A depressing one for me, I just found out my cousin (once removed) has passed away from her stomach cancer. I wasn't super close with her but I still loved her a lot and so I'm just trying to distract myself at this point

Happy belated Easter, everyone! I had a fantastic day with my peeps. We had a lovely ham dinner and watched BlaadeRunner for the movie. Talk about a good easter flix XD

My condolences go out to those whose lives were touched by Pope Francis. He was a good man.

- It sounds like you had a blast! I'm going to have to find somewhere around here that serves traditional high tea so I can experience it. I bet they would have crumpets. Or those little tea cakes that you put in the toaster oven and come out crispy on top. I have a Brit friend who described it to me. We had a long discussion about whether curdled cream was really butter. 😆 I'm so glad you had a good time. :D

as Gouda is the cheese city (cheese is named after it) we started the high tea with tea anda 3 chourse meal starting with a cheese soup. Then we had savoury round: carpacio wrap, bagel salmon, cheese puff (and i can't remember what else). And then we had a sweet round: scone with clotted cream and jelly, brownie, bonbon, little cake and 1 more thing i forgot. I was tea-fedup at the end lol!

We have easter monday here to and not much is open just some shops and home/living shops. I went with my dad (he drives me around) with Dua to the pet shop. There was a real photographer that took pics of animals. And wow what a differance, Dua stood still and i got a lovely picture. Can pic it up around may 12th. As he is going to make it nice and print it. I got a pic pic, small one and little ones for a nice deal.

Today i went back to work... pff the pope took 2 residents with him yesterday, one in the early morning and the other on at the end of the evening. Was a shock for me after 5 days off. And it was so busy! Stayed longer as i did not finish everything (computer system down, doc visit, medicine check, etc). Decided to go into town to get a McChicken and some new shoes (pay day). Was home at 5:15pm (almost 2 hours later then normal). No couch potato lol

Feeling a little more sick since yesterday. I should be put on a new medication for my migraines sometime today and I have an MRI scheduled.

Did not help that I watched the latest episode of The Last of Us knowing what would happen last night xD

How cool for the Dua pic! So neat when they sit perfectly. One year we got a family pic with us holding our four cats... oh definitely a wild experience! lol

Hello, lovelies! I've been AWOL for almost a month... Turns out my stomach bug is actually pregnancy! I've had a rough time of it recently (was taken into hospital Sunday morning/Easter, due to diabetic complications and morning sickness, and got home last night)... Hope you're all well! I'm hoping to partake in Vesnali so frantically hopping around the site trying to find flowers!

Well, congratulations~ At least you found out what's wrong! I hope it gets easier for you now. My morning sickness was always in the afternoon. Ugh. It was awful, so I sympathasize. My parents had a lovely friend that thought she was going through menopause and came to find out she was pregnant instead. She thought she was done with all that. At the time she had one son in the Navy and another that was about to graduate high school. It was a shock to say the least!

- Congratulations! I'm sorry you're so sick, though. I hope it passes. I was really sick with my 3rd and the only thing that helped, I swear, were McDonald's french fries. For some reason they stopped the morning sickness in it's tracks. How are you holding up? :D

- My son has been gathering tons. I can't get rid of them fast enough. 😆 Know of a fast way to off-load flowers? I tried refreshing on the "give a flower" page and it doesn't work. Rotten thing. kicks page :P

- Oh! You went to Gouda. My screen reader pronounced it Guta. Stupid thing. XD I love gouda. My son makes the best mac and cheese with just smoked gouda. It's soo ooey-gooey that I love itplain right out of the pan.Your high tea has given me some interesting ideas on what to do with gouda. Gouda soup sounds really good, and so does gouda stuffed pastries. Oh, you did have the scones with the clotted cream. So, what do you think, Is clotted cream just butter? My Brit friends says that is sacrilidge. 😆 Sorry you lost two patients. That's never good but at least they went with the Pope. That had to be soothing to their poor families. He was such a kind man. I hope they find a worthy successor. :( Oh, a lovely picture of Dua to put up with the boys pics. I bet she was such a good kitty for her picture. :D

It is so good of your son to do those things for you. That's awesome. Poor page! It got all wrinkled and tore when you kicked it. Snicker. Fast? Not to give them away. I do individually give them away and then in wrapped gifts to those that say they need them. But when I get tired of that I toss them in my vault in the folder Flowers for Vesnali for next year. Then I just keep collecting the floaters and give those back to people that give me some. But Vesnali is pretty much over for me as soon as I buy all the things from Ester's shop I want. Like the first day. But I love looking at the new stuff. It's the same usually for every holiday for me. :)

So the new meds I was supposed to get were delayed due to a note telling my pharmacy saying I had to call first. Which has never happened before and we don't know why that happened now.

So my migraines should get better soon.

In better news I played one of the Alan Wake 2 Night Springs DLCs. In lore they're three attempts of Alan trying to get out of the Dark Place. His powers work by him writing events happening. So gameplay wise the Night Spring DLCs are a way to just have fun with their game.

Number One Fan is from the point of view of Rose. In the main games she is a fan obsessed with Alan Wake. So the DLC turns the dark and gritty Alan Wake games into a cheesey romance.

hahahah guta, that is not even close! And real good Gouda cheese fits with everything, toastie, normal bread, mac & cheese, over pasta's, cheese soup, cheese bitterballen, etc. We are a cheesy country hahahaha lol!

I am not sure clotted cream does not taste like butter but it's nice. You put that on fist then jam and then eat togheter, yum!

Well the Pope was not done yet, on tuesday he took another resident....:( I was not close with them but knew them all.

Workig tomorrow when he has his funeral but it's also Kingsday here, party! I am wearing Orange to work as that is our national color.

