Poor male cats - they just get the short stick with the urine crystals. Yeah they are life threatening. Glad you got to the vet pronto! Also glad yours and 's cats are/will be doing well. :)

Meez is doing o-ish. Meds are working and he enjoys the food. But not out of the woods yet, i did know either cats could have it. Learned something new. He is on my radar and i hope he will a beautiful boy again soon and healthy. He looks so nasty with his bald spots.

Kobo is a book reader, you can use it like a book or like an audio-book meaning to let it talk to you . This new kobo is a wonderful thing I have already in less then a month I have just over 170 books added to it..... so much to read on and on and on... love it!!!!

Does a careful Happy Dance I've been completely discharged from both physical and occupational therapy! No more forced exercise making me all strong and healthy. 😆 :P They both said that I've shown moarked improvement in all areas since they came on the scene 4 weeks ago. Guess it just goes to show excersise does have it's benefits. :)

- Oh, your pretty boy will be back soon and better then ever. I had a ferret that went bald due to old age. He wasn't very pretty but he was still very loveable. :D

E-books really do help in saving space. I have a small house so if I were to buy every book I wanted to read...would need a separate house to live in XD

I am currently doing a text roleplay with friends. We haven't posted in days due to the other two being sick.

I'm doing my best to keep Alex and Jash sounding different as they have different upbringings as well as not being the same species. Really wanted to do my best at having an Argonian that didn't sound like a generic human. Finding that Alex tends to have a little more foul mouth than Jash.

- eBooks are a life-saver. I have over 8000 of them on my Audibles account. I'd have to rent a 2nd apartment just to keep all of those if they were paper and binding. XD

- You're doing a good job keeping their voices distinct although you'd think it would be the other way around, eh? LOL I am interested in the mystery you alluded to in the chapter. I love myself a good mystery. Oh, I hope your friends get better soon! :D

we have a small house too but I do have a library with 4 shelving units and over 600 books so far, plus over 150 on this kobo I got for Yule gifting.

I don't know why Jash got the clean mouth as he's the one who loves cannibalism and murder. But, nope, the good FBI agent has the filthy mouth XD

I realized a chapter or two ago that I tend to have to censor more of Alex's chapters and I was just like: O.o

Whoo Hoo!!! So glad. <3 Now that my move is done, OMG I'm so happy! :) Looking forward to life now. I didn't realize exactly what a weight I was carrying and living under until it was gone. My entire outlook is brighter and I am the better for it. Of course, some of the stress is still there but incredibly, wonderfully, lessened into 'normal' I guess. lol

Hi to everyone! :)

I organized my bedroom closet when I first moved in and its just wonderful. (I want the grey doors on the closet and back of the main door into the room either painted or veneered someday. I hate grey, but my mother liked it. At least this grey is light.) My son Cory still does not understand my love for shoes and boots and why I have 24 pairs... but he still helped me assemble the clear boxes I keep most of them in. lol I do have some clothes and coats stored in two other closets elsewhere, but they are things I don't wear very often.

I needed a dresser badly. A friend suggested this thrift store that really had nice things. I found a beautiful carved dresser made of dark wood with brass handles there a few weeks ago, and at the same time we found the perfect gun cabinet for the den. So excited. Still on the hunt for a headboard to match, and we looked today, but no luck. I'll find one eventually tho. My bed has a purple quilted bedspread and matching shams. Also an Indian blanket with short fringe all around goes across it. And most of the time our four cats are snoozing on it. lol One thing Cory and I really love are the black out curtains I found on Amazon. We have them in both our bedrooms, and his office and bath. Being night owls they are really appreciated.

We have a lot more to do, but will take our time. Cory is going to refinish a short and wide bookcase I have and put it in the den to hold games, game systems, and equipment for the TV that will be wall-mounted above it. He also wants to refinish the base of my flat-back hex aquarium - I think it's 65 gallons - and then we will have to completely revamp the tank and buy all new equipment for it. It was a salt water tank for over a decade and went through many gorgeous and expensive fish. But at the end when I lost both my beautiful lion fish that had grown from a few inches to almost a foot long each, I was just heartbroken. I didn't have the heart to start over and couldn't afford it anyway, so I transitioned to a fresh water one. Much cheaper and still pretty, but nothing on a salt tank. Cory wants it to be a salt one again, and I think I can do it now with his help. A tank of either kind is a lot of work, but overall the salt is far cleaner and builds its own eco system over time. Anyway, looking forward to that. Hopefully this year we can do it.

Oh, and we sold Dad's truck and now have enough for Cory to add things he wanted to his Jeep and to get my office floor fixed. We still have some left to put away towards getting me a newer car too. So yay! I have most of the stuff packed and moved out of my office, but there's still some left. All of it has to be out by this weekend. Lots of work, but very excited!!!

