2. How often? quite rare. when i'm bored or major drill ask me.

 3. At which machines? OD. to have a chance on riptide.

please don't remove it. vending is a good part of subeta. it gives reason for people to buy GA to use autopricer. maybe put time limit between each vend. shop buy has 5 sec, maybe put a reasonable one for vending too. or 5 minutes machine break after 30 consecutive vend. right now, it is too easy. widen the item poll. i usually get the same set of items, which are mostly unprofitable junk. don't release vending exclusive item too often.

i like more BHH and token shop restock. i don't like gambling.

My long winded vending habits I try to vend every day, but I'm one of those players that gets distracted and spends more time talking on forums or playing in the wardrobe than getting daily goals done.
When I do vend it's usually Dragons hoard because yay wardrobe, Oceans Depths for it's shinies, or grave digger in search of that snow dusted apple. (Once I get that I'll move on to blue moon for it's new items, and then probably prize get, blue sky, or burning chance for regular items. I'm not interested in frosty claw, or celebration gift, and probably wouldn't use shining crane because of the rarity cap.)

I always intend to frag anything worth less than 3000sp (most items) but usually run out of time and end up throwing it all in my vault which I'm continually in the process of emptying into my shop to be priced, and then cheap items removed and fragged.

I know that many people see vending as a useless weight on the economy and others see it as one of their favorite reasons to come on site. I can see the fun in it, but I also agree that the hundreds of duplicate items spewing out per day is crazy as it knocks them down to less than 500-1000 sp. :/

Last week when discussing revamping the restocking system, you said that items worth way less in user shops (and therefore not getting bought) would be removed from the pool for a while. I am still wondering if that might be just the thing to implement for vending as well.
*Any items devalued way below (say half) their shop prices would disappear from the vending pool. *Once their user shop prices passed (or doubled) NPC shop price they would go back into rotation. *Items that don't stock in shops could be given a base price to stay above, and vend-specific items have their set percentage chance of being pulled. ***If NPC shop prices change (do they? isoblivious) you could use a set price per rarity/rarity range instead.

Is that something that would work? Or be too complicated to code? Would that help solve vending issues? Or would we end up with too few items to vend?

Honestly, vending should be less a source of income and more a game.

I'm really bothered by the quantity of people who say it's their main source of income, because, imo, clicking a button 500 times shouldn't be a source of income. Especially if the site wants to go and get people to be more involved outside events.

I agree 200% with , and she worded things wonderfully.

2 token per vend was fine when the wizard gave out 10 pointers as the biggest denomination. It's no longer the case. It's 20 pointers at least, so vending should be AT LEAST 4-5 TOKENS per vend, but I'd be happy with at least 10, imo.

Yes, vending is fun, it's stress-free, it does not demand a lot of effort, and I feel that it doesn't match most of the changes that were established onsite lately.

 1. Do you vend at all? I vend on occasion and honestly when I have over 10k in tokens as I try to save them for use of BHH which I have not gotten an item in forever (8/10) on the achievement and it has to be going on 2 years since I last got something.
 2. How often? Maybe once every couple of weeks. I find that most of the time when I vend I will vend to try and gain a few of the newer items I have yet to be able to restock. I find that most of the items I get are low in value and end up in my shop or I hoard them away for the Recycle Beast, which I forget about most of the time too. I really should frag them, but that like vending, is pretty monotonous and tedious and I end up just buying the high priced items from others who have taken the time to frag.
 3. At which machines? Celebration Gift, Dragons Hoard and Ocean Depths mostly. There are times when I will just do each machine 50 times and max out for the day and then fill up my shop and auto price it.

I think an idea as others have mentioned is to limit how many a day and double it for GA members. I would like to see more rarity and newer items.

I would like to have a vending machine that even if it cost 20 or 50 tokens each hit that would produce an item of rare or super rare and limit it to 5 or 10 hits per day

It's already how it's working. 250 vends per user, 500 if you have a GA.

