This Sydney Sheldon book it got into a topic I'm not really a fan of when I'm reading. I'm not typically one to DNF a book, it was actually the first book I've DNF'd the whole year. So that's saying something 😂 I'm not going to say what the topic is on here so I don't offend anyone. But I bet she has some other books I'd really like, just this one wasn't it.

Oh no I've read lots of older 80's-90's books and love them! Like I love Rosemary Rogers's books and have a nice stack of them to read this coming year. Last time I was at my local used book store I grabbed all the ones I saw that I hadn't read by her yet 😂 I think it was like 8 books or something wild. thanks! Oh gosh Rosemary Rogers, I remember her books, I read one of her romance series sometime in the 80s. Some wild adventure story with a young heroine whose love interest like, kidnapped her, it was kind of a western too in that he hung around with a First Peoples tribe and also did that hunting/living wild thing, she kept going through wild implausible scrapes, but it was written really compellingly. I was a somewhat naive teenager in some ways and I was a bit thrown by some of the events, honestly, I don't remember much details but it was at least fairly memorable and I read the whole thing, I had to see what happened 😆 One of them was almost certainly titled Sweet Savage Love!

That's the one I read last year!! I loved it so much 😂 Now I have to see if one of them is named that bahaha!

- Kids are busy so I snuck on.) We've made the cranberries withthe pineapple like you suggested. I tasted it and it was good but I'm betting it'll be much better once the flavors meld. :D

- Oh, no! Well, you could omit the pecans. What they did was take the sweet potatoes and bake them. Then they scooped them out and mixed the insides with the maple syrup and butter with a dash of cinnamon (all of it to taste.) Then they put the innards back in the potato skins and backed them until just browned. It sounded really good. :D

- I've had 2 books like thatt his year. One in the crave series and one in the blood and ashes series. Just could not finish them. Now I'm reading a Tad Williams book and can't seem to get through that one either. I'm beginning to think it's me, not the books. :D

I hope you like it!! I just pulled our roast out of the oven. The one we ordered from the grocery store. We also got mashed sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, scalloped potatoes and the baked apple slices. Plus, I had to make some Stovetop Stuffing for Liz. LOL!! As much food prep as I am always doing you would think I could have cooked everything myself. 😘

I wonder if you're going through a bit of a reading slump and just need a little break from it? 😭 I'm sorry you're not liking any books you're reading right now 💔

Oh yeah! The store is mostly stuff from Target, Walmart and Costco. Weird trio, but I do find some nice things there. And today all clothing was 25% of their already low prices. I got a fuzzy leopard print pullover for 5$. Might never wear it in public but will be great for around the house. Lol
