3 out of the 4, more than I need. That last one is not a requirement.

Only until they are adopted out.

Hmm, PBS is showing astronomy episodes. Tycho Brahe...I only remember how he died, very unbecoming.

Lots of pictures under here. Step by step on how I make my masks! So what I've done is cut 2 pieces of fabric 7inx10in plus fusible interfacing. I iron on the interfacing to the fabric. I also cut 4 pieces of bias tape. Two of them are 16in(top) and 2 are 15in. (bottom) You can probably go shorter with the bottom ties because your neck is narrower than your head! You'll also need 6in wire and bend the ends into a loop. Now start sewing with right sides together from the bottom middle to the first corner. Turn your piece at the corner and sneak your first short tie in. I showed it sticking out so you get the idea, but I don't leave it that way. I tuck it in so the edge is flush with the fabric. Then you sew all around, putting your ties in each spot. I like to make sure that the open part of the bias tape is facing down, but it really doesn't matter that much to be honest. Make sure you leave about 1.5-2 inches open at the bottom so you can turn it out. Here you can see it sewn all around with the bottom open. I reinforced the straps by stitching outside the main stitch on all 4 sites. (I know it's hard to see it). Make sure to cut your corners! Now that it's turned out, you can insert your wire. I use the wire to help me push the corners out! Make sure to position the wire at the top of your mask! Now carefully start at the top corner of the mask and sew about 3/8 of an inch from the edge, making sure the wire in snug up against the edge of the mask. You don't want your need to hit the wire! Sometimes if I'm 3/4 of the way on that edge, I'll lift my presser foot with the needle still in and push the wire back away so I can finish sewing without holding my breath LOL. I really only do that if I didn't bend my wire straight enough and it's wanting to curve into the path of the needle! Finish sewing all around the edges. The bottom edge you should do 1/8in because you want to close that hole! I do 3 folds in mine. I find that 4 is challenging and not really necessary TBH. I stitch about 1/8in from the edging stitch on each side. I finish off by sewing the bias tape because I've found that when they get washed, the bias tape will start to fray. You can use a contrasting thread color to add interest. I also tie the ends. And there you go!

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!

Mine own memory is just as faulty, something I did twenty years ago is still clear as a bell, but last night is 404.

After Vioran Soldier leaves, I'm changing UN again. So I have ten weeks to choose.

: That is amazing! Great work on that! I wish I had a sewing machine. (I also wish I could sew...and cook....and....) I saw someplace where some folk were sewing HEPA filter material from vacuum cleaner bags into the masks with the reassurance that that material was durable enough to withstand repeated high temperature sanitizing in the dryer. Any thoughts on that? ( I'm not sure about washing such material...)

Hi guys. I'm not ignoring your pings, I'm just not able to play right now. I had a pinched nerve flare-up back on the 1st, and have been in such pain that pretty much all I'm doing is medicating and sleeping. Any computer activity hurts, so I'm keeping it at a minimum. Hopefully I'll be well whenever Vesnali happens! Hugs to you all!

OH MY GOSH! Thank you! I totally cannot see the difference! LOL 30 years ago back when we lived in Ohio, my husband had someone from the Volvo plant (factory) come to work with them and everyone called him John and Avi (my husband) called him Yahn and when Avi asked him which he preferred and I can still hear my husband telling me Yahn siad (with a Swedish accent) "It is sa same ting, no?"

No, this one is mine. I wanted just the scales and a skin, but then I couldn't leave it naked. The skin that I used had a bit of a scowl, and none of the wardrobe mouths were in the right place, and then the eyes needed a bit of fixing, the hair turned up by accident in a search fr something else, and I couldn't leave it in a barrel because that would be too cruel... LOL

I love it! Thank you! It's not too hard to breathe through with interfacing? I find I pull mine up often because I can't breath after a while. Israel put out a warning that the N97 (for dust, heavy duty) should be used for that reason, people are finding them too hard to breathe through and touching them often. I wonder how long this will have to go on...

I was sure the Virus would disappear in the summer, but you all had the summer first. What is the COVID19 sitch over there?

I saw some of those with vacuum bags. Curious. Yay! Congratulations! won!

Speedy recovery!

Thanks for the gift and the inspiration it provided!

any other coloured mohawk ideas or suggestions? I couldn't find grungy-gray or dirty-ish purple....

: I saw a really good demo on how to make vacuum cleaner bag masks, and apparently those bags are the same kind of material that the actual hospital masks are made off and they are indeed washable. Now if I only had a vacuum....
