Gran's got another hospital appointment (so a nurse can check over how well her toe is healing) on Monday next week, but it's a morning appointment so that'll be better for the car journey (she likes looking at the view, so when it's dark she can't work out where she is). Then two weeks after that, she's got what we're hoping will be a final hospital appointment to see the consultant.

My hope is that once she doesn't need to keep going back to the hospital, she might want to venture down to the communal lounge at home, so she can socialise (or at least see) some of the other people who live in that block of flats ;)

hehe yeah, Cornwall has some really great coastlines, so that definitely would be better than going to a hospital (even if that hospital is laid out more like an airport - it's so big they even have a google streetview map on their website so you can find your way inside!) ;)

That does sound huge! Our hospital has a lot of signs everywhere to help you find your way, can still be a bit confusing. I do remember very well where to ear-nose-throat clinic is by now tho, been there so many times. .P

hehe maybe because I've got just a few more pets than you, so I'm used to needing to squash the pet image in somewhere? 😇 Our local hospital is big, but still feels like a hospital corridor when you walk in (if that makes sense?), but this other one is open plan so it's really easy to get confused with where you need to be. Thankfully for Mum (she doesn't have a particularly good sense of direction) the area they needed to take Gran to, was a left-hand turn from where there's a tree growing through the building (they kind of built a lift shaft style space within the building, so this tree can grow through from the lower ground level), so it wasn't too bad to find ;)
