Having warm clothes is kinda a must around here. xD The wool shirts and erm.. pants (?) that I have under my jeans or whatever I am wearing are very soft too and comfy too.

Our weather is definitely crazy / crazier - it looks like we're meant to get snow Saturday - Wednesday, with a maximum temperature of -2C on a couple of days o.O .... then Friday next week is meant to be 10C :P

Sparky is.... more normal in that he's eating and since Mum took the mirror away, he's not sitting with a toy on his back like he was, but still not 'right' - his poop is more 'off' (even for him, considering it's never been normal compared to any other budgie we've had), and although he's chirping it's almost like he's forgotten all his words & phrases / whistles. When he comes down to the seed hopper, it's like he's seeing it all for the first time (the way he was staring at the hall floor yesterday seemed like he could see lots of crawlies scurrying about.... even though there was nothing different there at all) o.O If anything, I'm more confused about him now than I was before!

laughs well that's part of the way there ;) I think for me, the hardest thing with a blanket was joining all the squares and tying in the loose ends.... I don't have the patience for that! 😊

So much for cold weather today - it's currently 8C :P but they're still saying cold for tomorrow, so we'll see what happens ;)

Sparky seems a lot more himself today - he's still not saying words (despite what Mum says (that he doesn't talk usually), Sparky should be saying words), but he's been more active in his normal way (rather than that frantic 'can't settle' style earlier in the year), so I'm hoping whatever his problem was, that it's resolved!

Tying in the loose ends is the worst! I tend not save it until the blanket is joined together and do it after I have made a handful of squares. Makes it a lil bit better.

that makes a lot more sense, and I guess it's even better if you've left enough yarn on the end of each square to attach it to the next one without having to worry about tying in too many really short yarn ends ;)

I made a granny square blanket when my cousin had a baby, and did the math on how many I had to tye in. I ended up with several hundreds. :P She loves to crochet herself, so she could appreciate how much work went into making one.. which is nice I have to admit. :)

😮 I would've given up at tying them in, let alone trying to figure out how many there'd be! That's one reason why I tried making my granny squares larger (and with less colour changes) laughs

But that definitely helps when you're giving it to someone who can appreciate how much effort goes into it!

The squares were quite smalll, with colourchanges.. so yeah. lol I ended up doing the math from curiousity basically. xD It turned out quite cute tho. ^_^

So today I decided that I didn't play my PS4 enough to warrant keeping it and it was best to sell it before the prices dropped too much with the ps5. So I traded it in. I managed to get some great deals and I bought Mario Tennis Aces (you can play swing mode and it's quite fun. I think it'll help tone those flabby arms of mine,) Mario and Sonic Olympic games, (there's tons of sports games on it and the demo was a lot of fun. There's motion control options here too so I think it'll be a good one for getting active. Not sure about the work outs yet but any little bit helps, right?), Fitness Boxing (this one's rather obvious that it's an actual fitness game lol. I played it and it's pretty cool) and the new Super Mario world with another game called Bowser's fury. I pick that up on the 12th. It is so cute. You can play as Mario--the cat. -giggles- I'm excited about that one. I think I did well. 3 games rated pretty highly for fitness/exercise and one just playing. :D

Well got a surprise outing yesterday. We got a totally unexpected call and wound up going to Atlanta. Apparently, even though it was only 4 days our glasses were in. So we scrambled to make a quick outing and off we went. I like these a lot more than the old pair and they are so much lighter!! I also can see better. Having to take them off for short periods as I've not been used to wearing glasses all day for over a year. (that's been a major problem for me with the old pair.) so lol gotta get used to them but I really like them so much better. Well American's call them long underwear, thermal underwear, long johns... it's cool i knew what you were saying :D I was planning on things for friday but was too zonked. I'll be building one of dad's new furniture on Monday.

Sounds like you got a good selection of games. :D I have to agree, the mario cat suit is adorbs. xD There is even a Meowser (cat like bowser lol). That game is on my wishlist as well. :D The mario 3d collection is awesome too, mario galaxy is a great game (one of the games on it)

Today Sparky doesn't seem as sorted as he was the last two days - he was squawking like he'd hurt himself when Mum was putting the seed hopper back in (he was nowhere near her, and didn't appear to have caught himself on anything at the time), then he went onto the bottom of the cage while the tray was out, and took a lot of attempts to fly back onto the bars to get onto the perch. Certainly since yesterday morning, he's hardly eaten anything (again) as there wasn't any sign of husks in the hopper and barely any seed had gone.

My aunt added a layer of fleece too, on the backside. :) I started on it planning on making a pillow, and ended up with a baby blanket instead. lol

Mario Maker is cool actually, I own it but havent played it a lot. You can make your own Mario levels and play the levels other people make.
