Finally unlocked him!

I feel so bad for poor Scutey my not really a battle pet who now has 11 loses to Chase in order to get Mathis and whoever it was that needed all your pets (or at least the top 5) to have no hp. I have a feeling that Scutey is not going to want to ever be an actual battle pet given those first experiences in the Battle Coliseum. LOL

@ arixen Losses aren't that bad, I remember people on the yellow site really cared about them which bugged me, but what with plot bosses, steal-happy guys, and the Friday 13th bug from hell everybody ends up with plenty of losses :)

I also got Mathis on the 8th loss against ONE challenger (like 18 losses against several) with Fish Bones attached and Active Pet, which does not seem to be a requirement.

- oh I don't care much about losses - in fact I've been known to say if you have too few losses then you aren't trying to beat opponents who are difficult for your pets. I just feel bad about my little teeny T2 pet, who has never been used for battle, sitting in the Battle Coliseum facing the formidable and very scary Chase. :-) When I'm seriously battling, I have tons of losses and they don't bother me at all.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure active pet and which pet it is/how strong they are/which weapons you use shouldn't matter. You just need a qualifying minion attached to the pet you're battling with and lose a few times, and that should trigger it eventually.

made the mistake of using my main battler to lose to prodigy a bunch of times and then realized i could have used a T1 and saved a bunch of sP. oops. oh well at least Mathis is unlocked now

I need a war, I need to upgrade my core and I think my pet is finally strong enough to do so.

Any kind of boss battle would be great right now!

I'm using Ether and Paintbrush blades for CAPS Droid. Is there a better attacker?

I used maniacal essence and unstable syringe for the CAPS. I don't have any physical blockers

Yeah, I think it's the dark that's getting me. Perhaps Essence & Ether would be better for me (low/mid T11).

if someone is that worried about losses, do it in BQs lmao.
