Healer's Hall is all but closed down for Winter. Weldon and I came down the mountain to the Big Valley to spend Holiday with my Author and his mate Francine. My daughter Aya and her mate Robin will act as administrators. Cousin Brenda is the next highest Healer in line and she will care for anyone who comes through the doors. Her mate, Master Fisher Bosco Wheezle can also fill in as cook while Mr. Lungwort is on Holiday with his mate Felicity (of all the years that I've known Mr. Lungwort, from the time I was a wee child until now, as Master Healer, I have never been able to find out his first name...I seriously think it just might be 'Mr.') spend time with their extended family, the river otters, on a cruise of the Kings River. Winter threatens to be record-breaking this year and Healer's Vale will become nearly impenetrable with snowdrifts.

Meanwhile, it is cold, wet and extremely foggy this evening down in Fresno. There are special weather warnings and advisories and the Highway Patrol has said that they will start pacing along the big roads up and down the State. My Author told me that when his granddaughter Olivia was born fifteen years ago, the fog was so thick that he couldn't see more than one lane reflector ahead of him the entire length of the Valley. It took him four hours, driving at 25 miles per hour to get from Grapevine to Fresno and they arrived home at 2:00 AM, exhausted from the tension of making the trip. (but very happy that they were new grandparents.

I don't really like fog. I like snow, but only so much. I really love summer. And so, I will bring in a little summer to brighten up your day if you are suffering from fog, rain, sleet or snow. Our last day of summer was at the end of October, and so I drew this picture in honor of that.

update on our Baronbaracuda from Baronbaracuda ..she has it rough but is holding up hope..she had her biopsy done (basically drilled through her buttocks into her pelvic bone)and will know in four days if what they found is benign or malignant..but they definitely did say she has Pagets disease lesions in her back spine pelvis and ribs. she IS alone at home and prefers it that way though i wish someone to be with her...someone unencumbering just THERE should she need anything.

after long hot showers she hops into bed that has a heating pad under the sheets and it helps her to relax enough to sleep. lets all hope n pray ...in your own ways ...hat her four day wait will give us some good news..God i hope so..

Gosh concerned Baronbaracuda doesnt have someone there to be with her, an take care of. God be with her, during her time waiting on answers.

I just went through a biopsy, I hit my mid thigh hard on a high foot board. Which caused a swollen mass. After ctscan, Mri, and ultrasound they didnt have a definite answer. So I had biopsy and I waited about 10 days, they figured out the mass was 3 hematomas together. So I was told, wait for 6 months to see if they go down and they will do an ultrasound to measure the hematomas. I had the possibility of surgery hanging over my head to, while waiting for biopsy results. Surgery may still be surgery in the future. I was just told this a week ago, the hematomas began in October, and didnt have answer until last week. Thankfully hematomas arent as painful as they were initially. I went through my son's wedding trying not to look like I was in pain, and ruin his special day. I told him, later and he wasnt happy with me.

Love your picture of the last days of summer. Makes me want to eat melons..honeydew, cantalope, watermelon.... We live about 4-1/2 miles from the ocean in Ventura County, California. It's been overcast & rainy off and on which is good for the crops and water table but my little dogs miss their sun bath. Several times our foothills have had snow on them. It's not even winter yet and, already, I miss summer, lol.

Sorry about the hematomas but I am glad no surgery was necessary now and hope none is needed in the future. Earlier this year, I ended up with a large hematoma from a trip and fall. My right leg was extremely discolored from my butt cheek to almost my ankle for several months. I had trouble sitting, standing up & walking for a while. The hematoma has finally dissolved but it seemed to take forever. Luckily, Tylenol relieved my pain to a tolerable level. Hug!

thankfully I didn’t get any bruising but sure was painful initially. Hopefully it won’t take past systems to start to dissolve or dissolve completely. Lucky the painful part is over. So 2 months and counting right now.

I went to the bedroom and it was dark. I walked right into it, the corner of the foot board is mid thigh high to me, it was a hard hit. Yep 3 all together next to each other. Initially pain was bad, I hobbled through younger son’s wedding. It was like 2 days after I hurt myself. No more walking in the dark in my home and my pittie/Bassett mix gets left in the hall. His got dark colors and his always leaving toys laying around.

i'm doing okay was in the ER earlier. apparently passed a kidney stone that caused me some pain bad enough to send me in. i'm so glad for you all here becasue most people tend to ignore me or make me feel bad for posting. i'm glad there are poeple who care about others..

now im heading off to take a nap bc im still coming off morphine.

once you become a bear we are ALL your friend..we dont judge people we are a close bunch of buddies!! aaaaaaaaaaaand you are one of them.

Shoot I can be watching tv, and go to sleep. So I am always doing something with my hands while I watch tv. But then hey I have been in mid click on laptop, and nod off.

I have a lot of nap later events, lately and just not a fan of going to sleep due to anxiety and my mind wont stop spinning. But I am better, I got a lot of answers involving health lately. So I am more at peace.

does it run a repeat thread..do you freak out while waiting in line somewhere?or fear phone calls..your brain? anxiety takes on many forms and is so extremely real some people dont know ..it IS a disability that cannot be seen and wont by just explaining it so i have stopped trying.

so are YOU ready for the christmastime? our light are outside and brightly shining the indoor looks like an awesome TV setting. my daughter is hosting a secret santa party and had made it like a christmas fairyland here i LOVENit ....AND i dont have to do it hahahhaha
