He's going to be in rehabilitation for two weeks so that the hospital can determine whether or not he can live on his own. Luckily I don't have a home of my own so at no risk of him moving in. I can barely stand him on a good day, I would not be a good caretaker. Even when I help Brian out after he gets out of a surgery, he tries to get back on his feet asap or otherwise tries to help me out.

Yeah, my emotions are all over the place.

My brother died last night at 10:46 pm. I'm glad he's not suffering anymore but my heart hurts and feels so heavy. We will miss him so much.

I am SO sorry to hear of your loss and actually understand the pain you are feeling as I lost my father in '22 rather suddenly and that loss still pains me. I wish I could give you a hug right now.

Oh there's at least one mod to allow you to marry Elisif. But since I'm playing on console, I need to earn the final achievement before I can start using them. Not usually an achievement person but Skyrim is a good game xD

There are also mods so you can marry Serena. And of course some people get offended by that as they treat her like a real person. In canon she doesn't want to marry due to being raped.

There are some mods you can't use on console. I believe any mod that allows you to kill kids isn't allowed on console. There is one annoying brat in Windhelm that I yearn to slaughter. I play as an Argonian and he mocks the Argonian dock workers.

Dad should have been put in a rehabilitation place until they knew why he fell. But his insurance won't pay for that and so he was sent home. Visited him again today.

Sorry to hear ur dad took a fall. I hope he heals quickly. But I agree they should evaluate him thoroughly to see why he fell and if he needs to be in an assisted living or a nursing home or even at home with nurses and PT, OT coming in. I hate when hospitals and Dr's dont do what needs to be done, esp for older people. I delt with sooooo much of that kinda BS with my mom and my father in law when I was caring for them. Thankfully they lived with us and since I stay home I was able to care for them and helped them with everything. I did have a nurse and PT, OT coming in also, but mostly it was me.

Health Insurance are complete villains. Doctors will want to provide certain care and then Health Insurance will say it's not needed.

We (me and Brian) want dad to make copies of his keys to give to some of his friends and neighbors. So if Dad falls again someone will be able to get to him quickly. Part of the reason no one checked up on him earlier was because no one had his house key.

- Oh, well if you're trying to get the achievements, then I completely understand. :) :O They just sent him know without getting to the bottom of the cause? Insurance companies these days really do suck. I know it took a lot out of you to call him, are you doing ok? How is your dad holding up? :D

Last achievement I need is Oblivion Walker. First playthrough I didn't get one of the Daedric Artifacts. Now have to wait until I get to a certain part of the Main Plot in my second playthrough. And I didn't want to start the Main Plot UNTIL joining every faction.

I do want to divorce Derkeethus in my second playthrough (done through mods) as he's lovable, sexy but glitchy. I like to have my family move to my different properties but with him I can't. Not unless I want to ever see him again xD

So I am stuck with them living in Riften at the moment.

Yeah, they just let him go home. The hospital called me so I didn't have to wait to call them. I visited him yesterday and he's doing okay. He's a little weak but is acting like nothing is different. We didn't tell him that I was the one to be worried about him getting dementia and I'm glad we hid that as he didn't like the idea.

I'm doing a lot better but worried if I'll get another call that he fell again. I'm distracting myself through work and streaming mostly.

still no answer! A neighbour who send in a email telling them what he does to her gets a reply fast and me still nothing, nuts! And the company who could install the doorbell says they can't do it, sheesh! Why is everything so hard, take long and he gets away with everything?!

- You just talking about it reminds me how complex and involved a game Skyrim is. I didn't get very far in it but my hubby played the whole way thought and loved all of it. :) Your dad may not like to hear that it may be dementia but he has to put his big-boy pants on and understand that something is seriously wrong with him. Normal people don't spend 3 days on the floor of a closet. (Wow, I didn't realize how bad that sounded until I typed it. :/ ) He needs to take control of his medical issues before there's nothing left to take control of, bu t then, you understand this already. I hope you don't get another call, too. :D

Only pro-Stormcloaks' view I have a deep loathing for is that the faction can't be racist because there are other racists in the series.

Brian was supposed to call someone yesterday but I don't think he did. His allergies are affecting him pretty badly so I haven't asked to check. I haven't had any updates from Dad so I think that's a good thing.

- It all sounds so convoluted, i probably wouldn't have gotten very far even if I could have played through it. I would have gotten caught up in one viewpoint or other and just stopped playing. XD Well, I hope no news is good news. I hope Brian feels better. :) I'm off to read it. :D

Gameplay wise there isn't too much distinction between both sides. So you could casually play it and decide which side to join based on aesthetics. Heck, you could avoid the Civil War questline completely if you wanted to. It honestly isn't that impressive and even when you win the civil war the moot isn't held so the leader you supported is never made High Queen (or King) of Skyrim. The changes to the game are honestly minimal.

I decided on Imperials initially due to seeing the Argonians on the Windhelm docks and how poorly they were treated. Ulfric, not his father, made some excuse of protecting the Argonians by placing them on the docks as basically slave labor.

We'll be calling dad tomorrow as I need money for some dentist thing.

And, yeah, Jash read the entire library multiple time. The trick is just being burdened by grief n.n

But one of my neighbours send a email and got reply back so i send another this time mad one asking why she gets a reply and not me. Long story short we taking them up on a meeting without the frootloop. Wonder when it will happen.

I had a nice evening walk last night until i got home. He was at my door ringing the doorbell. I did not open the door and told him no, trough the door. He kept ringing and ringing. I called my neighbour (who i just walked with) in panic he was at my door. She came and he just walked away.. idiot. Send another mail and complaint about him... nothing.. sheesh..

Anyway slept crap and was scared. glad i am off today.
