireside, morostide, etc) won't be added to this. They will come back during their holiday, similar to what we did with MOrostide this past year! This is purely for old plot/event prizes. :)
I have them added to a list so they come back this year <3
This isn't a part of the Millionaire Center, so no.
@blackwolf_2009 If we find a way it would definitely need to be limited. We're trying to find a way to balance keeping the items still special and rare, but not completely unobtainable. Just having them in a token shop kind of way doesn't seem super fair because it would be so limited, but open market (even with a timer) in the MC could completely deflate them.
From what I understand the locked item feature really isn't feasible for most of the site. I think it's possibly something that could work for the wardrobe (a la unlocked hair), but don't quote me on that, just quote Keith like you did :P
Yeah, something like that sounds great in theory! I'm just not sure how complex the coding would be. Hmmm.
Keep em coming!
@blackwolf_2009 I mentioned it a page or so ago, but the loyalty boxes are not able to be moved from the inventory. Every single item is like that. It isn't just yours that doesn't move, it's all of them! If I marked a certain minion as immovable right now, no one would be able to move it! It isn't coded the way it might appear. :)
Just to clear it up: while some items do need to be deflated/attainable, the main point of this is really to help people complete collections. Right now it's almost impossible, to the point where people don't bother. Yes, the sP sink is great, yes, maybe helping deflate the items on site a bit is great, but this is specifically to help with collections :)
The good thing about that would be the ability to just put items that really are nonexistent in there and monitor their value, really what we already do there! Something to consider. I like the sP option, akin to the recycling center.
We are coming up for ideas that involve those items too ;)
I'm going to add more stock this week, he's totally getting lame again! I'll ping the group when I'm doing it and ask for suggestions if you're after certain things, as per usual! :)
Nope, I have a different idea for them! Though Ariel is going to be adding some more to the Hustler for now!
Feel free to suggest those types of things on the suggestion forum, I'm all about it. I'm working on a better way of finding old expensive DP/MC items. The majority of the DPs are actually pretty cheap. It's the MCs that need some screen time!