- I find that when I have a potty-mouthed character, I try to be unique with their profanity. I like to see if I can slip some profanity past some readers because they just don't know what the words mean. ;) It's a fun little game that always expands my vocabulary. 😆

I'm so glad your move went well. Last I heard you were still stressing out over whether you'd be able to get all of everyone's stuff out of your old house in time. I'm glad you were able to do it. I can imagine the relief you feel. It's always a good thing when you move from a stressful situation into a non-stressful one. Your projects seem like they would be fun to do, painting a door and hunting through thrift shops for furniture. :) Oh, black curtians are incredible. I loved them when I could see and had a migraine in the middle of the day. Mine stopped all light from getting in and it really helped. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you find more of the items you're looking for. :D

Moving is always so stressful. But really worth it to get into a better place mentally.

At my dad's house I had panic attacks every time I could hear him. Felt so refreshing not to have that happen when I moved.

I see Alex as intelligent as he is an FBI agent. But I don't find him to think too deeply on personal emotional things. So I don't see him being too keen on expanding his dictionary of curses.

Thanks! We didn't get all her crap out by a long ways. And Barry - my friend, the new owner - gave her plenty of extra time. He's still clearing out crap from the house itself, AND the three storage bldgs are all still full. She tried changing the lock on the biggest storage bldg, as if a set of bolt cutters wouldn't solve THAT problem. Which it did, quite nicely. Cory and I went and helped once, and cleared a pretty good area. And I went by myself once before that and threw the crap in the yard on the curb. Dealing with all that shit just pisses me off every time and I'm so embarrassed too... just boggles the mind.

That's so true! OMG I feel so incredibly much better now. :) Are you and Brian going to have to move soon, or is the rent ok? I rembr you saying they might be raising the rent.

They raised our rent but we're still staying. There wasn't anything we could do to make the place lower the rent.

- Some characters are just like that. TThey are still fun to write and read. :) Oh, no, I'm sorry they raised the rent. Our landlord did the same to us but this place is still cheaper then any other rental in the area so we're ok. Sorry you couldn't get them to lower yours. :(

- That's crazy. My adoptive mom is a horder. She filled a 5 bedroom house (2 floors) a 2 story garage, 5 out buildings and 3 shipping containers she rented. That doesn't even take into consideration the off site storage she got at the local storage place. I was mortified when I saw how she and my step-dad were living. They literally had paths through towing piles of her hordings. One pile fell on my step-dad and put him in the hospital with cellulitis. I was so angry with her but she was oblivious. I completely understand how you feel like a burden has been lifted from your shoulders. I walked away from that mess and told my adoptive mother I wanted nothing to do with her mess, ever. XD

That is insane! But that's the issue, isn't it? It literally is mental and they don't see the problem. Rox is definitely headed that way. I kept telling her to get what is important first. You know, her furniture, her grandmother's paintings that she loves, her books, her comics.... whatever. Divide down into groups, and throw the rest out or at least get rid of anything broken, stained, etc. There is a definite hierarchy for Heaven's sake. She just would NOT listen to reason and kept saying that what I considered unimportant is important to her. All of the shit was important. It was and still is ridiculous. I have no words and no patience and zero tolerance now.

- And there's no reason for you to have any. If they can't present a cohesive reason why an item is important then it should be thworn away. Period. My adoptive mother used to catch us throwing her stuff out and would tell us that she hid money in the junk to try to get us to stop. I picked up a 2 year old news paper (never read, still in the plastic) and asked her if she stuffed it with money. She said yes. I stuffed it in the garbage with out thinking twice. I mean, how did she get into the plastic cover and seal it again? I do feel a little sorry for them because they just can't help it but come on! *poounds head against the wall. You know, there used to be a show about horders. The host would go into the house and help them throw everything away and get their house in order. I wish they'd done a "After 2-3 years show to show if the horder had learned not to horde or not. I bet most of them went right back to their old ways. :(

That sounds like some of the stupid excuses I've heard. I remember that show. I would love to see 2-3 years after show too! They did have a specialist that worked with them, and of course a team to throw it all out. I really wished so many times I could afford to do that for her (and me!). I told her the mantra so many times... keep, trash, or donate. The keep was always the mountain of course. Very little ever got trashed. I will say that a lot over time did get donated, but she finally got so bogged down that she stopped actually taking the stuff to donate. But she kept it anyway, with the intention to do it. Like they say - the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.

I feel bad because they just can't help it but when it encroaches on everyone's life, not just their own, it's time to get soome help. I'm glad you don't have to deal with it (if you don't want to) anymore. :) I do think you should paint your closet door. Venering it will be a huge pain in the rear. At least, the last time I tried to veneer anything it ended up full of bubbles and I broke down and painted it anyways. 😆
