It's a lot easier once you have an idea to write, I'll admit.

So, yeah, just write to write and eventually you'll come across a story you want to tell.

I have it set to hold the comments of a post when it's over a day old. But that shouldn't be causing any logging in issues.

Oh yes, he's been a lot in terms of initial care but he's pretty wonderful and it only gets easier from here! It's more the work dogs that have been a challenge, and they're not here nearly as long as fosters usually are.

Unfortunately, she's taken a turn for the worse. She's now in ICU and there's talk about revisiting the DNR. We're just trying to hold on moment to moment. I'm praying she comes back from this and they move over here so we can see them daily. It's a scary time.

Slept well last night, thank God. Trying to take today a little easier.

Hi! The floor saga has hit a new snag. After settling a few days, there are numerous places that aren't right, gaps and not perfectly flat - oh crap! But like Cory said we want it done right. Not just live with it and every time we (esp me) see the bad places we cringe. Spent so much money already too. But he said he wants me to love it. :)

The new guy George came in and evaluated and said it had to all come up and be put back down right. But at least the pieces are cut to length and he will be able to use them. Have to get another box of flooring for when some of the planks inevitably break. Getting a quote later in the day and he said he was very busy Monday and Tuesday, but maybe Wednesday or Thursday. If you haven't noticed I am quite impatient! Ugh!!! But it is what it is and I can't do anything about it, so I just have to shut up and wait.

Oh, the color is interesting. The walls are dark brown panelling and I originally wanted a dark floor too. But Cory said we can't match the walls and that would look weird and cavelike even if we could. I thought about it and I agreed. So we went for medium browns. The grain is really nice with varied lighter and darker in the medium range with the darkest color a really pretty reddish brown. I love it! It's much lighter than the walls, so big contrast, and brightens up the whole room. Now if I could just get my desk and stuff IN there...

Me and hubby were discussing having a rabbit as a pet. But we won't be able to have one as the current place we live is WAAAY too small and the rabbit most likely would destroy our flooring.

The birds can fly around to let out excess energy.

My tattoo came out great. On my left upper arm, near my heart and what a great technique she used (handpoke, old school). My arm is not hurting much ten when i go my earlier tattoos with the electic needle and it's healing nicer to.

Wish i could send a pic, but the program i am trying to use is not doing what i want. To be continued

Other then that i was home late on friday afther the tattoo, had to work the weekend with eveningshifts and the time changed here so tired and getting used to the new time. When the clock turns forward i have a hard time adjusting then when it goes backwards.

So glad to hear your tat turned out great and is healing well for you. If you used any red colors please watch over carefully as red can get infected more then any color as I have found out....

My hubby was really messed up with the time change this time around. I don't think I was but it would explain my odd moods for a few days.

Got yet another chapter out. I've never been more stressed out with a character being so right and yet so wrong about a situation XD

- I'm so happy your tattoo turned out well. I'm seriously contemplating getting a tattoo. Problem I have is that I just don't know what to get. I've always wanted one but am too chicken-shit to get it done. I applaud your courage in getting it done. :) How is Meez doing? Is he feeling/looking better? :D - Your son is right. Get it done right and you won't have to worry about it again for a long time. The coloration of the wood sounds very pretty, rustic. I bet it looks really lovely against the dark wood of the walls. I hope the redo goes quickly so you can start moving your stuff in soon. :D - Your m-i-l is in my thoughts and I'm lighting a candle for her. Well, everyone, I've had one heck of a week. First, on Saturday, it was hubby's birthday. He wanted a quiet day so we had Red Lobster and watched "Battlestar Galactica." He had a great time. Then, Sunday, my right shoulder flared up. I could hardly move it. Turns out I'm out of the colchisine medicine. :/ So, hubby called the doc and got a refill. Monday, the tv broke. Hubby was beside himself because he wanted to play splatoon 2 with our son but there was a line of dead pixels splitting the screen in half . Plus, one side was darker then the other. He tried to play but got distracted by the dead pixels and kept boo-hoooing over the loss of the tv. On Tuesday the nurse came again. She said that everything is still going well and that I've adjusted well to my new blood pressure medicine. Hubby bought a new tv. It's a 48' LG with Alexa built in. (squee That means I'll be able to control the tv and can turn it off right in the middle of my hubby Splatoon matches. ;) Wednesday I had a doctor's appointment. She hasn't seen me since way before the recent hospitalization. She was amazed at how good I look and noticed (first person!) that I've lost a lot of weight. I have lost a little over 20lb since last Christmas. I'm loving it because my old clothes are starting to fit again. I'm def keeping up my exercises so I can lose more. My goal is to get below 190. I weigh 205 now. Keep your fingers crossed for me. And that brings us up to day. I woke up late this morning but I think it's because I walked around so much yesterday coming and going from the doctor's appointment. I still feel tired. I really need to move around more.

