laughs that's about how my morning restocking attempts have gone - either I catch it and there's only a small number of items in total (mostly older ones), or I miss it by 30 seconds and all the potentially decent stuff has already been snapped up :P

Yeah, all the times i've seen it (3-4) i've missed it, and there has been only one in stock, even when i am catching a brand spanking new wave - so I'm going to assume I would have seen it if it stocked more.

That's actually where I got my copy, Carl. XD Today he was a turd about Frey items, but he coughed up a Sun Blob Plushie. Hopefully that'll net me a bit of cash for my pocket. XD

that's even more annoying than not ever spotting it in the shop!

I'll have to either butter him up a bit, or just hand him lots of booze in the hope he passes out after every quest 😇

Unfortunately most of what he asked me for today, was caffeine - I think he was a bit too aware of what he was handing out :P

I made the mistake of just going for things - and Red Sky at Night had lingered through the first two items I grabbed and I saw it after i'd clicked on a third - and of course after that it was gone. XD

if that was yesterday (or possibly the day before) then that was most likely me who nabbed that one :P I was surprised to see it still sitting there when I turned up a while after the restock ;)

Though i did have someone I was Rsing with (talking to and about the shop while working on Rsing) and they were basically like "Nike...did you grab X?" and I had to admit I had indeed snatched it from beneath their fingertips. XD

Just missed this latest restock because of running my mouth. It's usually why I end up sticking to discord. I dunno why it seems faster, but I rarely miss and RS while chatting there. I blame subeta. =0P

Whatcha mean? I usually chat about nothing and everything and then chime "Restock" ....we both go silent while trying to snatch all the things - then we can compare what we got and what we saw. I do a version of that on discord, but they're on their own to catch restock. XD

Yeah. You know the items are getting suuuuper cheap and the market saturated beyond belief when anything lingers. XD

I think I'd be concentrating so much on talking that I'd forget to restock.... or would be glued to the shop so much that I'd forget to talk :P I think I need to have the Subeta clock floating rather than at the top of the page, as a reminder to keep checking back to the shop laughs

oooh. Yeah, there is a particular....I don't know how to describe it. You let yourself wait, without focusing. I go back to the shop at about 40, 45 till, and refresh until about 5 after. Then I go putzing around for a half minute. If I have someone to talk to, I sometimes don't always go putzing around, because it gives me something to do so i'm not bored. Then again, I had a friend who threatened to get me a piece of brick wall for Christmas so I could argue with it instead of him. =0P

....that floating clock would be amazing!

the worst thing is when you realise because you have several tabs open and haven't refreshed the page you're sitting on, the clock isn't accurate - I end up going to the shop at 20 past the minute quite often 😊 laughs

Yeees. I don't understand, if you're on a page. and it is say 1:00:01, how X seconds later it manages to be Y off...shouldn't it be able to count accurately? -.- ...that was a small stock

nods it seems like the more tabs you have open, the more lag the clock ends up with - even after a minute it can be 8-10 seconds out, which can be the difference between a restock and missing everything! And that doesn't count the lag my computer has started doing since the latest windows 10 update (it randomly freezes for a few seconds) :K

I still managed to nab five of this year's items from that restock though - I guess because they were cheaper things, nobody else really was too fussed about that one :P

That is one of the [i]MOST[/i} frustrating things, because it means you [i]HAVE[/i} to go back and time touch on that page with a refresh ...I'm pretty good at judging it, as long as I don't get too sidetracked. XD

Also, ew on the randomly freezing! Poor you for having to deal with that frustration!
