Big agree of the higher defense on Triple. Of course % is still better for the small pets. And I can see my littlest one and the small ones doing very fine with all the revamps. Yet, why are the big pets penalized that harshly? What crime have we commited that deserves punishment?
Is there a specific challenger you feel your being penalized against and can no longer get wins against?
75 Block, 75%-85%ish Chance of Freeze and a small -3% heal (which is pretty small for most pets) is way too OP with how much the BC has changed. Most users have as many freezing scrolls as their AP allows at this point
....a freeze is essentially a full block with 1 turn freeze protection. Compare it to weapons. Are there any weapons that have that high of an activation chance and can be used that many turns in battle? It feels really OP given how many get used in battle.
The freeze rate should really be dropped or AP costs increased which harms lower pets. I wouldn't call removing the 75 Block a penalty.
I don't battle a lot due to missing time. Right now can't say, if the really big challengers are harder or impossible to beat now (esp. for the smaller heal-cap affected ones). I just know, I often use the freezing scrolls' defence for the whole battle. Actually the missing defence worries me less than the still -3% heal, when the weapons no longer absorb that.
has said nothing is set in stone if something is really broken and unbalanced. If it makes challengers too difficult to beat ....i'm sure he would be open to adjust a handful of stats again. For now, we just need to put the weapons to use and see how the changes actually play out in battle!
I think if Shriek and Psycho Smasher get fixed negative heals, that's all they need. sucks about losing the def, but that's kind of the trade-off imo to keep the freeze rate the same.

I agree with that freezing scrolls are OP. I admit it's controversal, but the next thing I'd butcher revamp after the heal cap butchering revamp would be freezing and cursing. It's going to be like a paradigm shift.
Eventually freezing scrolls needs to be changed. Don't know what to yet. Probably to a mix of strong defense, weapon disabling curse, heal, or strong blessing.
For the challengers, same thing. Too many full freeze chain freeze happy challengers, and also increasingly many weapon disabling curse happy challengers. Those moves needs to be heavily reduced too, with the exception of challengers that fits that role, or after adjusting the challenger's stats if the chain freezing and cursing is too powerful. Unlike freezing, currently there's no way to prevent curses with mods.
It's kind of ridiculous that 7 or 8 parched mods is just barely enough, and it's almost necessary to mod and keep that on nearly every weapon, while the other mods seems superfluous.
Overall, changing the freezing scrolls could require a lot of work like the healing revamp, but this time mostly on the challengers because the dynamics shifts so greatly with and without chain freeze in the equation.
Eventually they do is right. It would make it more fair then as well if it means challengers are stuck the same way as us. I'd like to use more crystal types than the tried and true Parched and BONA all the time.

I don't fill my mod slots with parched and bona. I have them on all weapons I expect to use the majority of the fight but not close to every slot. But that could be because I tend to favor weapons that have blessings that block freezing and high enough speed to keep those blessings actively a lot of the time. I may feel differently if I was using Tier 10 weapons with Tier 13 pets against the most difficult freeze happy challengers.

Could SoSS get a revisit on the secondary block or blessing? The added wind block with blessing doing 250 wind is meh :(.
