What video games do you like?

Oh all sorts of stuff. I grew up a nintendo baby but I've always loved sonic too. Pokemon and Zelda are my main jams, but I also play a bunch of indie games on steam. Terraria and Stardew Valley are also up there for me. I've also been getting into Dead by Daylight with my fiance recently.

How about you? :)

Hubby is still working on getting my 3Ds fixed so can't play any Pokemon until then.

I love Stardew Valley. Also big on Skyrim and Minecraft.

Currently also playing Alan Wake 2 (doing my best to get through the entire Remedy Connected Universe) and Oblivion Remastered.

I also love LOVE Disco Elysium. But it's such an intense and long game that I need to be in a certain mood to play it.

we always get 3 weeks (paid) vacation here in the summer. And i also have a week in spring and a week in the fall.

It's been a nice few days here normal warmth for the summer. The upcomming week will be a bit cooler and then the heat will come back. I am in disneyland Paris then and i am hoping it won't be a heatwave.

As subby is in winter style so i decided to do Chrostmas in July to with my HA :)

WHAT! I want to work where you do! I only get a week and four days off if I choose to take PTO. The rest of my PTO has to go to holidays that we are closed, which I think is beyond stupid, but unfortunately, it is how my company works.

I am considering leaving my job and finding a better one that pays more. I have so many bills, and I can't seem to pay them all with what I am currently making. I can't take on a second job because my college courses will be starting up soon, and I already overexert myself with working full time and going to school. Adding another job into the mix is not a good idea; I would not be able to pass my courses if I did. I don't know what job I could go into to get paid more than what I am now.

You can find my response to your repost in my last post (the one before this one. ;) ) My problem with the kumos forums isn't that I can't read them, I can read them just fine. It's that I can't reply in them. the post/text box will not let me post. So, I can only post/reply in the old forums. :(

- I'm glad you got someone to take pictures of you getting your diploma. Now you can put it up on your wall. :) Disney Paris sounds like lots of fun. I hope the weather is nice for your trip. Are you going to ride any of the rides? :D

come and move to europe, everyone has it. ANd when i am sick it costs me nothing, they sheldue me sick. But if it takes to long i have to see the company doctor, etc.

You should go for another job if this one is not heling you pay the bills. But first a new job then quit the old one.

I have always wanted to travel outside the US but never had the money for it. Plus, not knowing anyone in the area makes my anxiety spike. I have wanted to travel to Paris, Scotland, and Europe. I heard that if you are pregnant in Scotland, I think it is that the government gives the expecting parents a big box of all the essentials to care for the baby. The box even turns into a bassinet for the baby. The US does nothing to help expectant mothers. My coworkers have had difficulty taking time off to have a child. The more I learn about things other countries do for their citizens, the more I wish I could leave the country.

Yeah, I do not think anyone has the money to move anywhere now a days. It is crazy how much things cost theses days. I would love to go on a nice long vaction but its so much money just to have food in the house. I was reading one of my fantasy books and everything eas free rent,food, everything the only thing they asked is for everyone to help with a job around the sancturay. I wish everything was like that in real life. Things would be so much easier for everyone. less stressful too.

Is anyone having trouble opening forums on the original site? Did the forums move over completely to the new site? I can only open them on te new site. Or is site just lagging that bad right now. There isnt that many users on right now and this morning everything was fine with both sites.

Stardew Valley is so nice because you have a house, don't want for too much, and are looked up to by everyone. Then you have another house on a tropical island!

Yeah, the other site's forums aren't loading for me either.

At least I am not the only one having trouble with the other site. I will definietly have some ajusting to do when the orignal site is gone.

Stardew Valley is a game. HIGHLY addictive.

Oh man. My fiance is OBSESSED with disco elysium haha. He had me play it and it was SO intense. I got up to maybe the second or third in-game day. I really liked it but it really does sap the mental energy from you haha.

Hii and thankyou!! :) I like to read a bunch of different things, but YA novels are a big guilty pleasure of mine. I just love adventure and whimsy haha. I've been reading through the entire Warriors series as of recent, since I never got to read them as a kid. Its been kind of therapeutic getting to experience the stories everyone else grew up with-- my family couldn't really afford it when I was a kid. I think I'm about halfway through the series as of right now :D

My half-brother gave it to me soon after our grandma's funeral. I had heard of it and knew NOTHING about it. I didn't even know you played a cop and was there to solve a murder.

So finding those things out was something XD

I know now how to not to dream that super depressing dream on the island so I won't have to experience that in future playthroughs. Though it will require to avoid the church to stay safe. And that's the best sidequest in the game.

I've gotten through the game three times so far.

every country has something for everyone like a baby box, sick leave, etc. Depends on where you live. I travel alone most of the time, it's very common here and i use trave agents to cater to it or have group travels so i am never really aone. Well in my hotel room i am. It is a bit scary at the beginning but you always find someone to talk or connect to. ANd i love it, can do my own thing and no need to think of others

I totally feel that, very odd more isn't done.

- No worries. I'm just not looking forward to the day the new forums go live because that's the day I wwon't be able to talk here any more. :( (unless they fix the problem, and , considering the response I've gotten, that's not likely to happen. :/ )

- The last time I went to Disney I went on Space Mountain with my older son. It was so much fun we went through 3 more times after that. 😆 I tried to go through the Haunted Mansion with my oldest daughter but it was too scary for her. So, it was back to my oldest son and we had a blast, again. I miss being able to do stuff like that. So you must! I need to live vicariously! :P 😂

- I don't know The Warrior Series. Who wrote it and what's it about? Right now I'm struggling through Brandon Sanderson's "Wind and Truth." It's not bad but it's the end of a story arch that I don't want to see end. :/

- Old forums are loading fine now. :) As for maternity stuff, With all my kids I got a diaperbag stuffed full ofsamples and coupons for free stuff. Granted, the baby couldn't sleep in a diaper bag but at least it was a good start for someone who had no idea where to start (with my first baby at least.) Plus, I got 6 weeks paid maternity leave. If you're not satisfied with your job's offerings then you should get a new one. Your career field is in demand right now. The hospital where I live is offering nice salary packages to phlebotomists because there's a shortage down here. Look around where you are and I bet you'll find a sweet deal in no time. :D
