I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. I lost my mom a few years back suddenly ( she was sick but we had no idea she was that sick) so I'm familair with the feelings it brings. I hope the days ahead get a bit easier for you and you're able to get your things done.

- That's true! Who shot the shot? And thanks for explaining the joke. You're right, I never delved into that area. :D
- Oh, that's creepy that he's writing you letters. I would definitely show those to the police. He gives me psycho vibes. Please be careful around your house, don't leave your front door unlocked. Ever. :( Happy birthday to your dad! :D
- (Hugs It's nice seeing you out here blabbing away. Sorry you're still so stressed. :(
- I hope you're able to work it out. Choosing a path forward in life is difficult but definitely stay in healthcare if you can, there are always helathcare jobs available somewhere. :D
Welcome :)
I figured if you never left Helgen you wouldn't start to go down the rabbit hole of naming conventions for the races of Tamriel.
I only really know Argonian and Khajiit off the top of my head. Argonian names are either in Jel or translated from Jel. Scouts-Many-Marshes is a form of the latter while Derkeethus is a form of the former.
huggles you
- Nope, never went there. LOL I was such a bad gamer. I think I just loved Guild Wars too much to play anything else. 😂
- I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. :( Hugs
It is hard to choose a career when I have not tried them. I don't want to get a degree for a career I don't enjoy. Though I do know that healthcare is always open in any state, it is a tough field because of how rude and mean the patients are. Maybe I should just continue with the healthcare coordinator and see how it goes.
I just got back home from my bariatric appointment today. Everything went well. I have an appointment with the dietitian next week and a follow-up with the doctor I saw today in December. We shall see how things go from here. I hope to get below 200 at some point.
- Thank you <3 Not to jump on your convo but I play ESO heavily and saw you mention argonians and khajiit (although I assume you're referring to Skyrim not ESO) There's also nords, high elfs, wood elf but that's about the extent of my knowledge with the lore from there lol
- Thank you! It's his second time fighting cancer (first was in his esohpagus that he beat 5 years ago) however, he beat it the first time and the doctor is talking about his therapy a few years down the road so I'm trying to stay hopeful!
- You had bariatric surgery or are you hoping to get it done? I only ask because I had the gastric sleeve done years ago.

I have not had it done but I am looking into see what all is involved with it if I cant loss the weight I want on my own. But it seems to be working well for me right now just have to keep the motivation going and be harder on myself with my portions of meals.
You're not a bad gamer :)
Don't worry, I don't mind you jumping in =D
I was talking about The Elder Scrolls lore in general. I've only played Skyrim and Oblivion Remastered (though I'm waiting awhile to get to the main quest on that one).
I haven't gotten to playing ESO yet.
Hey All....
Happy Anniversary Subeta!!!! Im so glad this site has been here for this long. Ive been here for a long time, not from the beginning but long enough lol. But I love it here. Though Im not liking the new site on Kumos. Really its the quests that I dont like. So im really hoping they dont change over anytime soon. Im not good with change lol I remember the last big site change on here and I hated it then to, but I grew to like it and I like doing my quests on the old site. I also stock my shop while I quest and it seems like on the Kumos site I wont be able to do it like I do now. So im not a fan. Anyways....
Hello, I really like ur HA! I went to ur profile to see what the items were but u dont have them listed on there. Could u maybe let me know what the items are? I love all things Halloween (Esp since its my birthday lol) I change my HA daily and I love dressing her up during Morostide.
Ok well im off to do the rest of my quests. Toodles.....
It's insane it's taking so long i know there are laws but come on after 3 years of me complaining and others longer.. Sheesh. The last time they said they did not have enough, there are caps inbetween (he leaves us alone as he had a warning), not everyone make a complaint. I said that is BS! What more do they need?
I am, staying far away from him! So far still no answer from the rental company, you think when they suggest a meeting they come back to you asap? Think i will mail them again, asking if they got a date.
So how do we get the birthday items? Already for my birthday next sunday!
I had a mini gastric bypass in 2018
Same here not liking the kumos site. But 21 years of subeta is long!
- Thank you so much!! It's my favorite holiday :) I fixed my profile so you can now see what I'm wearing but here's a run down to make it easier, , , , , , , , , , , , and . I'm going to be changing it sometime this week once I figure out what pieces I want to use for my new halloween theme. I'm going black/purple this time.
I originally wanted the bypass but I would've had to lose at least 100lbs on my own and with the medical issues I had it was just too impossible for me.

