We haven't been to the Rotary ones in a few years, mostly because... we used to sit on the deck in town and watch them! Too many people on the football field. :P
Morning ☀
I worked too much outside this weekend and I'm still sore. I never sleep well when I'm sore so Monday was pretty rough and I kept dozing off.
It's unlikely I'll do much on the 4th since everyone does their own things now. I am able to watch the local fireworks display from my house and that's good enough for me. Some years back, my brother and his wife were over with a bunch of fireworks and some other people a street over from us seemed to do a battle of sorts w/ how many we let off and what they let off. It was kinda funny and definitely fun.
I believe the difference is the types of carbs.
I rarely watch any sports. Some football on occasion if the mood hits me. I might watch some of the winter sports in the Olympics if I catch it but that will be about it.

Is there a frenzy of buyers the closer it gets to the end of the event, or does it slow down?

I saw your pictures on FB Kat, that's some crazy stuff!
you always look so adorable!

Hi Mieke! How was your trip? And thank you for the compliment. This is my "I'm tired and just wanna cuddle w/ my kitties" look. lol

Weekends and the 3rd and 4th are usually waaay busier. We are slammed the 3rd and 4th (think black Friday shopping...). Monday-Thursday it is hit and miss. We have very slow periods and very busy periods and then sometimes we just have a slow trickle all day long....
I agree, Taarna has some adorable outfits!
Thanks mieke! We do keep busy and have fun at Grand Assembly!!
I love lighting my own fireworks. Miss doing that.
Selling them would be kind of fun, too. People are always excited to buy fireworks. :P
And thank you for the outfits compliment. <3
[edit] You got a forum point while making a post! Check out the shop here!
YAY!

I'm mentally preparing for the Quest a Thon, lol. It's always inspiring to see people post what they accomplished, even through their busy days, and I'll be posting my results.
Gonna eat and then do some quests. Probably just Shinwa and Wizzy.

It was really good! We went to the aquarium one day, and the beach one day.
Alex wanted a seafood buffet for Fathers Day, so we went Tuesday.. to the tune of $365. I literally choked on my pancake at IHOP when he said that.
Whatever, I don't care really. But like.. TEENAGERS, man! :P
We will not be penalizing users for using forum groups to store their sP.
That is from the news post. How do you do that? Because I would love to be able to do Sarah's quests for the questathon. And the only other way I know is to trust a very good friend to hold and trade my sp back to me....
GASP wow that's a lot. I'm sure he enjoyed it!!
It was a lot. I almost died. It WAS really good, though!
The girls did pour painting tonight at the library, it was pretty neat!
For forum groups, it's like a cult bank. I think if you click on the hashtag, you can see it?

BUT I'm not sure if you can get it back out without the leader doing it? :/ Seems like a lot of hassle, just to do Sarahs quests!
OK wait! "If you create your own forum group you can deposit your sP in order to work around the Sarah sP restriction, then withdraw it again once you've completed the quests for the day."
So that's a better option, just make your own, then you know it's safe.
I got sleepy after I ate yesterday so I ended up taking a long after work nap. :P
I think the only time the sP donation into forum groups were helpful was when they were more cults and it would get used to buy event prizes and such. Maybe some groups still do that. I don't know. I left mine awhile ago after my sister from another mister passed away.
Why is everyone wanting to do Sarah's quests? I can't remember what she gave when I first started.
Hump day... blah. Wish it were Friday.
Sounds like a great time, Mieke! We don't have any all you can eat seafood buffets around here... too far inland. It's expensive enough just for an occasional meal. Teenagers... I can't help but to snicker about when that time comes around for my oldest daughter so she can see what she was like. :P
