I understand people will be people. It is so hard to stop being human. We are hardwired in tactile, not covering our expressions and breathing as we are designed to do (without masks) I am always mindful but I am over the fear mongering. We have a lot of elderly in our community. I can go back to do their lawns for them and tend to their yards and help carry heavy things. Of course with respects where hygiene is concern. What do I do when a gentleman puts his hand out to shake, make him wait while I whip out the hand sanitizer or put more gloves on? Neighbor across the road is looking forward to a game of chess. Do I get out the chemicals and spray clouds of it for him to inhale? I find it hard too Judy, having to question your every move you make. It causes me bad anxiety. So I take some a little time to get my thoughts back into some sort of order, and remind myself breathe, and I take a moment to put my bare feet on the earth for that is my constant :) 🌹

when the COVID19 just started, at least when the world started responding to it months later (I heard China had it for many months before other governments responded), they said here to NOT shake hands and kiss, and an older person (probably my age! LOL) put his hand out to shake mine, his grandson stepped between us and said "grandfather, remember we are doing social distancing" and I think I took a page from his honesty (rather than think of it as fear). I smile and shake my head and say nice things and do not embrace. And I was known (when I was young and had a larger community, such as college) to hug EVERYONE. Not criticism! Just how I work with the precautions myself. It's lovely that you can be helpful for the elders around you.

What’s your favourite movie genre? I haven’t seen any of Hitchcock’s actually. I think I prefer thrillers over horror sometimes. Like sometimes paranormal and all the blood stuff can get weird or just seem fake, if that makes sense. I loved the movie Parasite, the one which won the Oscar. Was super good.

You can make your own ties, but it's a little tedious (this is why I wanted the bias tape maker gadget, it made it look so easy!). Just cut a 2-inch wide piece of fabric to the lengths you need, then fold it in half length-wise and iron it. Then you fold each side inward and iron it. I did that for one of my sister's masks because I didn't have anything that matched the lilac/purple colors I had.

: Great Joke! I have friends who have been accosted by such sales people at their doorway. One guy sprayed some cleaner on the door threshold to show how magical it was at cleaning metal and broke the door when he slipped on the spray and smashed his head into the door. He ran off and was never seen again. And the spray corroded the metal threshold. If I want something I go to market! Sheesh!
