most of our neighbours here are good about giving us our mail. I've had about 3 or 4 times someone's brought it over for us. Who knows o.0 todays ha is super cute :D
I'm sure I will <3 everyone is doing well. Little Annie is just the cutest thing ever lol. and Maya's been adorable lately too--and then a terror because she can be LOL
LOL That sounds like cats for ya. xD Pusur has been exceptionally clingy, and more kitty kisses than ever. Other wise a big couch potato.
You should be able to get it all done then in time I would think. :D
Sounds good! We have a plan then. :)

you've got pretty good neighbours then! Usually in our road if a neighbour gets post for someone else, they tend to put it through our letterbox rather than working out who it is actually for o.O
I thought I'd let RP-Paddy have a play.... mainly because Niamh couldn't decide on what she was going to wear! :P
Fingers crossed! If not, then I might have to give Dad his card on New Year's day instead :P

awww bless. little tyke misses you.
HAHA well I guess at least they are sending it to someone :P
My friend still teases me about how I would complain to her that my "cat doesnt like me". Its kinda funny now seeing how affectionate he is.
That would be fine too. :D I am already looking forward to christmas dinne and whatnot. Yum! :)

hehe that's true ;) I guess we're unusual in that we know most of the people's names in the street (or we did until 5 people moved house in the last few years :P), as I don't think our next door neighbour even knows our names (as she was one who put a card in the door last year that was delivered to her, but was meant for someone entirely different) :P
what do you have for Christmas dinner?

Pinnekjøtt! :) Which translates to stickmeat. lol Sounds silly. lol But its lamb that is dried and to a varying degree salted and smoked. A layer of twigs from a birch tree is often placed in the bottom of the pot which will allow the meat to steam more than it is cooked. Served with rutabaga puree/mash and potatoes. :D Based off very old traditions.
Whats for christmas dinner at your house? :)

that sounds really tasty :D
We used to have pork with roast potatoes, brussels sprouts, carrots, sage and onion stuffing, and gravy ;) but this year I think we're just having a normal Sunday lunch instead (despite it being a Friday!) as Mum doesn't want to try cooking the meat herself laughs So that'd be ham with mashed potatoes, sprouts and carrots.... and possibly some stuffing if what we bought last year is still ok on the date :P
I do have a couple of 'proper' Christmas lunch ready meals (much the same as we used to have, but with turkey instead of pork, and a chipolata sausage with bacon wrapped round it) sitting in the freezer though, so that might be my Christmas lunch :d

That sounds really tasty as well. :D We used to have pork roast for christmas dinner, with crackling, which I also love. :D
My is picking me up in a couple of hours, so wishing you Merry Christmas for now! Hope you and your family has a wonderful time. :)

oooo crackling is definitely yummy! :D I decided I couldn't wait for Christmas Day, so I had my Christmas lunch ready meal today instead laughs ;)
Happy Christmas! I hope you have a great time, and that Pusur behaves himself! :D

I'm getting my way back into Subeta :D I've been spending a lot of time roleplaying on Dreamwidth.

hehe and she should :P I remember that now -snickers- you used to always worry he hated you <3
my dad seems to know most of our street but I don't know anyone really... then again we haven't had much chance to meet because of covid.
the family that bought our house know who we are and have our address but haven't bothered to forward things to us. my dad tried texting them when David sent my bday gift there on accident. So it definitely is nice that even though she got the wrong people at least she did make an effort. It bothers me as we bent over backwards for those people. We let them in on several occasions and let them work on the yard/deck even though it woke us up and they can't be bothered to put our forwarding address on a label and send it back out? They could've sat it in the mail box in front of the house. It's like....20feet away from the kitchen door...
ooh that sounds nice :D
that's a great HA-less outfit today! What's the background you've used?
Well, someone a few doors up from us, moved less than a mile down the road. The person who moved into their place said it wouldn't be a problem if there was any post sent to the seller's old address, as they'd either put it in the post box (about 20 yards down the road) or drop it straight into the door at the seller's new place. They had post for the seller, sitting there for weeks before the buyer's Mum came and dealt with it o.O
And yeah, covid would definitely have made it harder to get to know anyone (or even to know their names!). Hopefully 2021 will be a bit easier, and you'll get to at least know some of them in the street (even if it's just a quick "hello" as you go past with Amelia) ;)

oh thanks :) I've had it on for a few days. It's
o.0
I hope so. LOL I'm replacing my journal even though it's not full. I don't want anything to do with 2020 lol so buy old journal. THere's an older lady who waves when you drive out but i haven't seen her in a bit. I don't actually walk Amelia. I use the back garden for her to go in.
well we'll just pretend I spotted it a few days ago and recognised it anyway 😇
I can't blame you on that! ;)
Maybe you could do a little card or something in the new year for the older lady if you haven't seen her in a while (assuming of course it's possible to put it in her letterbox while wearing gloves - letterboxes over here can be a bit fierce so you can get the glove stuck inside 😊) - I know Gran always appreciated someone noticing if she hadn't been out in the garden like she would normally have been ;)

lol deal xd
Theres only mailboxes here so that is possible. She'd probably like that.
:P
Mailboxes definitely sound like they make it a lot easier! ;) We put a cardboard box for post in the porch so the postie has been quite good at making sure the porch door is shut once she's put the post in there (it certainly works better than her trying to fight with our letterbox!) :P

yeah :D they are. There's not a lot of letterboxes in the US that I know of. You told me about that lol at least they use it. We put a little table by our door for deliveries and mail that they bring to the door, but sometimes we still find it on the welcome matt o.0 It's right beside the doorbell...
whoa that's a snazzy HA today! Another new character, or just a new look for an old one? ;)
Well, we do have a piece of bright orange paper in the box with "post" written on it, so in theory it's pretty obvious.... although the postman just lobs the letters onto the floor in the porch :P
