Oo yay, brats and little terrors. Can't say I miss that, although my youngest still has those brat tendencies and I let her know it. :P
I wouldn't keep looking at how many you've thrown Mieke, it can be a little disheartening if you're going for achievements. :P Plus we have a few months.
If anyone in our system chose to stay virtual they had to take their kids out of public schools and enroll them in a virtual program. The schools had one to give to those parents, but our school system teachers are NOT teaching in the virtual program. (I mean, I think its still a public school style program, but not the same as being enrolled in school building).
We have gone from having over 600 students in my elementary school to under. Not sure how many exactly anymore. It used to be like 620 kids and now I know its closer to 500 than 600. Just not sure on the number anymore. We were told there will be teachers being re-arranged for next year as our enrollement dropped. (example - as in, we have 6 kindergarten classes and obviously since there are only like 12-15 kids per class this year, they are going to drop at least 1 K class and move those teachers somewhere else, possibly even another school).
I am so grateful that my position isn't in any danger of being removed or changed. as I have to agree to it (being an 8hr para instead of a 7hr para they can't move me w/o my permission because it would reduce my pay) - plus our school still has the highest enrollment for PreK students, so no chance of us losing a PreK class - in fact before the pandemic, there was discussion of adding a 3rd PreK class to our school!!!
This change of teachers/classrooms/schools is also why I am very nervous about doing my schooling to become a lead teacher. I will be very careful about which program I choose - instead of a regular k-5 teacher certificate I will be looking to get a birth-5yr certificate - so that I cannot be moved beyond working with 5yr olds - which means PreK and K only!
Hahah - i call all my OWN children my brats/bratlings. I also call them turkeybutts. I try to be a bit more polite about my schoolchildren. But some of them are little terrors.

Was hoping to get results back...but not yet. So went ahead and put in for a sub (never got one for today, they pulled a para from another class to fill my spot).... Hopefully someone will pick it up....but no subs is how we roll this year it seems, everywhere!!

I tried zapping - i didnt' like doing it :P I guess thats weird. I got Flabbergasted so I could zap him...but meh.
Im not much on joining ping groups....dunno why. I've thought about it a couple times for different things, but just decided nope. I have the dashboard widget for it....

Anyway, they added 3 new plushies but I have absolutely no idea how to get them? They say they are holiday items...so were not given out by melody. But are not available to buy in millionaire center or quest shops that I see...they are also not yet listed in subetalodge.... Does anyone have a clue how to get these? Lily is officially quarantined for her birthday tomorrow, should get her results back Wednesday or Thursday. Poor kid. On the upside.. she didn't want to go to play rehearsal so.. here she is? :P

She DOES get to throw an apple at Dorothy! She's very excited about that part, but still mad about being a tree. She really flubbed her audition, but she had a chance to re-try out for a speaking role, of the coroner.. but I think she'll miss it? Who knows.
Lilys boyfriend isn't feeling super well today, so.. whoops. As the doctor said yesterday though, it's not like we invited everyone to a party when people weren't feelign well, everyone felt fine, and we didn't know anyone had even been exposed until after. Sometimes, things happen. And everyone was wearing masks when they weren't eating, and everyone is vaxxed except for one friend.. of course, the one she spent Friday night with at Disney on Ice, too! But I can't feel too bad about anything, we were as responsible as possible.

I have yet to get back over 100 (most times I struggle to get over 30)...the highest I've been was like 260 something? I'm dying to get that achievement, then I won't be so fussed if I miss a day. I mean, I'll be sad my prizes reset, but overall happy once I've got the achievement!

We have 2 kids positive right now in my class. One was at school yesterday, the other hasn't been in since Friday...one tested positive yesterday, the other today. FUN. Hopefully no one else gets a positive test, but we shall have to see...they are trying to figure out if we should quarantine how many other kids - these two sat on opposite sides of the room from each other....We were all wearing masks, and these guys move around so much tho, its hard to say who they were actually next to for more than 15mins. Or if they weren't next to ANYONE for more than 15min at a time!! LOL The one who was tested today spent a lot of time yesterday in my lap sigh We both had on masks, and I tried not to let her stay in my lap for too long at any one time.
[edit] 849pm Ok I think I have my classwork sorted, so I know what is due when. And I think I have figured out how to access each lesson online. Phew. So my introductions of myself to each class are done, and so is my very first music classwork. (I can only hope I turned it in correctly, and if not, that she will let me know, as I added a comment to my submission lol) And joy oh joy, would you believe I whined about how many chapters I had to read in Econ? I have to read SIX chapters in history!! :o whaaat? I hope they are short chapters. I do have until the 23rd to complete all that reading plus the classwork for it thank goodness. And the other sections do not have as many chapters, (nor as much time however).

Work has been hellish, still. I am ready for at least a WEEK of vacation just to unwind from this debacle. Just.so.over.it.
Would love to do some winter camping in a hot tent. That gets a little costly as the wood stoves for such range from 3-500 dollars. The teepee type tents designed to have a stove in them are pretty affordable but there's a new type for a hammock that I would LOVE to get!

We seem to be getting over the hump (work) so hopefully that means I'll be around a bit more. Did some questing yesterday morning and saw that they were still giving out NY tokens, which I gladly took b/c I barely did any questing during that time, and then saw someone almost complain about it? What the hell... I don't see anyone complaining that the Lumi forums are still open and they should've been closed by now. And how about that Free Shop they said they were going to do after Lumi? Mysterious Melody? HAH!!
Oh lucky you. I did quests last night and I didn't get any new years tokens. I would NOT have complained! I still need so much from the shop, not even counting multiples of books. Lots of food for Kayano, because I bought all the stickers, plushies and beanbags already lol Oh yea, free shop. Hmm. All I want is my new plushies from MM :P I don't care about it otherwise lol
Never heard of a hot tent. Sounds nice to be able to have heat in a tent!!! I think I'd still rather camp in a cabin hahah! With a real bed, real floors, and a real toilet. Nope, I'm not a camping person!!
Glad works seems to be getting better. I love vacations, until I realize I need a vacation to relax from being on vacation (when I take an actual real vacation to somewhere rather than just staying home and not being at work type of vacation lol)

hnnnnnggg I got slammed this morning. 😠 Plus I woke up to a lot of heel pain from walking yesterday which confirms I have plantar fasciitis. What an annoyance. Been having it off and on the last couple months and was really hoping it was just from the hard floors but nooooo.
Cabins are nice when you want to relax and I totally get needing a vacation after a vacation. There's so much stuff to unpack and put away and then catch up on household chores. I like the rougher camping b/c all the stuff you do really takes your mind off of the rest of the world. Yeah, the bathroom isn't ideal but honestly, it doesn't bother me too much. Being alone in the woods at night is WAY worse than taking a squat, lol.
What's the battle achievement from?
Gotta renew my fishing license before I forget so that I can do some fishing when I go to a new camping place, hopefully in early May. Never got a chance to use it last year b/c of the car situation.
