Aw. Cheep cheep is a cute name. Much better than D.O.G. (Pronounced, of course "Dee-oh-gee" - yeah, not kidding) when the family came in and I asked how "Dog" was and they corrected me. I know I stared right at them for a good couple of seconds. Plus, still as a six year old better than the Golden Retriever named Goldie and the Chesapeake Bay Retriever named, of course, Chessie. ...this is like calling your kid "Kay-eye-dee" or "Child" ....

ROFL now that's creative for D.O.G :P but I would say Goldie and Chessie are pretty neat names - considering I named my Hamster "Hammie" (and that was when I was 19 so I couldn't use age as an excuse 😊)

My timing seems to be really out so far today - I've missed every restock by at least a minute 😊 so I'm going to go and get some sewing done and try RSing again later

She's usually an equal opportunity butt-planter, but she usually prefers to be on your left, so somewhere between your butt and your knee when sitting. Monster lives up to her name when dealing with the other cats, but she's nice to humans. XD

Goldie and Chessie ARE cute. If you're not a golden or a chesapeake bay retriever. XD ....I wouldn't have any idea that Hammie for your Hamster wasn't a nickname for Hamtaro. =0P

I'm too tired. I think I'm a little burnt out, between Damon and hitting freya so hard the other day. I'm tossing in the towel. XD And I've now discharged most of the duties I was supposed to get done, so it's a shower and bed for me.

Hopefully you'll feel more refreshed after a decent snooze :) I got my sewing project almost finished (working on a pair of cord jeans - got them done apart from the dreaded hems), but I need my Mum to lend a hand with pinning the hems as I can never figure out the length on my own :P

...Oh, go you for being productive. I have been rubbish about that. SPeaking of hems, I was given a nice pair of jeans I need to hem or have hemmed. They fit, except they're about five inches too long. XD Even on three inch platform flip flops they end up under the shoe (I tried every which way to not have to hem them. I would have taken these decorative studs to pin them in proper place, but I couldn't find any that I wanted for sale.)

well, my productivity stopped when it came to pinning the hems - I jabbed myself with the pin a few times, then just hung the jeans back on the wardrobe door to come back to tomorrow :P That sounds like me with shop bought jeans - they're usually 4 or 5 inches too long :K I guess turn-ups aren't you're thing, otherwise that'd be a way of avoiding needing to sew the hem yourself ;) But decorative studs sound like a neat way of getting the hem up without having to do it the 'normal' way :D

nods but I think you'd probably have to cut off half of the 4 inches first though, otherwise they might be rather bulky on the base! I've got the opposite problem on a pair of jeans I made earlier in the year (and still haven't hemmed yet) - I was trying to squash it all onto a yard of fabric, and they're a little short to add in a regular hem 😊

Yowch, that's a lot worse than catching your hand on a pin! 😮 That's one reason why I avoid using the 'open-toed' presser feet my machine came with - there's too much risk of getting my hands that close to the needle 😊

To be fair at one of my previous jobs, I sewed a LOT of urn bags, never had an issue until I tried sewing half-asleep. XD

I think I might just take it to someone who knows what they're doing. XD They're nice jeans and I don't want to mangle them.

Very good point - that's the main reason I never did the hems on my shop bought jeans (other than ones that were really cheap, which would've cost more to get them hemmed than the jeans cost in the first place :P) ;)
