ah, that would make things more complicated, especially if you aren't used to using that much!
So kind of like a KFC type of place?
:d thanks :d I RS'd another couple of those sails yesterday so I wanted to test them out :D

yep no... not really. Macdonalds. THey have chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, chips and so on, just like MCdonalds. oh congrats
ah that makes sense nods
There's still got plenty of things I haven't managed to RS yet though laughs

Hope you feel better today. :hugs: My sis bday part was yesterday and I watched some soccer with my dad afters. :)
Sounds like our schools. Some teachers would teach more than one subject, other would be specialised in one. :) We never had A- level classes or anything like that tho. Teaching multiple subjects is easier during the first years of schooling I guess, rather than when kids get older.
That does sound pretty cool. :D Knowing some more spanish would be fun too. Only know a few words and phrases. :P

i do thankfully. Ooh sounds like a really nice time!
[edit] another one of your pings didn't ping me I've been vending them since I suck at RSing. i love the look today. that pirate hammy is so cute.
The only time we had a teacher for a class that wasn't their specialist one (in senior school) was if they had to cover a lesson when the regular teacher wasn't in. It was always interesting if you had the gym teacher teaching your maths class (as he didn't have a clue about any of it really!) :P
I tried learning a bit of Norwegian on that app - it definitely made it more fun than learning a language was at school! ;)
I think my keyboard is going a bit crazy (the V didn't work on that ping o.O) I keep forgetting about vending 😊 although I've got several things from Carl's quests ;)
Thanks :d I couldn't resist the hammy ;) ooo I love the octopus look today :D :D

It really was. :D Your HA today looks so cool! Kudos. :D
I bet. lol Gym was always my least favorite subject, since I was not fast/good at running or most of the sports they had us play. :P
I have always wondered how it must be for someone to learn our language or even how it sounds to someone who doesn't speak it. There are some words that are the same in both english and norwegian. We just pronounce them a bit differently.

lol guess pinging Raben won't work ;) lol probably cos you can rs :D I seriously am tempted by the hammie but I'm not sure how much I'd use it. why thank you lol. It was fun making it
good :D why thank you :D
I always hated gym, until the 4th and 5th year of school when we could just do whatever sport we liked, so most of the time we either played table tennis or regular tennis :P
I think once you get your ear in tune with how the language sounds, it feels easier to get your head around. But if you can't hear it (like at school when the teacher knew the language, but always spoke it with an English accent), it gets a lot harder to try and get it to sound right yourself!
hehe I just missed the V out completely (thankfully that account is inactive, so they aren't getting inundated with typo pings 😊) :P true ;) I might try a bit of vending though, just to see if I can get those last things I'm needing ;)
RP-Paddy has a bit of a hammy addiction - she's insisting on every single one at the moment 😇
It really looks amazing :D

lol awesome good luck :D hehe thats cute :D :D lol I thought you might be a bit scared of it
oddly enough, I didn't find that one all that scary - maybe jellyfish aren't something that terrifies me to look at! :P
Now that is a classy looking HA today :D

Table tennis sounds like it would be a lot of fun. :D We never had the equipment for either regular or table tennis. It was the gym teacher that picked the activities too. :)
That is true. It was our English and German teachers second or third language as well. So even today I am pretty sure I have a Norwegian accent speaking English. lol But people seem to understand me just fine, so it's okay. It is not like every English person is going to sound the same either. ;)
Ready to head into town soon for a skin treatment. yawns Need to do grocery shopping too after. So another exciting day here. lol

we had two table tennis tables (usually there was only a couple of us who wanted to play that, so there was no worry about someone else playing at that time), and also two tennis courts (there were 6 in total, but 4 were reserved for the younger classes, and the other two were reserved for the top two year groups) which we were also allowed to use at lunchtime & break times :D
That's something I'd never considered as a teenager - when we were told we should speak German with a German accent, nobody seemed to take regional accents into account! Certainly in England, the accents (and even what words are said) can vary quite wildly ;)

I'm so excited! I have done the second and third coat on the cupboards today. I also loaded it up and just have to put the doors and handles on tomorrow and put the curtain rod up and its FININISHED!!!
Paddy: lol go figure Why thank you.
Lene: I see your new ha XD hope it went well :)
admires the skateboarding outfit Are his boarding skills as good as his fashion sense? ;)
😮 Now that deserve a round of applause :D :D :D ....or it would, if my blob army had hands to be able to clap :P
Does that mean you'll be busy sewing next week now you don't have all that painting to do? ;)

-nods- yep XD. and thank you. I did this for a contest and decided to go ahead and use it for the day
haha thanks :) probably :) I needa try to get some more things up in hopes of sales.
it looks brilliant :D
hands you some sales luck I haven't done much sewing other than the Minerva projects, so I figured it was time I got started on some more trousers (plain purple this time, as that's the only suitable fabric I have for that pattern) - I got the fabric cut out, but I might leave the sewing for tomorrow (I still need to figure out a design to try sewing onto the back pocket)

Excellent job. :D I wonder what the next job you will take on will be. xD
It was time for a chage. lol my HP inspired look had been there for a bit. :P Bought a ton of new warm clothes today. Really needed it and found some good deals at an outlet.
I am impressed you even had tennis courts, as you would have to search long and hard to find that in any school hear I believe. lol Sounds fun tho! :D
I would think its the same in Germany, different accents. :) It was harder to understand actual German people that our school teacher for sure. lol I am totally lost if English speaking people use too much slang as well :)

admittedly it was a tennis net across a tarmac playing area that was also used for netball! During the summer term, the teachers would use the main tennis court area to do their practical assessment for driving the school minibus :P
My hardest thing was the speed that native German speakers actually talk! When we heard any German conversations on tape in school, they were always quite slow paced so we never learnt how to keep up with the speed of 'normal' conversations 😊
