I did find some ideas :d although I need to get a couple of things made that I've already cut the fabric out for first (a pair of trousers, and there's a couple of bears that I'd cut the fabric out form years ago and never got as far as sewing 😊) ;)

ooh happy birthday to him :) Today it was keeping Melody entertained...followed by entertaining Melody, then filling some fish tanks with water, entertaining the puppy, short nap when puppy napped and lastly entertaining the puppy ;)

That is true, changing colours when you knit is a bit easier. :) You could always buy yarn with a lot of colourchanges in it I guess. ;)

that's true, although I never seem to get those colour changing yarns to look quite right when I crochet anything - the colour changes all seem to be at odd points when you look at the finished item :P

That is a fair point, you might need some luck to get the colour changes to look the way you want to. I have seen some really pretty yarn tho that is made that way!

I've seen socks that people have knitted from colour changing stripey yarn, which look amazing (and all the stripes seem to work as well). I think I get on better with the kind of random colour changing yarn though for knitting, rather than ones where you're meant to get stripes ;)

I find socks to be the least fun thing to knit. :P I have seen some patterns for socks made with crochet, so that might be an option. ;) That being said, I don't have much yarn like that laying around really.

we are doing well. She saw the vet today and got her last puppy shot :) so this time next week she can explore outside of the backgarden which I've dubbed the prison yard walk LOL No more puppy jail XD. I've got a harness for her and her name tag is set to arrive today as well.

I'm not too sure how easy I'll find it to work with, but I didn't want to risk having an idea when it wasn't available later in the year laughs It works perfectly with the outfit :D

maybe that's an excuse to get some sock yarn if there's a colour that catches your eye later in the year? ;) I never know how much yarn to get for a project, as my knitting / crochet tension never tends to match what's specified in the pattern anyway 😊
