or even worse, when the bag falls over when you haven't touched it (and aren't stood anywhere near it)! I'm sure my room has a resident gremlin that just likes pushing things over when I'm not looking :P

I'm in the hotel. Yesterday and today were very long and labour intensive. Today was a hellish day for mum and dad and some for me too. Especially emotionally. Nigel's not looking so great. Not sure if it's stress or what.

I wonder if the hotel room maybe has some smells that are freaking Nigel out a bit (even moving Sparky into a different room so the heating engineer could come and service the central heating meant Sparky freaked out as the lighting was different to what he was used to o.O). Hopefully things will settle down once you're all moved into the new place and all the familiar furniture is where Nigel expects it to be ;) squishes

I had the opposite problem over Christmas - I lost weight so the gremlins have been letting out my waistband so my trousers don't stay up all that well! 😊

Thanks guys. I am distracting myself as best as possible with the dog who can't be left alone in the hotel. Went to petsmart and have found a furry friend i would like to adopt. They come at 6pm so i will go back and see if i can take her home. Lucy has been Snuggling me which is also nice.

yeah. Mum and dad are here now and we own the new home and sold our old one so that's something. I'm trying hard to focus on other things but it's been very hard. how are you?

That is impressive, loosing weight over christmas! With all the big christmas dinners, cookies, candy etc I always have to think I am gonna have to be good during January and be healthier. :P

it was unintentional though :P We didn't have 'proper' Christmas lunch last year because we'd all had health problems in early December - we thought we'd just postpone it and have Christmas lunch in late March instead :P

Yes she is. Well... yes and no. Officially, yes, I did. But I have left her at the charity's shop in Petsmart. She'll be picked up on Saturday or Sunday. She was spayed and her incision needed a vet to check over, I can't handle more stress so I let them do it, even though I really, really wanted to get her home. It's also best if she's not bouncing around and gets to be in the house and not hotel, house and store.

today was an utter nightmare. I broke into sobs randomly... the movers smashed things with great care, asked to put things but felt overwhelmed where it all goes... it was just... hell.
