not that long LOL hope the walk is nice and have fun with the laundry lol
Haha! I love his line of logic and reasoning for the shirts. Some of our schools here had polo shirt uniforms as well; I like schools with a uniform. Maybe they will get t go on a holiday that is closer, but still enjoyable, I hope. :-) Ah yes, hand stitching can be daunting and annoying to have to pick out so you can re-do. I found that my jeans didn't do well to being stitched and re-stitched if I made a mistake, since the holes were kind of big (though I was using embroidery floss/needles).
Yea, so far so good. ^^ I'm not above level 9 yet in pain on an average daily, so that is great news! How are you doing with recovery?

I really really extremely want:thaats good its going lol. I'm walking a bit better except my knee isn't cooperating some times. other than that i can't complain.
You needed the rest I am sure. :)
Your leg healing okay? I just finished my walk and dinner. Nachos.. was so good. lol

I guess. I think so. It doesn't seem to be as hard to walk on as my other leg was. Nachos sounds yummy.
That sounds good. :)
It was. lol indian food today. xD Doesnt sound too bad either.

that's one heck of a long nap! But then again, hopefully the more sleep you get, the faster you heal up ;) I hadn't expected her to be that active overnight! Hopefully your Mum is feeling better now? squishes
Ironically, if they spent out on new heaters, they'd probably get more people coming in to watch the matches, so they'd get more money coming in too - but I guess they just don't want to risk spending out on something that might not get them much back ;)
They're saying that 'non-essential' shops here can re-open in 2 weeks' time, although hairdressers and cafes / restaurants still aren't going to be able to open then.
By the sound of it, my cousin and his wife (and K) were meant to be overseas on holiday this week as it's their wedding anniversary - so maybe that's what she meant when she said "an occasion to wear it" ;) Back in primary school (5 - 11 years old), we didn't have a uniform, but in senior school (11 - 16 years old) we started off with a shirt & tie uniform with the older two year groups allowed to wear a sweatshirt. Then they changed it when I was just about to start my last year, so that everyone wore a polo shirt and sweatshirt. Thankfully once I was in the 6th form (17 - 18 years old, and the final bit of school before you could go to university), we could wear whatever we wanted, as long as it was smart :P
There is a way of closing over needle holes in fabric (as my boss taught me when I worked in a fancy clothing shop) - you hold the fabric either side of the hole, and move your hands in a circle.... not the easiest of things to explain in writing, but according to my boss, it's meant to relax the fibres which means the hole closes over ;) I'd managed to get that to work on shirts when we'd taken those bulky security tags off, so it does work pretty well on most things ;)

i've had curry, that's about it lol.
yeah, one of the longest naps I've ever had. hope so too Well cats are more active from dusk to dawn. According to pet md "Cats are crepuscular -- which means that they are most active during the twilight hours of dawn and dusk. They tend to lay low in the darker night-time and day-time hours, when other predators may be hanging about. Some cats may be active at night as well, especially when they're kittens."
I think she's a little better but I think she needs to see a doctor. If I can convince her to go that is :/
I think you are right about that. :) They tend to rather spend money on signing new players etc. :) More people might go during those late season games tho if we didnt have to freeze our butts off. lol
Here all of those are open at the moment. Gyms will open in some time too. Then again at the moment we have under 40 people hospitalized for coronova virus, which isnt a lot compared to many other countries.
You oughta try butter chicken or tandoori chicken sometime. Even tikka masala. :drools: And garlic naan bread on the side of course. xD

Thinking about it I think it might be tricky with your allergies. o-o

That makes sense, although I think some of the cats around here need to read that, as they seem to be really active when it's daylight, then don't seem to be about at sunset or later ;) I can see why she wouldn't want to be going to see one - I guess they don't do home visits (and probably if they did, you might not want them coming into the house anyway?)?
It always seems a crazy amount of money going on players, especially when that player might not even get to play in the first month or two after they'd been signed! Whoa, that's a pretty small number! I'm not sure how they're planning on reopening gyms, as anywhere you'd need to share equipment like that, would be a lot more challenging to sort out.

it might be tricky. Plus I don't know of anywhere that sells it.
cute ha :D
well they are still active lol just less active ;)
nope no home visits and wouldn't want them here anyway
I just googled for the most expensive football players and found this gem: Neymar completed his move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain for a staggering fee of €222 million in the summer of 2017 and the big deals haven't stopped since, with Kylian Mbappe joining him in Paris for €145m plus €35m in bonuses.
That is not even mentining their insane salary. :)
I dont see exactly how they can open them safely either. I guess distancing and excessive cleaning at least. :)
That is surprising, since indian restaurants/take out is so popular! :)

I think most of the cats round here just fall asleep at sunset :P And speaking of sunset, I love the HA-less HA today :D I guess then, at least the decision is made for you on having to go ;) How's she doing today?
😮 jaw drop how on earth do they pick the amounts these players are "worth"?? I think it would help if their salaries were cut to a more realistic level (for the premier league ones certainly), then they might come across as being more human, rather than coming across as better than everyone else (not all football players, obviously, but that seems to be how a lot come across, either intentionally or accidentally!) ;)

Well never really looked for one to be honest. Apparently we have 2 in this city but we won't be going out yet so don't know if we'd try it any time soon.
haha possibly. thank you. FINALLY got the wardrobe to cooperate for 10 minutes I love yours too the dress is purdy ;) she didn't want to go so I was overruled. She seems to be feeling better at least today.
That is a very good question. lol To be fair its the teams that decide on the price. The top teams will stop at nothing to get the best players money can buy. It must be a pretty sweet gig honestly. lol Even tho their career isnt too long usually.
That makes sense. :) Mum and I went for a walk today and we made dinner. Now its just time to chill. :)

thanks :d I got this one the other day (and the one Niamh's wearing now as well :P) ;) At least she's feeling better - hopefully that continues :) squishes
I do wonder what made them pick the amounts in the first place, unless it was just a case of randomly bidding high in the hope they get the best player! (a bit like someone bidding at an auction, without a clue of how much the item is really worth :P)

sounds like another nice day :) We went to some stores for curbside pick ups. I'm tired and hurting.
i see another new ha today lol New dress as well? she is feeling better thankfully
That does sound draining. :) Its good that they do curbside pick-ups tho. :) Speaking of draining, its time to clean flat today. The joy. lol
I think its def. a case of bidding war of sorts for the most sought after players. :) I find the concept of selling players weird to begin with, as you are basically selling people. lol If their contract runs, they are free to go whereever they want tho.
