Glad you can get time off to take care of you! healinghugsandvibes
“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.” - Benjamin Franklin
"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
Thank you <3
I will be praying for full restoration of your strength and peace <3
So, it's not vertigo, right? Meclizine doesn't help?
Your HA is very pretty, and I love what you've written on your profile regarding JRR Tolkien. His great primary work is my favorite story and has brought / continues to bring me a great deal of comfort through challenging times.
- Hon, you can whistle at me all you want. :😆 Your paintings sound lovely. I like how you compared David's size to that of his horse. I always find that funny. I also like it when really short people are given very tall horses. It's like, where's the ladder? 😆 (I would be one of those needing the ladder. :P ) It sounds like your office is all pulled together. Enjoy it!! What's your next project?:) As for quests, I was wondering which one of the new quests you do besides Wizard. I thought only the Wizard one worked. :D
- Good thing you called or you would have missed the appointment! I'm sorry you had to call but I hope that they're able to figure out the issue and give you some relief. :D (BTW, I think your birds are just a little psychotic. Did you let them watch "The Birds?" )
- What topics are they accepting for presentations? I know one thing that bothered me when I was a patient was when no one visited me. Of course they had very good reasons but it still bothered me. Another thing that bothered me was when the doctor would talk down to me eventhough they're aware of my background. Could those be some topics?
- omg, hon, I hope you start feeling better soon. Take care of yourself and do some things that you enjoy. I don't know if they have these over there but you may want to find a Rage Rooom and get some of the stress off yourself by just breaking everything in it. If you don't know what a Rage Room is, it's a room full of breakable items that you go into, with the appropriate protective gear, and break everything in it using a baseballl bat or other item like a sledge hammer. Itt costs about $100 for one room full of breakables. I'm thinking of doing one for my birthday as it sounds like fun just to go into a room and break everything you seee (or don't see, as in my case. lol ) I'm sorry you're going through this and I hope it passes soon so we can have our bubbly Lichelle back. :D ❤ If you need anything, just holler. :D

OMG! Not trying to pry, and totally understand if you don't want to talk more in depth, but did you actually get a diagnosis? I'm not a doctor, but that sounds like a physical problem that might be affecting the mind, or they could be separate problems. Have they ruled out the big stuff like tumors, cancer, vestibular disorders, multiple sclerosis, stroke, Parkinson's, or something else like infection, inflamation, hormone imbalance - something else along that line? Any of these can be a huge issue and can definitely cause both emotional and physical changes in the body. All that should be taken seriously and tested for before they just throw out the physical and say its all in your mind! Some of it might be, of course, but... wow. I'm so sorry you are going through this horrible mess and I hope they find something that helps you. Careful hugs. <3
How are you doing? Still feeling okay? I'm so glad for you to finally have something good happen that is lasting. I'm nearly finished. Working on the shelves and I framed or re-framed some pictures today to put in them. Just organizing mostly and wanting to artistically fill them up so they are functional but also look really nice. I have some examples of Dad's work that I find beautiful and they will definitely have a place. Taking my time, trying to choose stuff carefully - editing is a huge issue! I really have too much stuff even after being ruthless and tossing most of it during the move. I keep finding another box when I thought I went through them all. It's like an invisible bag of holding that spits one out every now and then when I turn my back! lol I am really thrilled with the progress I'm making, and now in the final stages though. It feels so good in here. I just walk in and ahhhh... I do have some of these paintings left in here that will go in my bedroom. A couple more Aurora Borealis to go with a bigger one already in there and two with a moon and water in the same colors. A few more days and I'll be done. Or is that wishful thinking? I'm such a perfectionist - who knows? Snicker.
Thank you kind friend
I don't know, omg! Thanks for friending me!
