Oh I'm not veneering. My son has experience with it and volunteered. I will help where i can, but he's the boss. lol I know its more involved, but he said he would much rather veneer than paint. I have to agree. I just hate painting except the art I did a long time ago. :)

- If your son can do it then that's awesome. Veneering doen right looks lovely when paint sometimes just looks like paint. :P Do you have a specific wood you want to use or are you up in the air with that? :D

Waves at lurkers and everyone else Anyone here do any of the new quests on Kumos? If so, what do you think of them? I tried them yesterday and am not sure what to think of it. The various buttons confused me and it ended taking me longer then usual to complete them. I think one way they've made it easier is to contain everything in the same page so you don't have to flip between tabs to complete the quests. Plus, I love that you don't h ave to do 10-15 quests to get the same amount of prizes. :D

I love mahogany, redwood, cherry, walnut, and others, but whatever we can find that the stain matches my dresser I want to use. As far as the quests, I liked to have NEVER gotten to the Kumos ones, and then kept getting 404 errors. Finally finished the Wizard. I love that its only 5 quests, like you said, but it bogged down a lot and seemed too hard for what should have been very easy. I tried the minion one and I just couldn't get through it. They kept wanting the same thing too and then it wouldn't give me my stuff. Ugh. I'm sure it will be better when all the kinks are gone.

- I love those woods too. Pretty much any wood in the reddish/orange range is good for me. I hope you're able to find a veneer to match because it would look lovely playing off each other. :) Oh, no, the only quest that's working right now is the Wizard quests. The other ones aren't finished yet, at least, not that I've heard. I was able to finish the Wizard quests (all 5) today in 10 minutes. That's pretty quick for me. I'm also loving the hightened sp and token pay outs. :D

Sorry i poofed! Worked loads and i was away all day yesterday for a postcrossing meeting on the otherside of the country. 2,5 hours to and 3,5 back. Darn train had troubles, was so glad and tired to be back home. It was a long day!

oohh, i learned something new.. kobo.

Meez is a baldie he is still a cuddle bug. He is doing a bit better, getting playfull but he just keeps biting his belling and hinde legs. I do hope he stops soon.

I love my kobo, if only I can make the audiobooks work right it would be wonderful.

Meez is still bold, keeps biting the same spots, i wish he would stop. He is not very handsome like that. But he is playing more so all in all meds and food are helping now he has to stop biting.

So i am getting a (another) tattoo tomorrow... Wanted a nurse themed one and she did draw some nurse stuff but not to my liking. I decided to browse and do some own art work and she worked that out and i am getting that on my upper arm, not sure where yet. It's a line tattoo. From up to down with signs for: stability, good luck, female enegry, libra (as i am one) and water. Can't believe it's tomorrow...

I do prefer real books to my kobo but it is still nice to have when traveling or going for a visit to family as packing a heavy book is a pain in the back side. Oh congrats on the Tattoo as I have a few too, on my neck left and right. want more but cost is so darn high now that it is impossible right now.

i can imagine that, i bring my book while traveling it is a pain sometimes. I have to, one on my wrist and one on my lower arm. This one only cost me the fees to go to the city where it is, the tattoo is free as she is still learning but she is very good, you think she is been doing it for years

Hi everyone! The floor is almost finished in my office. Yay! It's taken a lot longer and was much harder to do than expected, but I am really happy so far. He has to redo a couple spots and do some final little things. Then add back the baseboards and done. I'll be so happy to get my furniture and things in there. It's all scattered about - part in the garage, part in the shop, some in the den, and my computer is set up on the dining room table. Ugh! :) But I'll still have to wait a couple days to move in my stuff and then huge headache to sort everything and then Ahhhhh. lol Wooo... Can't wait!

So been working for awhile on the roof of the city which is a tiny part of a big Minecraft build. I finally completed it yesterday after around a month.

Happy Spring everyone! I am in fact alive, just so brain dead and tired that my posting has been limited lol

By the nature of my business, sometimes I work long stretches w/o a day off. ATM I'm in the middle of one where I'm working March 5th - April 22nd without a day off. On top of having a full work load for so long, I ended up taking on a new foster pup who needed more help than expected lol. But, I'm totally in love with him so I'm not mad haha. Plus, I'm glad I get to help him. My MIL is also back in the hospital, and now Johnny will likely be going to help his parents 1 day a week which means he's done from wake up to bedtime. I fully support and am actually gently pushing for his parents to come stay here when she's out vs in their town so that we can help out a lot more.

Hoping I can get back to a normal sleep schedule (been sleeping 1 sleep cycle a night for like 3 weeks now and I am exhausted). Then maybe I'll be more active here again!

I love to harass the Physixcal Therapists when they visit. :P 😆 Do you think your m-i-l will move in with you? I only ask because I know how stubborn older people can be when it comes to their independence. :) I hope you're able to get some sleep and a freakin' day off soon. Until April 22? That's absolutely nuts! XD
