So, I got an email today. I did not get the job :( Oh well. I'll just keep looking. Thanks everyone :) On the plus side, I get to still keep working with one of my favorite people, even though we don't see each other right now because we have staggering shifts. But, when this covid stuff calms down, we'll be back on the same schedule again.

I'm so angry right now. Someone at my work came to work on the 24th, knowing that a person in her house tested positive. She exposed 75% of us and didn't tell anyone until after the fact! Now I'm on quarantine for a week. Why she felt the need to come to work and not tell anyone is beyond me! Oh well. At least I have plenty of food, and plenty of projects to keep me occupied!

I've been making masks for friends, family and coworkers. I'll probably make a bunch more. I do have a couple of crafting projects I need to finish. My sister's birthday is coming up quickly and I have an old shovel that she wanted me to paint a scene on for her. I suppose I can do that.

In Green Bay, our cases have skyrocketed. We have several meat packing plants with lots of people testing positive. People are still protesting everywhere.

These past few days have gone by pretty fast. Short summary: -got exterior help for my friend. he's also going to stay at his mom's when the exterminator comes... I just need to get my stuff out of his apart & then I'm taking a well-deserved break from all his craziness. -another friend that had moved out to her parents has come back Fri since she's starting work tomorrow (Mon). We're keeping a distance, but we've gone on a 1 hr walk... we're planning on doing that every few days :) It's nice to have her back. -my cook/cleaner will start work again this coming Tues. Finally some relief! -I found out today that my community garden is opening on the 18th of May. My gal friend that moved back is going to help me with the garden.

There's a lot more but I just wanted to focus on some positive.

About the job not working out... things happen for a reason. Maybe something even better will come along ❤

About getting stuck at home... well at least you'll have more time on your hands. You do such amazing art projects :)

I signed up for a fitness challenge from a local gym. We'll see how I do. Workouts are not an issue, it's the food I have a problem with lol. Hubby is a chef, and I love his food!

So I bought to put into my Gismo gallery... and because I'm exhausted, I clicked the button to put it into the plushie collection & then clicked the confirmation button automatically not realizing what I had done until it was too late, eh he he shakes head

People kept calling today... I wasn't even able to rest in the afternoon. I'm beyond exhausted & I was searching for tax slips... can't find them. So, I've stopped searching and will continue Wed. since I have to prepare my apart tomorrow morning for my cook/cleaner that is finally coming back after two months off yay. Organizing my grocery delivery for tomorrow (the store gathers the items & a volunteer brings it to my apartment door), receiving an emergency basket from the food bank, asking various people to take a large amount of what was in the basket since I can't eat most of what was given, doing follow-ups with various people, discussing issues about getting my paperwork done to continue getting a rent subsidy, getting a delivery of 5 frozen meals from an organization I'm with, etc. is what I was dealing with today. oh la la me tired.

Having a chef as a hubby isn't a problem... I'd just throw out my expectations of losing weight & enjoy the food :D
