Sorry for late response. :) Been busy all weekend, My 11 year old niece stayed with me since Friday. They just picked her up. We have made a mothersday card (today is mothers day here), been to the movies, chinese restaurant, bought her a book, played mario and watched movies. xD Properly spoiled. lol

It could but I think it’s just a matter of getting to know each other. It’s a lot all at once too. Mum and dad have to go up to Atlanta tomorrow so I will be here as the cats and dogs don’t need the stress of all of us leaving for 7 or more hours, as well as everything else.

She’s tried a lot of jumping and climbing so It wouldn’t surprise me honestly.

I can't blame you on that one ;) Hopefully Amelia and co will behave, so you can all enjoy having the house to yourself for a bit ;) Although the winds were definitely strong, there's no tree damage around here (well, not that I can see from indoors at least :P) - other than the river probably bursting its banks in the centre of town in the next week or so (and that's a pretty common occurrence this time of year anyway - they're now making designated flood areas where it can flood a garden / park area rather than going across the roads :P) I think we got off lightly. ;) And we're far enough up the hill for the river to not be a problem for us directly ;)

Only problem with that is that you wont be able to sleep as much as you want or need. lol

Yup. ;) Being an auntie is the best. You get to snuggle and spoil them with fun things without the responsiblity. :D

that's near enough the same as my Gran said about being a granny - you can enjoy the fun parts, then send the kid back home to their parents for the 'not-so-fun' bits 😇

Nope. Amelia was a pain in the butt and Maya got into the garage. I had to lure her out with tin cat food. But after that she was better. Amelia was clingy all day and snapped at both Baxter and Maya.

So I put some pictures up, opened a few boxes. Need to locate some other ones since I’ve got things missing. O.0 But it’s taking shape in my room. Mum and Dad went to ATL today for a doc apt and they got some fish for me. So I got more fish in my tanks, which makes me happy. I discovered my 10gal was also damaged in the move (big surprise right?) so they got me a new tank and set that up and have some fish in it as well. Next week mum has an apt and this time I’ll take her. I’m excited as I’ll be getting more fish as well as some fabric XD.

Here's some pics and 2 videos of Maya. I'll have home pics and tanks up soon. First meeting sushi collar XD doesn't like her cone asleep on me playing in new cat bed and this one i took tonight. She loves this pink mouse and plays with it for ages until she knocks it into my closet or under the telly stand. She'll rescue it from under the stand and carry it somewhere else to bat it. It's hilarious. I have to retrieve it from my closet at least twice a day. so cute (might need to zoom out to see it all.)

Awww <3 :melts: She is just adorable.. looks so soft and snuggly. Already loves her mama. :D Pusur always get his toys stuck under the sofa or something. He wont carry it away somewhere else to bat it tho. lol

OH MY goodness gracious that kitty is so cute! Her eyes are an arresting color of gold - it is stunning! Also that last video of her playing with the pink mouse toy is beyond fun to watch! She is so cute how she was perplexed with where it went behind that "wall"! How cute and fun!

Im not going to ask how Maya got into the garage! But at least you lured her out ok :) That's a shame Amelia wasn't as settled as you'd hoped, but with a bit of luck she'll calm down and be less snappy with the others, so they can all get on well together squishes

there’s a door into the garage from the kitchen. I needed to get into the garage for something and Maya ran into it. I really hope so. Amelia’s on prosac so hoping that will fully mellow her out. I was so ticked off about my tanks being ruined. –sighs- I am happy I have a gorgeous tank that’s bigger than I previously had even though it’s replacing two tanks rather than one. Honestly we weren’t sure where I was going to put a 10 gallon and a 20 gallon in my room. The 45 is stunning. I love it!

HAHA yes, I’ll need to get her some more toy mice. She’s very sweet, with a loud purr.