It's moved on to acid reflux over sickness now and it is -horrific- .... Especially at night :') I'm pretty sure I have GERD - whenever I eat, I'm getting horrible headaches from the sickness ;-; I'm 13 weeks along and hoping the next couple of weeks will settle things down enough that I'm not a walking pill bottle with all the meds I've been given to counteract it all! That is absolute insanity though, jeezo! I can't even imagine thinking I was going through menopause and realising I was pregnant instead...!! That's worse than my school friend I'd say, who found out at 7 months along she was pregnant with twins! She'd had zero symptoms of pregnancy at all beyond a little tiredness! It was sheer fluke they found out I'm sure!

Maaaan my grandfather took me and my other half home from hospital and bought us a McDonalds because I hadn't eaten very much... I managed a single bite of the burger before the awful reflux kicked in ;-; I was devastated hahaha, I'd gotten a milkshake specifically to dip my fries into and couldn't eat them at all T_T Doing alright, my whole body still feels so tender and painful from being so sick! But holding up okay, as best I can anyway! Lots of anti sickness and anti nausea meds, lots of rest... Hoping I don't start craving foods before the GERD/acid reflux settles down! XD

And THANK YOU to everybody who has sent me flowers so far <3 Really appreciate it! I haven't partaken in Vesnali in a few years so it's lovely to have the currency :D

OMG! That's horrible. That sounds like a lot more than morning sickness. I hope the meds help. <3 With my son it was worse but nothing like yours. And we had different blood types, so had the RH factor. I vaguely remember taking some kind of different meds for that. But both times the morning sickness happened the first three months, nothing the second three months, and then sporatically the last three months. I was fine in the second trimester with pretty much everything. The last I was really tired and uncomfortable. Both my babies were nearly 10 pounds - my daughter was 9lbs 10oz, my son 9lbs 11oz. I lost 20 pounds as soon as each was born. I remember going to my dining table and putting my baby bump on it for a few minutes - just taking the weight off my back. My friend laughed but it was such a relief I didn't care. It was the perfect height. :)

Well, we did end up with a nice pic, but there were 20 something proofs. Something was wrong with all of them. lol I looked for it in my pc. I know I had it but couldn't find it. :( There were several times years ago that I lost all my pics and rp because of @#$!&^% hackers - it was devastating. (Maybe I still have the actual pic in a photo almum somewhere. Idk. A lot of them and all my Christmas decorations and big Coleman camping cooler were stolen from a storage room during the time it took to go back for the second load. It was horrible. They stole stuff that meant nothing to anyone else and everything to me. Irreplaceable sentimental things.) It was a fun pic and meant a lot to me even tho it was an ordeal to get. It was worth the adventure. You really should take all three of your cats and try. <3

Well finding out you're pregnant like that...must have been a shock.

Honestly, being an insulin-dependant diabetic while pregnant has made it all worse I'm sure! I've always been awful for catching colds and getting sick (lots of other health issues that are also connected to T1D unfortunately!), so the pregnancy 'side effects' are kicking my butt a little bit ^^; Oh wow! I can only imagine the relief taking the weight off that bump would have been! :o I'm already showing and feel like I've ballooned, and I've got another 6 months or so to go! I've always been warned type ones tend to have bigger than average size babies too... And my husband was an 11lb baby, as was his brother! XD

It was an unexpected but wholly wonderful surprise! Honestly, I thought I had MRSA because there was an outbreak of it around the time I was super sick... It was a friend of mine that told me to test, I have no idea why the thought didn't come to me myself though!

oh hackers, why or why do they steal stuff from us normal people. Go hack the bad guys. And why stuff you don't need like pics.

Maybe next time when the photgrapher isthere i will try with 3 cats

Happy Kingsday from here in the Netherlands. Our King his birthday party, actually his birthday as tomorrow but as it's a sunday so celebrating today. Not me i had to work so wore my orange shirt to work and we made it festive as much as we could, after the funeral of the pope

Happy Kingsday! They hacked my pc itself just for fun I imagine. It was during the time of MySpace and different groups just thought it was so great to attack others. I wanted to hex all the troublemakers! It was devastating and stupid. The system crashed with that damned blue screen of death and the files were all corrupted. That was around 20 years ago, so it wasn't all identity theft like it mostly is today. I lost everything the first time, about 1/2 the second, and the third hardly anything. In between my son was getting better and better with failsafes and I was able to buy better and bigger external hard drives each time.

Wow, lots of issues. Hope it gets better. At least you know. OMG I thought 10 lb babies were big! I can't imagine 11 lb ones. And after you have them, then you carry them around and they just get bigger and heavier. lol My kids had outgrown the Newborn size before they were born. lol So they couldn't wear most of the cute clothes people had given me.

This lady was my roommate in the hospital with me when I had my daughter, and hers was about 6 lbs, so significantly smaller. She was crying one time and I asked her what was the matter. She said there was something wrong with her baby because she was so small next to mine, and they wouldn't tell her what. I told her I was 5'10" and Caryn's father was 6'5", so it wasn't unusual to have a big baby; and it would be normal for her at maybe 5'5" and her husband a couple inches taller to have a small one. It just made sense. I also told her if something was wrong with her baby they would have said so, and if it was major moved them up to the floor above where the critical patients were. I told her her baby was beautiful and just reflected her amazing parents. Then she cried for a different reason and was all smiles afterwards. <3

ugh i hate those kind of peiople, just fof fun... And yes nowadays we can protect or pc better ten 20 years ago. Glad your son is helping.

Well Kingsdag was nice at work, once i got home i fell asleep on the couch lol! Not in the mood anymore when i woke up to go into town. Went to bed on time , slept in and now at work till 11:15 pm (it's almost 7pm, brealktime).
