The combos for all the flowers have been figured out, so I'm going to be entering the notes with flowers. Just letting everyone know so there isn't any duplication of effort :). It may take a while to get them all done.

Well that took less time than I expected :D!

All requirements are entered and I tested each while I was entering them (cause I needed to make them all anyway) so as long as I didn't make any typos entering the stuff it should all be done.

PS if anyone needs flowers for the bouquets I have extras

hai hai, so I made a group because helpfully commented to let me know that the fetus pop items got name and description changes (on a board that was then locked) and I realized there's the item use group for when items get a new use but not necessarily a group to ping for items that get fixed in other ways that don't get a news announcement:

item change group - I linked her to it since she seems to catch a lot of these and told her she could ping that group and then at least she doesn't have to hunt up who works for SL haha. I'm hoping maybe we can encourage staff to ping it if they change names/descriptions/etc on stuff that doesn't get either a news post or an itemuse ping since it's not changing uses

Also while I'm here and doing things - y'all I am bad about making sure CW mask items get the Masquerade approved note haha. I'm working on rectifying that right now but does anyone know if r200 masks in the hat layer are approved for masquerade?

I figure you may have the best chance of knowing this haha.

[edit] I just realized that there's a lot of non-CW masks that don't have the note either. Is this something we want to upkeep or should we let it go?

99% sure they are. Every time anyone asks for clarification, the answer is always "everything with the word mask in the name counts." We know its not restricted to the face layer because there are approved masks in the held layer for certain.

Okay, we have a lot to update then for both cw and non-cw items haha. That is going to be an undertaking for another day as I didn't realize we'd let so many go lol

[edit] Okay yeah, I think that tracks for what I was seeing that didn't have the note. If we don't have to remember for folks that's a lot better for us haha. I'm happy to try to update them if we want to get current but I defer to the decision of everyone xD

Oh yeah and there's this item, specially a masquerade item that has always counted from the hat layer. So yeah, I don't think layer matters.

I think we either need to add them - or remove the note completely. Having the note on one item and not another is confusing.

Can delete notes automatically somehow (they should all be the same wording)? If it can be done, then my vote is to remove them and make a note on the news announcement when masquerade starts that people are free to use any item with the word "mask" in the name - official items, CW items, items on any layer, even stuff that doesn't look like a mask.

I very much hope that there's a way to clear that note out entirely somehow and just stick a news announcement because it's definitely going to be a pain either way to fix - I just checked and there's 30 pages of results for Mask with "Masquerade approved" as a note.

: I can write a script to remove the masquerade-approved notes from those items. Are there any approved masks that don't have the word mask in their name but remain approved for legacy reasons? (I don't know of any myself.)

I got a message at SubetaLodge. User Aries has managed to login to the forums, but gets an error message when they try to login on the main site.

: Whoever set up the site originally had separate passwords for the main site and for the forums. I'd like to get that simplified, but it'd be a mess, because some users also have different usernames for the main site and for the forums and I don't know how to link them easily.

The Subeta user Aries has an account on the main SubetaLodge site under the name "Riles". I've temporarily set their pw to "may16th". That should get them into the main site, and then they can set their password to whatever they like.

If they want to change their username on SubetaLodge from Riles to Aries, let me know.
