also, those three bears I made from the Christmas fabric I had for product testing were mostly forest too :P Not too sure what's happening with those yet (Mum was asking, so I don't know if she has an idea for them ;)) but they will be on the fabric shop's blog at some point before Christmas (I've not been sent the exact date yet ;))

thanks :D :D I caved in and bought the bg from a user shop so I had to try it out laughs :D And I'm ridiculously pleased with how that brown bear came out - that's the first time I'd tried making a bear from that style pattern (not counting the very first attempt when I couldn't find the instructions so I was winging it :P) :D It's a load easier than the other patterns I've used before ;) I'm still surprised those three bears look almost identical seeing as whenever I try making two of something (two gloves, two socks) they always end up looking different laughs

Is it possible to cut the two socks or gloves or whatever at the same time so all the pieces are the same size? I know it is so tricky to get everything all the exact same! Or do you mean to knit them, because that is also really really tricky!

whoa, that's a late time to get back! Have you got a couple of lazy days planned to get back into the swing of things without too much extra hassle? Yep, Mum named the bear Frank - because of his blue eyes, she wanted to name him after Frank Sinatra :P Dad went on a shopping trip today, so I asked him to stop off at a fabric store we don't have in town so he could get some white fake fur fabric to match, seeing as I want to make a polar bear as well laughs Not sure how wise it was asking him to buy fabric but I sent him with a picture off their website, and he sent me a photo of his shopping bag so I hope he got the right thing! :P

nods the pieces start out the same size, but after I've sewn them they usually end up looking different laughs it's worse when I tried knitting them, as that could end up wildly different by the time I'd finished 😊 In the end for the sewing projects, if I use patterned fabric I try to have a different bit of the pattern showing on both - so the back of the hand for gloves would look slightly different.... then if they aren't identical in shape it doesn't matter 😇

Yea I tend to only make things that do not have to look the same on both sides or two identical things. OH your idea for the patterning of the fabric is brilliant. I think that would work splendidly. :D

It also saves fabric if I don't have to 'fussy cut' two identical patterns on the pieces ;)

yesterday was a long ass low sleep day. The animals were being buttheads and I couldn't get to sleep until like 4 am and was woken at 7. Dentist is done but it wasn't the best checkup. I will need to get two fillings. Also have to be careful as my front teeth are losing calcium and may result in needing to to be filed down and crowns placed. I got an expensive toothpaste to help. Theres some more watched areas they added too. And lol adding to my fun... i dropped my cell and the screen protector shattered. It wont stay on. So we'll have to order me a new one. Hope you are well

The screenprotectors I have tried have all been the kind that has adhesive and you just stick them on. Cant get it right still. lol

I can see you sending him off to by fabrics and stuff more often now. 👼 :D My dad is kinda sweet, He knows the names of knitting techinques, and even has a preferance for which one he thinks looks better for knitting arms on to a sweater. lol I guess that is what happens when you are married to someone that is constantly knitting. xD
