Hi all :) I just wanted to pop in and that I'm still around. It's been hard to chat on the forums agains, but I need those forums points lol. We've had a sick household all weekend and i think I'm finally getting what my son had and my husband has.

Oh those days are especially crappy.

I may not be active here, we lost a beloved family member yesterday it's been hard to do much chatting, just missing her.

Bless you and your family in this time of suffering, I hope you are uplifted by all the memories you have of your beloved family member. I am so sorry this happened to you.

haven't you been busy with life and with all the pets, glad they are doing ok. Losing a pet takes time to heal and give it a place. We here in The Netherlands get news from America to and all the things happening now i am glad i am not living there.

I love LOTR been watching the extended versions so cool! Haven't heard of the Throne of glas series i did watch a few episodes of resident alien but i was not getting into it so gave up. They just aired Matlock here with Kathy Bates and i like it!

Heya! I'm hoping to be around chatting more now. It's been busy with taking care of everyone and trying not to get sick myself. I haven't seen the LOTR movies in a while, it maybe time to watch them again!

We have the movies on DVD also. I've tried reading the LOTR books and it was hard to finish even one book. The Hobbit on the other hand, I finished that in a few hours.

I just want this horrible completely unnecessary maximum stress over this move gone. It's been a God awful nightmare caused entirely by Rox and her freaking hoard and unwillingness to get rid of anything. She has procrastinated to stupidity over important things (like where to live! And had people willing and able to help, she just wouldn't fill out the paperwork!) and done it several times, costing me a lot. Won't go into more detail, but suffice it to say after miles and miles of rope, she has finally reached the end and has hung herself with it it. We are no longer friends. It's a shame, but quite telling that I am not upset at that statement. I don't care anymore. Just angry. At least my stuff and cats are here. Still need a new (to me - hopefully I can find a nice older used set) of a dresser and a headboard. Also going to need my floor redone in my office. It used to be my father's, and he put up with it for decades. Sigh I want it fixed, and we already have some wood to finish it that was left over from the rest of the house. Don't think it will really cost that much, but it will be an ordeal. Everything has to be moved out of it and stored with what I need to add that's mine.

The office was created from part of the original garage, which was made into a shop and another garage added on to that. The floor slants and should have had concrete poured to level it, but instead they crafted a wooden subfloor to fix it and covered it with carpet. Over time it has failed. Anyway, have to wait a bit to build some money for it and in the meantime it is a make-do situation with everything in disarray and I can't find things or its packed. Ugh!

hobbit is an easy read. The lotr books are hard, i did read them but took time.

I poofed. It was my mom's 71st birthday yesterday, so after work went to my parents and celebrate. Tonight dinner with friends.

Just letting you all know I'm alive.

I've been keeping up with everyone but I haven't been talkative here.

A few days ago I finally completed writing Kafka's Men 8 which means in a day or two I'll start editing.

Happy belated to your mom. It sounds like a good day and evening of celebration! I do plan on reading the LOTR books again, but I do need to be in the mood for that. I'm going to start small when it comes to reading. It has been a while since I sat down to read, whether in physical form or ebook.

The family is doing better, some left over coughing, but better! I'm suprisingly have not been sick yet, knock on wood lol.

oh you are welcome. Some people just have a knack of making such great HA's and then you have me not sure what to do and have an ok HA. Wish i could create something cool so i could get some more likes, etc.

thanks! It was a long and nice day. After work i went home, chaged got flowers and went over. Cake, dinner and drinks later i was home at 8pm...

Maybe a listening book so no reading is involved and you can listen when you want/can?

I've read the LOTR books at least once...maybe twice. They are dense to get through. Especially since Tolkien seems to continually get distracted from telling the actual story XD

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. It's been a rough 14 months for me. But I hope your birthday is lovely in spite of everything. And thanks. All I can say is that it finally ended. I am in a much better mind set now and some of the stress is still there but incredibly, wonderfully, lessened. And my friend Barry, that I gave my mobile home to, is excited to get going after all this. He really does have a huge amount of work to do, but he did get it for free. lol He's really looking forward to the space. Mine is a double wide with 3 beds, 2 baths, and an office. The one he is renting now is a single wide, 2 bed, 1 bath, and no closets. :)

That's what I'm trying for...

Oh well that'll be a nice change for him! Sometimes I think I'd like a "fixer upper" or "needs work" but then I hear from folks who opted for that and they're always like whyyyyy did I do this? LOL

I am so glad you're feeling better about it all and the stress is lessened! Keep us updated!
