hehe well, it probably sounds more organised than it actually is! Once I've gone through the last box of oddments, I'll probably end up reorganising it all again, just to make it fit in the boxes a bit better (at the moment, there's space in each box). And of course I also need to sort my patterns, and get rid of the children's ones I've printed off to make things for K, that are now too small to make again! I think sorting the patterns might take a ridiculously long time, as it's a bit like folding a road map - I can never get them to fold neatly 😊

No not really. I got so annoyed i put her on a leash to make her calm down and then put her down for her nap after she had dinner. I'll get her back up at 7 for her last 2 hours of the day and hopefully she'll behave

Ehh, been better to be honest. Stil struggling. Can't focus on anything. Hard time falling asleep due to overthinking things. Feeling down etc. o-o Fun times to be had. Plan on cleaning and taking down christmas decorations today. How about you?

excellent. I've got several projects I'm working on. I'm finishing a fake gingerbread house. I've got 5 more wooden nutcrackers to paint, I've got a cross stitch I started---all from Christmas LOL. I need to finish making the mushroom bag I started for my shop. But its been busy though and I haven’t gotten a chance to work on it

Oh that is a lot. lol I only have the sweater and a crochet blanket I abandoned ages ago. xD And scrapbooks I can work on. :)

I think I'll need the patience! I did what I thought was the remaining bag and box today.... then found another bag that'd fallen down behind things in the cupboard facepalm But at least all my knitting & crochet stuff is together at long last! :D Once I've got that other bag done, I'll have to take everything back out of the containers again, to try and put them in a much more logical way (at the moment things like denim are in several different places, so I'm aiming for them to all be in the same container), although I think that could take a lot longer than just one day to organise 😊

K will be 7 (I think) in March.... I sent him a game for Christmas rather than making anything, but I did come across some dinosaur fabric today - that could work for a shirt for his birthday (especially if he can wear it on holiday in the summer) :D I do need to double check with his Mum what size shirt he would need, as I can't just go on the age the pattern is written for!

The only disadvantage of trying to sort any kind of crafting stuff is that it's easy to spend longer thinking what you could make from it, than actually sorting it and making it tidier 😊 :P

Mels was an absolute dream today. Not kidding. She's been super well behaved. We went to play fetch with a freesebee and it was a blast. She came in and laid on me and just chilled for the next hour. I even fell asleep and then i took her to eat and put her down for her nap :) twas a dream

I also have a long list of projects I want to do in the future. xD

Sounds like you are well on your way to have it all organized like you want to. :D I decided to sort my yarn mostly by brand, and I have one box filled with random things that I don't know what to do with yet.

your yarn is a lot more organised than I think my fabrics will ever be laughs but as long as I can find what I'm looking for, then I think that's as organised as it needs to be ;) I do like the idea of a box for random things that don't have a home yet though :D I got that last bag sorted today, but I decided I didn't want to try tackling putting everything in the right boxes yet, so I've left that for later in the week :P

Yeah, I want to get on with the dino shirt before the fabric looks a bit too childish for him to want to wear! I'm pleased I didn't stick with knitting tops for him though - no way would I have the patience to knit anything bigger than a jacket for a 6 month old 😊

laughs that's one reason why I didn't even start sorting my patterns - I'd spend far too long looking through each one, rather than clearing some out & filing the others ;)

Hehe.. but aren't there any sweaters you would like for yourself? 👼 Or maybe that is just me that has found several. :P

Lets see.. I have a shawl I going to crochet (was gifted yarn by Paddy :), a few sweaters that I really like to have, hats (have the yarn), patterns from my HP knitting book and much more. :) Mum gifted me yarn and pattern for gryffindor socks, mittens and scarf for christmas.

I had some fabric like that at one point - absolutely no idea if it was cotton or what! 😊 I got the last bag sorted (a few more offcuts for the charity shop!), but I decided I didn't want to try tackling putting the fabric in some kind of order today :P So instead of that, I got some of my patterns put in a more suitable box (they were just in small boxes on the bookshelf before), and I've reclaimed the bookshelf for books laughs ....then I got sidetracked with the book you got me for my birthday last year, working out what I could make from some of the fabric I've unearthed 😊 :P

Thankfully I live in hoodies rather than knitted sweaters (which also saves me a lot of time in making them)! Although I will admit that I do sit and admire sweater knitting patterns sometimes ;) But realistically I know I'd never actually get around to knitting anything like that for myself - I didn't even have the patience to finish the scarf I started years ago 😊

Hoodies are super comfortable. :D I can totally understand not having the patience to knit an adult sized sweater. It is a lot of work. :) But worth it in the end I think. :D