I am aware that there is a limit of 500 for the gold account users, I meant if they lowered it to like 100 for non gold account and then double it for Gold account like they do now.

I can see where my post was not very clear, thanks for clarifying for me. I like your ideas

 1. Do you vend at all? Rarely. The only time I usually vend is for special events or for achievements.
 2. How often? see the above.
 3. At which machines? I don't have a favorite. It kind of jumps around. I was doing OD a while back because I wanted riptide though. I kind of stopped because I was finding it pretty boring to continuously vend though.

To be honest if vending was the primary source of income on site I'd be bored to tears. I find vending in general to be pretty tedious and only do it when I have to or when I want items for fragmentizing personally.

1. Do you vend at all? maybe once in a blue moon. 2. How often? ^ 3. At which machines? depends on the wsq.

I'm very much in favour of retiring some of the machines + upping the token cost per vend.

 1. Yes, I do vend.
 2. Every day unless I'm busy like this month.
 3. I vend at Ocean Depths and Dragons Hoard the most, sometimes Blue Sky

I do not want to see vending go away, I would probably frag more if items were more likely to give out crystals. It's disheartening to see 30 things go in for example and only get maybe 10 crystals. My math may be off, it's just an example.

I would like to see more variety in the token shop and restocked more often. More potions, epicon cards, or items that used to be Reading Drive prizes.

That said, maybe some of the vending machines could stand to be retired...there's too many to pick from and only so many times you can vend a day.

Flux,

I personally when I see a shop that has a large quantity of one item when I am questing or purchasing and then there are a few shops with maybe only one or two of the same item for the same price, I will buy from the person with only 1 or 2 before I hit up the shop that has so many!

Place a limit on the amount of an item that can be stocked on an account (to stop people just making multiple shops). The fact that some people have items at 500+ stock is going to keep that item price down for a long time as they don&;t have enough time to sell out and inflate.

Place a limit on shops overall. I know there is the achievements for shops and people will moan, so even just making it that might help things go a little smoother. Put the same limit onto galleries while at it.

I know of at least two people in the past month that have gotten a riptide vending :). It seems the rate has been upped or it was removed and readded with no one knowing.

Honestly I don't vend very much (mostly because of lag). I'm actually vending more now since its update. I wouldn't remove it altogether though. There are people who do it for achievements e.g. vending at Ocean Depth to help with their wardrobe achievement, Blue Sky for books to read to their pets, etc. Plus it's a nice way to get restockable items that we may not otherwise get from the main shops. Or you can frag them.

I'm really happy to see more restocks in the Token Shop. I would love to see seasonal items that are unlimited at a higher price similar to the Millionaire Center.

 1. I do vend, generally when there's a batch of new shop items that I want to try for, or when my shop stock gets really low and I want to fill it quickly.

 2. Frequency depends on how much I'm on the site in general. It can be max vends daily, a few times a week, or every few weeks.

 3. Ocean Depths and I think Dragon Hoard are the two I use most frequently.

I honestly think there are too many machines, they can and should be condensed. The feature shouldn't be removed, but adding more vend-only items is a bad idea. I'd rather spend my tokens on BHH or more frequent token shop restocks. I'm cool with higher priced token shop items as well.

1. Do you vend at all? Yes 2. How often? Usually only when Major Drills asks me too. 3. At which machines? Blue Sky the great majority of the time. But,occasionally I'll choose a machine at random and vend 5-10 items just to see what I get.

And if you think vending should be removed / further restricted, how would you like to use your wizard tokens instead? I don't think that it should be removed completely, but I do think some tweaks need to be made. Something has got to be done about the way vending saturates the system and leads to the devaluation of prices. I do usually frag anything I can under 1,000 SPs.

I just wish there wasn't a restriction on what you can frag. I would love to be able to frag non-restockable items - all of the junk you get from floaters/goodie bags/etc., as well as retired items - but you can't which is a shame. It would help to take devalued crap out of the system.

