Yeah, that just happened to me too, getting it on the first loss after changing the minion. Other people have lost a bunch of times with the minion attached and still nothing though, so I'm still confused.

: But some have gotten it after multiple times, without making any changes. It seems like there's a "chance" of getting it, and perhaps some people are just less lucky than others?

Is your loss count accurate? Maybe it's a cache issue?

My pet is said to have exactly 10 losses against prodigy when it was unlocked. not all of them where with minion though.

I just unlocked him. This is what I tried: Gave my pet Purist a Zombie Kitten Lost to Gunter 5 times (idk just thought it might work) Made Purist my active pet (forgot to do this) Lost to prodigy twice Lost to prodigy one more time but didn't use any weapons this time (they were auto enabled before)

and then he unlocked on the battle page

My loss count is not accurate at all. I don't know if it's a cache issue or it's just not counting losses correctly, but I lost a ton of times with Whorl but it only shows 9. Not sure what's going on there.

Also yeah, Whorl wasn't my active pet when I unlocked him so that part doesn't matter.

I have something like 15 losses and I didn't have the minion attached for all of them because I didn't think of that until later

I petition for another battle reset so we can get rid of all the unnecessary losses we had to rack up to unlock this opponent, LOL.

as far as i know there's no specific phobia for pet abuse? so this has me thinking it's one or two things, but they still don't make sense to me,,,,,,

individual challenger pages should be accurate, but there's a problem with pet-specific ones i guess. Battle statistics for a locked opponent i know widowmaker's stats page is completely wrong when it comes to losses (she's had over 150 losses to cinthilocks, and her page doesn't show any), i just haven't bothered with filing a ticket or making a problems and bugs topic or anything p;

Yeah, I think I've noticed with some of Carbonite's losses too, but I can't be bothered to file a ticket about it right now either.

And lol glad I'm not the only one who thinks the minion part of the solution makes no sense. I'm still not sure exactly which other minions might work either.

At least I updated the guide for now with his stats and the two minions we know for sure that work.

According to the challenger page, as opposed to the pet stats, Dreamt lost 3 times to Prodigy instead of the 2 shown on the pet stats.

yeah, i don't use the stats page so i just don't see the point in bugging bug or anyone else about it p;

Yeah, I was using the second one and I really thought that would probably work too, but I got over 20 losses with it, then switched to the other kitten and got it immediately. So that's why I'm really confused still about what the requirements are for the minion to work, but yeah at least we know two that will.

Wow. That is...a weird connection, to say the least. But I have him! Yay!
