Elly has a fancy romper thing that she never wore for Christmas last year that actually fits her, so that's good. And her girlfriend and her friend MIke are all going. I said I'd pick Mike up and drop them off, if his dad can bring them home, so.. whoo.

Let's hope she actually stays, though. Everytime she's gone to homecoming she's left after like 20 minutes. BUT, she really wants to go. And while I don't like her girlfriend (ugh she's seriously awful), Mike is a good friend. Ellys got highhopes, so that's all I can hope for! But now we need to get a haircut Friday, hopefully. Because there's been no time otherwise!

Got an email today saying "hey don't forget to register for summer courses" Umm yea I wasn't even thinking about that yet, thanks. I looked at what classes I need and have absolutely no idea what classes I want or should take next. Guess a trip into the advisor is needed (some classes have prerequisites and I have no idea if I have done those or not....) Also a little confused why my econ class isn't counting for the econ class but is listed under electives?? weird.
And I still have yet to get my student ID hahahaha. Every time I tried last semester it was too late in the day...so I gave up.

Hmmm I also had an email saying if I got my booster shot I could get a $100 bookstore credit. I got the $50 one last semester because I'd gotten the vaccine (Covid). But I really don't feel like the vaccine or booster had done/will do any good, so had not planned to get the booster - but I mean, $100 for school books? Maaaaybe.....

I know it seems crazy early to be thinking about summer classes! The kids just did their classes for next year though so.. I guess tis the season!

Yesterday Levi came over. Today Lily went over Levis, but then James came over. Tomorrow Michael AND Levi are coming over.. I feel like I'm running a revolving door inn :P

Sometimes it's jsut a lot.. like yesterday, we ended up having pizza because we didn't have anything out that we could feed an extra person with. Today was fine because Lily wasn't here so it was fine whatever. And we always plan Thursday to be something we can feed any amount of people with, and dairy free. So that's fine :P

dairy free? any particular reason for that? i have IBS so milk is one of my triggers. Upsets my stomach if I have too much or too often. I miss chocolate milk :( I've thought about trying the lactaid milk to see if its lactose intolerance instead of IBS (I mean, I got diagnosed with that as a child-but havn't talked with a dr about it since -, and it runs in my family, but the milk thing only started oooh about 5yrs ago? So maybe I developed it?) I dunno.....I tried almond milk, that was fine, but the taste was just....a bit... tooo nutty for me! lol

lack toes and tolerant - toooo funny! :) Butter in food is yum. Butter doesn't bother me, yogurt is ok, cheese is fine, ice cream is ok most of the time. Milkshakes are iffy. Milk is bad. So I wonder if its IBS or lactose :P

Just took my quiz AND exam in history. full credit for quiz. missed 1 question in exam. Go me! :) Back to taking notes for music hahah. Then I guess over the weekend I'll move onto the next history module.

I don't really like cheese or yogurt or milk or anything. I only drink a very specific chocolate milk.. it has to be whole milk, and it has to be premixed in a jug, no mixing at home LOL.

Yea, thats why I think its IBS, if it was lactose, wouldn't at least some of the other stuff bother me? I dunno. I LOVE chocolate milk. However I prefer to mix mine at home, with Quick :P I also cannot stand anything other than whole milk! I had to get 2% for a few years when the kids were on WIC and ewwww. I would buy myself a half gallon and make THEM drink the 2% - evil mom - :P

Congrats on the lizards! I find I don't get them as often because I keep my inventory empty most of the time... I got to remember to leave a few things in it besides the trap and spray lol

Yeah, I can't with the 2%. And then WIC went to 1% for Isabelle! No one would drink it, I just gave up on getting it. And we go through like, 3-4 gallons of milk a week! Which is.. insane.

Mine needs to be premixed so it's not chalky or powdery at all. I have very specific needs :P

I am 73% sure there will be no extra kids here today. Lily wanted me to pick her and her friend up from school and drop them off at the friends house, but she didn't do the dishes last night, so that's not happening. I'm going to pick Elly up and take her for a haircut though, before the semi tomorrow.

I'm not going to lie.. I kind of miss the excitement of school dances! Getting all dressed up, long fancy dresses, pictures.. and then everyone kicking their shoes and putting their tiny little purses under the guys jackets in the corner and dancing and yelling until you couldn't stand or breathe anymore. It was always so hot and crowded but so much fun.

.... it wouldn't be fun anymore, as an adult :P I want my space, and air to breathe :P

Yea I think the last 6m-1yr of Nathans I stopped getting the milk or got powdered and made hot cocoa mix! :P I never went to school dances much. I think 8th grade? Didn't have much fun. Opted out of high school dances. I do sort of enjoy going and watching my kids have fun at their youth group dances... but I do not get up and dance or anything myself (even tho other adults do)

Wow. I have not even got to 10 yet, I am close. I don't know that I will do more than that, depends on how much harder it gets. Your pet makes mine look like a baby tho lol

We went out last night and got shoes, a purse, and a sparkly headband thing.

And a sewing machine for Isabelle, because 4H sewing started today.

Dropped Elly off quick at the library and showed her how everything worked. Left her there to run it, then brought Iz and Lily to sewing. Had to go BACK to to the mall because Elly left her phone there last night. Got back just in time to pick everyone up. Thankfully, the library is across from the church that they do sewing at.

Except my check engine light came on while I was driving.

And now Lily is having friends over, or going over somewhere.. id on't know. But either way, people need rides.

And I need to pick up Ellys girlfriend and her other friend and take them to the park for pictures, and then to the dance.

And I'm just tired. And Alex is playing a game instead of looking at my carrrrrrrrrr to figure out WHY the light is on.

Ooops, bad Alex. The car needs looked at!! Especially if you'll be driving around a lot more!!

The bookcase is fairly easy to defeat, but it takes me a lil while.

Yea. Too expensive for us. I'd hoped there might be something we could afford. But the only one was a gel mattress? Nope, no thanks. They did it last year, and again this year, so I guess it raised a good enough amount last year to be worth doing again? He wasn't in band last year.

My dad sent me a valentine. I'm so touched. It was what I needed to hear right now going thru what I'm going thru. (He doesn't know anything about that tho). It was a pretty little necklace, kind of like an infinity band, the words circle around inside and outside (its not in the 8 shape tho, its a circle). And it says "My daughter, you are strong, brave, and you are loved more than you'll ever know" <3

Well he hasn't ever gave me one that I remember. Maybe a card once in a while for random holidays (I do remember a halloween card one year) - He sends money/gift cards for Christmas every year since I've been married/had kids. (he had us for some christmases as kids, and sent gifts others, along with other visits in summer and school holidays). He sent me roses on my 16th birthday. He lives in Utah :) Very far away from me.

He has gotten very much more sentimental as he gets older. (He is about to be 72). I think thats part of it.

I give my kids valentines every year. Or well, I did. Only Nathan got one this time. He's actually gotten 2 from me and 1 from his dad lol - I got him and his dad a chocolate truck (think, chocolate easter bunny type thing) with valentines wrap.....and then today I picked up this cutest heart cactus because he's been into plants lately, and his dad grabbed a thing of "dynamite" hot sauces - valentines packaged...he's also into hot sauce lately :P