Alex will eventually mellow out to Alan but right now his wounds are way too fresh. Finally getting to play Alan Wake 2 is helping me write Alex. Haven't been able to play the game since Monday and hoping I'll be able to continue playing it next week.

Got to the beginning of Chapter 2. Saw one of my favorite minor side characters in the game which I won't be putting in the fic as there's really no place for him.

RL is keeping me busy and as there is no event on subeta i am not on much, sorry. School is 4 more months and these are the most busiest as i have to finalize stuff and hand in stuff, oh and do a presentation.

Meez is doing again better, no more biting so that is a plus, now his hair has to grow back. Calling him baldy at the moment hahaha

My vacuum cleaner gave up on me wednesday just after i did the kitty litters. POOF it said... oh my no vacuum cleaner is no fun. Don't have time to get a new one until monday. Just want to go in the store, see them, ask the sales person questions and then pick on. Saw loads on the internet but i get mismatch advice so to the store it is!

And my tattoo is healing nicely, started to itch but that is normal after 1 week. Just need to take care of it as i have been doing so far.

- I'll admit that part of my issue with writing is that I can't use MS Word to write in. Why? Because Ihaven't gone through the tutorial I need to go through to learn how to use it with my screen reader. We're talking WORLD CLASS procrastination on my part there. Now that things are settling down a bit after the surgery and I have a couple months without doctor appointments I should be able to get through the tutorial and make headway on learning MS Word. XD Oh, I love the Alex character. :) I didn't want to leave this in the comment I left on the blog post but, at first, when I first started reading the chapter, I was a bit confused on who the narrator was. First I thought it was Jash. Then I thought it was Saga. Then I realized that it was actually Alex. XD You may want to look at the beginning of the chapter and see if it was just me or if iit does need a bit of clarification. :D

- It's ok, hon. We'll hold down the fort while you're so busy. I'm busier then usual these days, also. I think my busy-ness is due to me feeling like 1000% better these days. I'm glad Meez is feeling better. He'll be handsome again in no time! Oh, I forgot you had a class. How is it going? How are youdoing in it? :) Don't worry, it'll be Vesnali soon. ;)

- Have you considered painting or whitewashing the paneling in your office? You could put a very watered down coat of a light color over the paneling to lighten the room up and bring out the grain and texture of the wood while toning down the darkness. :)

Well, the new tv showed up. omg, It's nice. Hubby says the colors pop. It came with buttons for netflix, Disney+, Prime, and 300 freee tv channels. It also has this thing called "ClearVoice Pro" which makes the dialouge stand out from the music and background noise. I was able to hear everything with no problems. Haven't tried out the Alexa yet, though, because hubby said he doesn't want to turn it on. x.x I asked why... He answered very seriously that he didn't want me to turn off his games because I was miffed over something. Booger. XD

LMAO about hubby worried you'll turn off the tv during his games! Snicker Sounds like he might have a point? :) That's so neat to have a new tv though. Cory got mine up on the wall and I really like it.

Got my floor in my office done FINALLY. Whoo hoo! $2500 later tho! OMG. Cory and his friend Armondo will be moving my big stuff in on Sunday. Can't wait! The color turned out very nice. It's a dark reddish brown, but lighter than the walls, so it works. As far as painting, it's a no for me. I just hate it when wood gets painted. There's no coming back from that. I love stained wood. But actually after my desk/hutch and cabinets/shelves gets put in and I get my paintings sorted and up on the walls, you won't even see much of them. Everything is a different stain, tho fairly close, and I think it will all mesh together and turn out beautifully. <3
