No its being mean lol. I wish the weather would cooperate. we are getting around 1c tonight. But later it's like 10C and then back to 0 C o.0 It's annoying.

I'm enjoying the sketchbook prompt I got for Christmas. There are some pages I don't like the suggestions. so I've come up with alternatives. :D Read below for the day yesterday.

oh lol it wasn't fun at all :P But that's okay. First stop was Warby Parker for looking at glasses frames for me. I found the pair I want but I need to go to the doctor first as there was an issue with the diabetes that came up in my exam. I need to get that sorted before I can get my script accurate. Then I can call them and order the new glasses. Anyway after there, we drove to the Sam's club (its a bulk warehouse) as the tin cat food was not in any store here because of the shortages with covid. Then to the petsmart near it, for other items we'd have to ship... then to the petco and Petsmart in the next city for the other curbside pickups I needed. We had lunch in the van and then went to British store for our order. We bought a bunch of bangers for the next 3 months to freeze. Then it was driving home. I had only 2 hours of sleep and it was exhausting. We got home around super time and I was a zombie for most of the rest of the day lol.

That does sound like a lot! hugs Hope you got some good time to rest afterwards. I have no idea what bangers is tho. lol Apparantly something british. :P

I got a stain yesterday on my new wool shirt that I got from christmas. :( Couldnt get it of, so I am gonna stop by the shop here to see if I can buy a stain remover to get it off. :fingers crossed:

Sounds like your weather really can't make its mind up! Apparently it's 4C out there at the moment, but there's a really cold northerly wind so sitting by the window (which just so happens to be north facing), it's really cold! Still no sign of any snow though, and they still think it'll get warmer next week.

Whoa, that's one heck of a day on Saturday! That was a positive finding new glasses frames though as sometimes that can be one of the hardest things (especially if the fashionable style is really horrible!) ;) I think I'd have been asleep all of Sunday after a day like that! 😊

hehe yeah, although not being able to get outside doesn't help if there is snow, but at least I should be able to take some photos :P I felt the same with my drawing & calligraphy - having a daily prompt makes things a lot easier (although there's a few of those that I'm skipping this month, as I don't really 'get' the sentiment :P) ;)

Not a normal thing, no. :) The building I live in doesn't have a basement/underground level, like the building next to it. Which has a garage and storage rooms. :)

Ah, that makes sense - I think most apartment buildings here don't have an extra storage area at all, if you don't have a garage for each apartment.

Renting it out sounds like a good plan - certainly around here, people rent out their parking spaces as it works out cheaper to rent a space and walk to town, than park in the council's car parks!

Yeah I found some great ones to replace the stupid ones I didn't like LOL. I searched creativity prompts rather than drawing as lets, face it, my drawing is terrible. I'm great at painting in comparison but I'm ghastly at getting most things to look good if it's just drawing.

I found some great prompts. ONe is make a collage out of junk mail which I thought was a cute idea. Another prompt I found was tear little pieces of paper up and make a mosaic out of it. Another was draw something with a crayon and paint on top (creating a resist.) And another one was cut up words from a magazine/news paper and make a poem with it--then paint around it. A drawing one I thought was cute was to take found items near you, trace them and then make them into animals :D

It looks great, and even better worn together :D :D

Most of mine have been lettering prompts, so they give you a word or phrase for the day to letter in whatever way you want - but some of this month's "positive thinking" ones are phrases that annoy me (or ones I don't really understand) o.O

Those crafting prompts sound really good :D The newspaper poem one could be quite challenging, but also could give a great result :D

The wool sweaters I got, have come in handy now that we have temps around freezing. :)

laughs Sparky definitely has that down to a fine art! He's been redesigning his cage again today (he unhooked the plastic ladder and threw that on the bottom of the cage, sat on the cuttlebone and bounced that out of the clip so that's sitting on the landing perch (thankfully not on the bottom of the cage this time) and also managed to unhook the iodine block, so that's sitting on the cage floor as well!)

hehe true it's gotten cold on some days but not enough to warrant a sweater here.
