Sorry been busy. I made new masks for the family the last couple of days. Been trying to finish the scrapbook room. Today our freezer finally arrived. Its up and running. Had to wash it out, mop floor, wash floor mats, move frozens from old freezer to new one...

Paddy no she hates the floor. Can walk on it well at all.

Yay on the freezer arriving - hopefully that didn't take too long to get to the right temperature before you were able to put all the frozen stuff in there :D That sounds like a mega busy time though - did you manage to get the scrapbook room finished in the end?

That's weird - unless they can use their claws maybe? I'd have thought they'd slide when they're running! I wonder if there's anything you can do to help Amelia with that... other than putting rugs down everywhere she needs to walk!

I am super worried today as my bestie has cancer has had surgery today. Basically to see how bad things are, and remove parts of her body that is affected. Been trying to distract myself as best I can today, while I wait to hear how things went. >_< Fuck cancer! 3rd person I truly care about affected. Thankfully my mum and uncle are okay. I am hoping my friend will be too.

It's 18 years for me on Neo (although during that time I did leave and come back laughs) - that's making me feel really old seeing as I was still working when I joined Neo on that account!

You have seen neo go through a lot of changes over the years then, even more so than I have. :D The first acccount I made, I managed to get frozen by being curious and checking out a link on the boards. Yes, not the smartest thing I have ever done. I didnt loose much as my account was pretty bare. It worked out tho since I like my current account better. :)

Its a good start tho. :D And its not like there is a deadline anyways. ;)

Just got an update.. she is doing well. They removed any visible cancer cell, but will undergo chemo to be sure everything is taken care of. Which is the best news I could hope for. :D

:nods: I def. know better know than to let curiosity get the better of me. lol I laugh today at some of the things I used to do when I first started playing. :) Like spending 20 minutes a game on mynci volleyball for a 1000np payout. :P Reselling red eyeshadow for 50np profit.. At least I later learned to snipe codestones and eventually graduating to sniping more expensive things. ;) I didnt know to read the news either.. so I probably missed out on some stuff that way. :P

:nods: I also find when I am writing articles.. my mind is working on it, even when I am not actively writing. Like I'll think about what to add, how to phrase things etc. :)

I never got the hang of restocking. My computer and connection always seem to be too slow. ;) And I lack the patience. ;)

whoa, that's definitely a lot that have had problems with it! It's much the same as my view on it (Grandad has had two different types of cancer although thankfully he didn't have to have chemo, only radiotherapy).

I learnt how to restock on here - Keelhauliday is my favourite for restocking, as the time of day I'm online tends to be quite quiet ;) Once it gets later in the day everyone else is trying to restock there as well, and I'm just not fast enough!

The thing I find hardest about a pet profile though is getting the graphics to look 'right' - it always looks better in my head than it does on the screen laughs

I am sorry that your grandad had to go through it as well! Its scary to get a serious diagnosis like that. First it was my uncle, then my cousin (that I used to spent a lot of time with growing up) and now my friend. Its def. a lot!

I wouldnt know what is profitable or not on here. lol A lot of the time I wouldnt on neo either and you dont really have the time look up prices when you restock. lol

I think its probably like that for a lot of people when working on creative things. :) You have to try to not be too critical of your own work, which is not always easy. :)

I got some good news last night.. they were able to remove all visible cancercells. She will have to get chemo therapy to make sure they get everything. But things are looking good. :)

admittedly when I rs on here I just go for the newer items - if it was released recently, it should still be really profitable to restock ;)

We've got a "new" (well, it was Gran's) fridge freezer coming when Gran & Grandad move house, and Mum's still concerned it won't fit the space even though she's measured it multiple times already! That could be it. I guess as well, she's a lot taller than the cats to maybe being further off the ground makes her feel a lot more unsteady on a shinier surface?

That is a good tip. :) If you can sell them fast I am sure you can make a nice profit off them. :)

:nods: I am the same way whenever I knit, crochet or scrapbook. Its rarely perfect enough in my mind, but sometimes you gotta let good enough be good enough. :)

and if I can't sell them fast then either I have a pet treasure chest that needs it, or my wardrobe / gourmand pet is wanting it laughs
