I feel the same way , too drained to comment/react or say much. My depression hasn't been in check in over 6 months, and the last 6 weeks have just served to amplify it all. I finally got into a clinic my doctor has tried unsuccesfully to refer to me to before (they rejected for no apparent reason in the past, much to my gp's frustration) so hopefully I can begin to address this, but I'm definitely feeling it all extra hard right now.

So... today my best friend discovered that there is an issue with bed bugs in the building & the exterminator needs to spray in his apartment at the start of May. I'll be helping him prepare tomorrow... he wanted a break tonight. We got in a tiff on another subject... I'm trying to let it go so I'm not grumpy with him tomorrow. He needs my help & support, it's just tough when part of me is frustrated at him. Hopefully, I'll feel better & have energy tomorrow.

I've wanted to play Stardew Valley for a while now. The reviews of the CatTails game I play says that it is similar in style and gameplay. (I adore CatTails!!)

I completely understand where you are right now. I do hope you are able to see the doctor and feel better. (My doctor is trying to make leave the house to sit in the yard once a day, and I'm having a hard time doing that, so. . . I do understand!)

It's an open world concept where you inherit your grandfather's farm. You fix up the farm and get to know the townspeople and win them over. You can also, fish, mine for jewels, or go monster slaying. It's a little simple, but relaxing and charming.

I haven't heard of cattails before, I"ll have to check it out!

Thanks for the heads-up! I've still got to wait two hours, but hopefully I can snag the book! Stardew Valley and CatTails are PC games that you can buy through Steam or their online site. I prefer PC gaming to console gaming, myself, but CatTails is also available for the Switch.

Yeah, the weather here is still too cold for sitting out most days (we've had the dubious honour of being the coldest capital in the world a few days this week), and it's been grey and rainy a lot too making it even harder. On the few mild and sunny days we've had I've tried to spend some time on my front porch trying to catch the dying rays of sun before they disappear or I get too cold (my property gets next to no sun, there's maybe a 30-60 minutes where the sun actually reaches my porch)

Can't wait for consistently nicer weather, although it will also make it harder to stay in much! LOL

I had a nice two hour long soak in the tub today while listening to podcasts and having the cats take turns climbing onto my chest, and snuggling for a while. Both of them drooped their tail in the water without noticing, lol! I feel a little bit restored.

Ah okay. Very cool :) I'll have to check them out!

There's nothing like a good soak in the tub! Too funny about the cat's tails ;) Our weather isn't looking too great with the exception of tomorrow, which is gonna be sunny and warm. After that, it's rain and some snow. I'd like to start cleaning up my tiny front yard and get it ready for planting!

I think I became a little too rote in my zapping my current lab rat, Sephrilian, I went to go zap her today and promptly burst out laughing when I saw this:

LMAO I love her! I may make a new lab rat because sometimes I end up getting something really cool and I can't bear to zap anymore. The last pet I was zapping was Zaranth and she turned into this awesome mech dragon experiment that I didn't know existed!

- love Stardew valley!! <3 Haven't played in a hot minute due to Animal Crossing, but when I do eventually get on my xbox, I play Stardew all the time - even though I've technically beat the game by achieving everything that can be achieved. I'd been thinking about starting a second farm but then Animal Crossing came out and I've been so obsessed with it.. I've been playing the series since the start <3 Now if I could just get two of my rando villagers to move out i'd be all set! One is just a pain in my behind and the other seems to be constantly be arguing with my other residents - and giving them fleas :( time for her to go! lol.

If you go to the Darkside you can find the lab where the Zapper is. Make sure to read the warning at the top of the page! Although, you may want to attach a cheap minion because the zapper can give you an exclusive minion not found in the pet shop!