I love the idea of a regularly stocking shop that uses wizard tokens. The TS is too sporadic and BHH is too dependent on chance. I'm sitting on a ton of tokens. If I'm going to use up these tokens, I need a sure thing. A permanent shop would do that. Having to depend on luck, as with BHH, just turns me off and so I don't even try to get anything from there.

 1. Do you vend at all? Yep!
 2. How often? 2-3 days a week or more if I have enough tokens to reach the limit each time.
 3. At which machines? At the moment: Ocean Depths, Blue Sky and Dragon's Hoard. Occasionally at Prize Get and Frosty Claw. And very rarely at any of the others except when items a released there.

And if you think vending should be removed / further restricted, how would you like to use your wizard tokens instead? I'd like Blackheart Hollow to have increased restock rates (not much, but just enough to make it a tad easier to see stuff there). Maybe also if Subeautique Invites were stocked at the Token Shop again, perhaps on a semi regular basis? Although that would probably cause the price of them to go down a bit much...

I definitely don't think vending should be removed entirely because, even as people have said that it's just clicking a button 500 times, that's sometimes all people have the time or energy for. Especially since a lot of other things on Subeta are rather time consuming. Like a few other people have suggested some of the machines could be removed or combined. I kind of feel the opposite of what said though because I love that the machines vend certain shops. Personally I'd prefer the keywords removed or maybe restricted a bit more since at the moment they make items pop up that don't fit with the theme of the machine.

Yes, I vend.

Just about daily.

I rotate machines, but usually use Celebration Gift.

Vending isn't that much different than restocking at this point. It's a single click of the button. It is also a gamble if you're not sure on pricing because of how wonky pricing is, and how inaccurate the hovers are. Unless you actually look items up, you're not going to know what they're selling for at that time. It isn't more effort, unless you're one of the people who sits and waits for high value items specifically. It does take longer, but that just makes it even more tedious than vending, not more valid.

1. Do you vend at all? YAS!

2. How often? When there was the retired items in Grave Digger I would vend everyday. I've done some vending in the last 3 days or so and I know I've maxed out my limit twice. It's not something I always do but if I have over 10K wizard token there's a good chance I will vend to the max.

3. At which machines? Celebration Gift is my favourite at the moment. And I give the others some love as well and all equally. Except Prize Get, I skip over that one almost every time. Oh and I've been giving Grave Digger a rest since the retired items were removed, I've seen enough of those items for the time being.

I like the limit as it is. I wish that I could get more stickers from the machines. If I'm correct 'Stick it to the Man' isn't a shop on the vending list but a few items get in there via certain words. I really liked the retired Survival items being put into Grave Digger and I would waste a lot of token if something similar was done for Vesnali, or any other event or holiday or whenever for whatever reason.

I also like the easy vending and fragging combo when I am in the mood to do some fragging, otherwise it nice just to dump it all into my shop and run the autopricer. :)

All in all, I really do love vending and I would be sad if it would go, UNLESS there was something similar to replace it.

I vend as often as I possibly can. Some days I get distracted and don't manage to get there.

I will vend 50 items from each of the 10 machines every day that I vend. (GA user)

I do not think vending should be removed :( or further restricted. It is a very good thing to have, especially for those (including myself) trying to fill in the thousands upon thousands of spaces in collections. I honestly use my tokens for vending. An occasional zap maybe, if I remember. And the carnival games. I don't bother with BHH because it is impossible. Please don't remove the vending. :(

 1. Do you vend at all?

 2. How often?

 3. At which machines?

 4. yes

 5. couple times a week. I'm trying to go for the achievement

 6. celebration gift and oceans depth mostly. I used to use blue sky because it would vend books but the bean bags you would get from it would be worth 300 sp usually ... every now and then I'll vend and just frag everything.

I dont think the feature should be worth removing completely since there is the achievement where you get the miniature vending machine ... Theres got to be a way to modify the system so we dont have a bunch of useless items floating around.. maybe make it more expensive and and reduce the limit further??
