- They may have taken it down because it sold out. The sides sound delicious, especially the sweet potatoes sauced with apples. I may try that someday and see if it actually is good. :D

That was my thought too as to why they took it down. The sliced apples and the sweet potatoes are separate, although it does sound good!! When I make cranberry sauce from scratch I mix in a can of crushed pineapple and it's delicious!

- Oh, hahaha! I thought the apples were the sauce for the sweet potatoes. D'oh 😂 I still think it sounds good that way. Kind of like apple pie encroached on the sweet potatoes. My hubby makes his cranberry sauce with pineapple and a little orange zest in it and it is really good that way. :D

I tired to do silly but it ended up going a different direction. It's still a bit silly though. 🤪

I bet the orange zest is great in it. I get cold sores if I eat much citrus so I don't put it in mine. Although, I have made it once with a little grated fresh ginger and it was good.

We are supposed to be getting a FOOT of snow today. It's bananas! It hasn't snowed this much before Christmas in a few years now. It's beautiful outside but it feels like it came out of nowhere!

I'll keep my fingers crossed you can get Thanksgiving dinner pulled together without too much of a sweat!

- Indeed, it would be. That's not a world I'd want to be in. I'vve gotten sweet potatoes from restaurants with whipped butter and cinnamon on them and they are very good. I think some apples on them would be the perfect touch. :D

Just Google cranberry sauce with ginger. Most of them call for orange too but I make with pineapple instead of anything orange. So yummy but no one but me will eat it in our house.

I feel so sad by those affected! First they announced it would be working by today and now it's Monday for many of those without power. :-(

Staying home having a mellow weekend. Last Sunday my friend brought her 2 parakeets over to babysit while she's out of town and she'll be picking them up tomorrow. Not gonna lie, I'm going to miss them and I keep having moments of insanity and thinking I need to get my own. 🤣They're so cute! Sky and periwinkle are their names and they've both let me scratch their chests. lol I hope you're getting some good rest time in this weekend!

That sounds like fun! I absolutely LOVE the idea of birds but they also scare me haha. I'd be too afraid to hold them at all. I'm not even entirely sure why they scare me but I'm happy to admire from a distance. Watching bird videos on social media is super fun, though, and they look really sweet so I'm glad you're getting to spend some time with them! And who knows, maybe one day you can get a pair to keep you folks company around the house! Having pets is always such a joy. :)

No one in my house like the birds but me. And I was a little afraid of them at first but they're so sweet I'm not now. When I'm sitting at my desk they're to my left about 6 feet away in the dining room so I can watch them. Taking care of yourself is the most important thing and I hope you can get rested up!

Koda would lose his ever-loving MIND if we got birds. But fish could be fun. :D I should put fish TV on tomorrow to see what he does since he loves bird TV so much haha.

Koda is a cat! He's a little gray tabby. He drives his brother, Buck (orange tabby), crazy but we love him to pieces!

Koda is our very sweet but very insane younger kitty (<-- click to see his cuteness... and i have to include this picture too because it's a great illustration of his craziness with those eyes lmao)

He's pretty young and absolutely insane lol he tears around the house at top speed, leaps onto every surface, attacks everything that moves, and eats anything he finds on the floor facepalm

He's also a constant nuisance to our older kitty, Buck. They get along well, Koda is just the quintessential annoying little brother lmao.