Any fan of Tolkien's is my kind of people. Mae govannen, mellon nin! 💖
- I'm so sorry about your m-i-l. hugs you gently Holler if there's anything I can do to help. I checked my pets and none of them have that birthday. Sorry. :(
- I'm still doing well. I'm continuing on with my excercises and hubby is trying to help me by getting me some level appropriate weights and other items to work with to increase my strength and dexterity. (Man, my spelling is sucking eggs right now. XD ) Today has been one of my better days. Woke up at 6am and listened to the news until everyone else started stiring. Then got up and did my excersises. It really got my blood flowing and I decided to listen to more of a Patricia Cornwell book I'm reading. After I finished that chapter I came out here to find the guys playing Splatoon. So, I jumped on here. If I'm going to be a video game widow then I'm going to have fun, too, dang-it! 😆 How are you doing? Your office sounds very comfortable, and peaceful. I always like the idea of surrounding myself with things my family makes. My Dad didn't know this and had started throwing out stuff he thought no one else would want after he dies. I told him no. That he is to hold it all (all the important stuff, not the obvious garbage) until either me or my youngest can go through it. He is saving all his Vietnam Era letters that he sent home while he was in Vietnam. He even has letters that he recorded on a reel-to-reel. He's going to save them all for me to go through. I also told him that I'm very interested in anything that has a family history behind it. That I'd love to hear the family history behind anything/everything. So, I'm not surprised that you're the same way about things you've found of your father's. Finding that kind of stuff can yank on the heartstrings but also be very cathartic. I'm so happy you're happy with your new office. :D
we had to submit ideas and work them out and we have to give a presentation about that. Our idea was to hand out information about a new resident asap and not wait until 2 days before they come. So we can plan the inhousing better, maybe visite them at home and if needed ask doc, fysio, etc to come and see the new resident asap when needed.
No tumor, etc they did tests and Lichelle has a burnout, the symptoms she is having comes from she is not taking rest and doing to much and some meds. She is having other meds and well needs to take more rest. She wants to recover to fast and her body is saying NO! So more rest. She won't be working again this school year.
I don't speak Elvish but I assume that's the language at the end of your post. I'm horrible at learning languages. I tend to learn bits and pieces because I like how certain words sound.
I'm glad it isn't a tumor and I hope she's able to get the rest she needs :(
One phrase I'm proud of was too crude for the edited version so I had to cut it out :(
Yes, indeed! It is Sindarin which was more commonly spoken around the Third Age of Middle-Earth.
P.S. You are an excellent writer. I don't think I've ever read anything like that excerpt you recently released. It is most intriguing.
Hi everyone!
Oh wow, that is so neat about all the letters during the war. I would want to read them all. My father was so upset with his stepmother. He had all his stuff from both the Air Force and the Navy in a big duffle bag in one of their closets and had intended to go back and get it after he found his own home. He had everything - pictures, medals, pins, paperwork etc. But he just got busy and forgot. And instead of asking him to come get it she just threw it out when she wanted the closet space. He lost everything because she was a bitch. I would have loved to have had all that too. It's priceless and irreplaceable!
Yeah =D
I was right XD
And thank you :)
- That sounds like a good project topic. Here, people don't always know ahead of time that they'll be going to a nursing home so it's treated like any other hospital admission. At least it was when I went to the Physical Therapy hospital that was part of a nursing home when I had the stroke. I've never had the experience of putting anyone in a nursing home myself so I don't know about that kind of admission. My dad told me about when he had to put my grandmother in a nursing home and it was like a hospital admission for her also. Then again, she had GI cancer and needed nursing help for that. Is your nursing home more like an assisted living home or more like a hospital? :D
- Oh, goody. I'll pop over and read it in a moment. If you get another anon comment it was me fighting with blogger again. XD
- oh, that totally sucks. Hopefully, he was able to save other momentos of his life for you to see. I think family history is important. It's how you remember where you came from. :D
I see an anon comment on my fic chapters and I just assume it's you XD
Poor . Burn out is no joke. Huggles.
yeah that is awful. Lost personal and family history is always just ugh.
I brushed Loralea and it was a ton of fur that came off. I need to do it more often, but she is so skittish about it I feel guilt. Though, the cut I got wasn’t from her I am not sure where I got it. Or maybe it was and she was sneaky. Put a bandaid on it.
- I think that's the safest way to go because I've tred to comment in at least 3 different ways and it seems the Anon way wins so far. 😆 ;)