- Sometimes I feel it although I know that gamers come in all colors and forms. Don't mind me, I'm just missing my games. 😢
- I know it's not easy because you've had a bad scare but phelobotomy is a good career when you're in the correct setting. I honestly think it is the setting your in, not the job you have. I worked for years in medicine as a medical secretary, I saw aall the jobs. Try to see if your company has phlebotomy jobs in one of their hospitals instead of where you are in an outlier lab. The setting change may do you good. It will also give you a chance to see how those others professions work and see if you want to do them or not. I once had a friend who was a CNA at a nursing home. She transfered to the hospital, saw how the x-ray techs work and transfered into that after having to take only a couple of classes to learn the job. She loved it afterwards. Don't give up. Don't let this once incident drag you down, you're better then that. Hugs
- You know what I think of the guy. I don't like you bing in your situation. I hope he backs off until something can be done. :( Oh, no! Is it your birthday? :O :O :P
and - Why don't you like the quests on kumos?
- hugs ❤
Not yet, the 28th is my birthday.
And i am not liking the situation to, al they say all the time we are busy with it. But talked to him (rental acengy man) today and he gave me some info and promised me he call me back next week and set a date... I need to see it to believe it.
I tried everything and nothing worked for me to lose weight so after many talks with doctor and the bariatric team i had my surgery in 2019. Lost 40kg, gaind a wee bit but much happier now
I know I will have issues in almost every job I go into. They all have strengths and weaknesses. I just have to find a balance. What I truly believe I want to do is be a diagnostic sonographer. That is what I originally wanted to go into college for. However, I was turned down for a spot in the program because I did not have all the prerequisites. So I must finish those before trying again to get into the program. But I have also looked into radiologic technologists as well. Even the CT scans I have looked into. I am more than willing to go into any one of those. I have to pick one and go for it.
oh you pick what you like and i do hope they have a spot for you so you can pursue your dreams.
After summer weather today, 26 degrees celcius and a nice sun! Better then the cold and rain from the last few days, The trees are coloring and losing there leaves... fal is here
- Congratulations!! I lost a little over 200lbs but gained some back after my mom passed away. I'm currently working on getting back to my lowest and have lost 30lbs since the end of may. It's slower but i'm hoping by next year I'll be back to where I was. If not I'm going to look into the switch to bypass.
ESO is fun but I only play the PVE parts aside from group dungeons because you need to be good at mechanics and such and it's just not my forte lol I've been playing for years though and there's still areas I have a bunch to complete in. You also shouldn't go into it assuming it's like Skyrim or Oblivion. It's similair but different. The first time I played I hated it, I didn't get too far into it though so once I actually gave it a chance I fell in love.

- a diagnostic sonographer saved my life this past february. I had a pericardial effusion that was going into tapanade. The sonographer that did my echocardiagram caught it. The result was emergency thoracic surgery to drain it. It cost me 2 weeks in the hospital and missing Survival but I'm very grateful to that sonographer who initially caught the problem. If they hadn't caught it, my heart could have failed and I wouldn't be here. So, it's a very good job to have as it can be very satisfying to help your patients. While in the hospital I talked to all the sonographers I met, (and there were a lot because I was getting sonograms at least once a day until I was discharged,) were very professional. One thing I found out was that they were all at the top of their class and were very smart. So, why don't you finish the pre-reqs for the program and get accepted? You'll definitly need a good grade in the medical terminology class you were bemoaning, that's for sure. Kimmie, you're way smart enough to get into the program. Follow your instincts and get into it. Hugs :D
- It's good you called them. That's just as effective as a letter but they can set a letter aside and ignore it for a time. They can't really do that with a call. Hold him to his word, call back Monday and ask for a set meeting date. Be your own advocate becAUSE NO ELSE IS GOING TO DO AS GOOD A JOB. ;) I didn't realize you had bariatric surgery. How does that work with all the high teas you like to go to? Do you only take one bite of something and then pass on the rest or do you genuinely not feel hungry? Obviously, I've never had it done. I wouldn't even know where to start looking if I did. :) I bet the trees are starting to look just lovely over there. It's still too warm for them to turn over here yet. Morostide is on the way! :D
It's hard to pick without first trying it, but I can't try it without a degree in it.
I also do not know if my financial aid will cover that prerequisite because it is not part of my current major. I have to find that out before going forward.
Classes are still going well so far. Work is okay, too. Patients are still mean and rude, but it's a given in any job.
Congratulations on losing 200 lbs. I want to be less than 200. I meet with the dietitian next week to see what else I can do to help with this. Do you have any advice?
Glad they caught it on time and was able to save your life! I want to do that for patients too. I don't know if I'll ever be top of my class. I was never in high school. I can still try, and if anything, I'll change to a different major again. Guess we will have to see how this semester goes and if I can get the prerequisites paid for by FAFSA.
- Don't sell yourself short! I wasn't top of my class in high school, either, but, in university I graduated with a 4.0 avg and with 2 honors. You can do it. :) I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll be able to switch classes and get the ones you need for the sonography program covered by student aid. :D
Happy "Talk like a Pirate" Day everyone! Yaarrrggg!
