I just talked to someone in nebraska who's got 5 family members willing to bake / cook what they can for surrounding towns (small towns) in her church basement. The local mill found out.. donating all the flour, yeast, oats, honey and sugar they have if needed. Local donations of eggs, milk and of course top milk to make butter. Im helping her with making donation lists so she has a running tally and list for thank you's when this is over..

It's straight amazing what happens when people need help. I'm sitting here making masks listening to her panic with a smile on my face, she's more organized than i use to be before my rememberer decided to lay off some brain cells xD

I am going to be making masks for my 3 sons, 2 daughter in laws, myself and husband. Planning on multiples for each one especially for younger son and wife, because they are both working in a hospital. They will get more than the rest of the family. So they can wash them, and plenty of extras. I got your back, wink.

Wow amazing family in Nebraska!

...I mailed some masks to dear friends in Nebraska today. Now making for my family and co-workers. I have a little system going and it's going well...thinking I'll be embarrassed to admit but spontaneous tears happen while I'm making the masks...they seem to be turning out fine...but I've never made anything that wasn't.."fun" to make or use...or gift...this is something we need. So disturbing we need these things...I'll keep sewing...

edit...well dang yes now I'm embarrassed..so sorry to be negative...we just keep doing what we can...I'm just emotional today...

thats wesome the help that family is willing to give to her community!i here eveyone is saying hello to each other like every other morning on our walks but NOW there are so many more hahaha..tom=ns of doggies n kids with parents.it is a very nice walking neighborhood...but you would have no clue to whats behingd the big front doors..someone older in need perhaps?..==''it is good to go through a church like that lady you know..so they catch them all!!!

As all of you know I rarely ping our lair. Today i thought that i should inform you all of my dear RL sister Lena's death. My sister Lena loved all of you. She passed quietly yesterday April 6th 2020 after a real battle fighting cancer since last May. Her cancer was an aggressive cancer that runs in my family. We also lost a brother and niece last April 6th and May 16th. Lena was a wonderful sister and friend. She was loving, gentle, kind, generous, caring, thoughtful, compassionate. She allowed people to have their own ideas, beliefs and ideas without looking down on them and they could be themselves around her. Lena lived in Fla. and all her siblings live in Ca. With the covid 19 we could not be there with her. Thankfully her daughters, sweetheart and grandchildren were there with her. I am so thankful she was my sister. 7 years and 8 months ago as we were visiting Lena told me about a game she played and loved called Subeta. She said that she always wanted a RL sister to play the game with her. So that day she helped me set up my account and showed me how to navigate and get around, where things were ect. She said i should join the Lair bears because i could find real friends there and people there care. I believe i have found some real friendships here.... Lena had me adopt her favorite pet a month or so ago, Eneke is the pets name. It has been up for PetSpotlight a few times but never won. I was wondering if someone would take a look and tell me what to change, i would like Eneke to win for Lena...... Eneke is her closest sisters name, they grew up together very close. Lena was child 6 out of 10, Eneke child 7 out of 10, I am number 10 and there were 11 years between me and Lena. Thank you for all of your help with Lena's pet Eneke. But especially thank you for being my sister Lena's sister/ friend here on Subeta. She loved you dearly and so do I. Thank you all for reading this.
