I love my kitties. But sometimes can be a bit much. I can't think of life without a single on tho. Ive tried to have those thoughts of who I would let go and each one has a reason not to let them go. :( I sometimes think I have to many and that they would be happier if they were elsewhere tho. :(
I think its all gone and dark now There are a few lighter areas but still dark. HOWEVER I think that when the hair fades it will be red again. LOL
I don't usually have a coven, however I have had close friends over the years that practiced with me. I like the solitary practice. Quieter, more centered, at least for me.
I have worked with and without covens over the years, and I find there is benefit both ways. I train even my early students-dedicants and first degrees-in the mechanics and practice of large group ritual. That way if we need to do DC Pagan Pride or the National InterFaith Service I always have a group ready, but I don't have all the responsibility and restrictions of running a coven...

It is pinched together in sections with big binder clips, but you have to admit that it is not very elegant.

The floofy Marshmallow at vet. She went from zoom zoom to just sleeping. She seemed to pick up a little. They keeping her at vet over night to keep an eye on her fever. She tested negative for fiv and feline leukemia. They think she could have the virus that Nevada had a couple of months ago. Hate that the test for that takes a few days so they go ahead and treat for it just in case.

I followed you on IG. (You too, ...I got the PM on there.) Username is the same as here. XD I don't vary much. This is usually my name anywhere...unless I can't have something with such a long name then I end up with EarthSpirit. Provided it is not taken. So far if I need that name, I got it. Otherwise if you really go back with old accounts which I think other than an email account...I think all sites that I used evesmidnightcrow on are no longer around...although...is Mystick Wicks still around? I haven't been there in AGES! But I think that was my username there. Could be wrong...and my phone just totally crashed to the floor. Yay for otterbox cases! For it is safe.
I totally have a pinterest board! Technically two...the one is just crafty things to make. The other is also a part of because it is a private board because I can't have some family looking at that. (And now let's see how well I can type. Bug just got on my lap making it hard to type.) I had a BOS (multiple really) but I get sick of them easily because as soon as I mess up in it I hate it and can't get back into it at all. And I want it to be organized. Plus you couldn't move around stuff. Those are probably in the storage unit. I have kinda started a new one, Or at least bought the stuff for it and printed some things out for it. But it's using the Happy Planner system (classic size) by Mambi. So I can add and delete and organize with ease. Sad thing is, as much as I would prefer to hand write everything in it, I will probably have to end up just typing because writing that much will seriously kill my hand and wrist. (Broke wrist as child and had to have surgery and a pin in it to set it and keep it set...pin was taken out...but have had wrist and hand issues ever since.) Another reason I haven't worked on it much is because the majority of my books with info in them are also in the storage unit. "Soon" I should have access to them though. Soon meaning maybe by next year?
Typing makes so much more sense. Especially in a format where you can move and delete with ease! With the Parkinsons so bad in my hands it is now the only road open to me. When Gaia has her life back, I'm going to see if she can recommend something that will work for me. I'd especially like a hard copy and a digital copy so I can continue to expand it as I still do several large Wiccan ceremonies a year...
My intent is good, but it helps if it lays flat on the altar, especially if East gets a little lively. :)
Yeah, I can see how that can definitely be an issue. However...I'm one of those people that go overboard...I could totally see myself making something in Adobe InDesign for making a layout for the pages. I either do things halfassed or over the top. There's no in between. XD Which is probably why my co-worker totally tells me that I'm "extra" all the time because I do that.
Actually...a digital copy I could totally get behind...which is where Adobe Indesign would come in. That way and can make a book project and then just save it as a pdf file as well. I guess it's time to relearn InDesign at some point.....like I said...totally Extra here. XD
I like photoshop, but I fear InDesign and it's older relative pagemaker...growls softly they are simply not user friendly....
Pagemaker? I don't think I've ever used that. I mostly user Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and ON1 Photo Raw 2018. That last one basically being a photo editing software. I have used Adobe Dreamweaver in quite some time. Sometimes Adobe Bridge but I prefer the ON1 program for a similar thing. All the other Adobe things I don't know how to use. I have the CS6 Master Collection that I bought with financial aid for school plus student discount a while back. Glad I got it before all this cloud stuff where everything is subscription based now.
I don't think anyone has used pagemaker in a very long time, but it used to give me nightmares! :p
i am SORRY to go off topic everyone but I have to tell you about some magick work I did last night. I may be vague because part of my personal practice involves some secrecy, but it was INTENSELY good.
So I wanted to just do a luck spell because I have a big test today (as of this evening, I'll not only be a witch, but a BOARD CERTIFIED MUSIC THERAPIST, hopefully!) I, unfortunately, was having a lot of anxiety related to a family issue, so I was having a lot of trouble grounding. I had closed my door for secrecy but heard it wiggling and like someone was trying to get it. I open it, and there is Gimli, my lovely (but goofy) cat. He has never really been interested in magick.
BUT I got the urge to do some shadow work. As I'm working, Gimli seems to be moving about my circle. Unfortunately, Gimli is a goofball and manages to get his claws stuck while I'm working. For the most part, he was uncharacteristically chill, exploring my working area. He even presented me with a rubber band he had been hunting LOL! Almost like he was making an offering!
I would never have guessed Gim would be interested in magick. He's a really goofy boy. I told him he needed to work on being CHILL if he wanted to be a familiar, but he just looked at me. I figure an eclectic like me probably does need a goofball cat as my partner.
I'm pretty nervous about my test, but I'll let you guys know how it goes! Hope everyone is having a magical day~

, I watch the old Iron Chefs too. but i did watch the newest, and shocking, but the guy who was trying to be the "next iron chef" did NOT make it! i have to admit, i was really shocked.
heh. i also watch 'Beat Bobby Flay' and a bunch of other cooking shows. the man hates it. he says "no wonder you're always fixing weird food" :D :D i tell him, "it's only Weird to YOU"

Yes. We are firmly in Sinus Hell's Seventh Circle and to top it off like a disgusting cherry on top the cat is shedding. I feel like I spent the night doing lines of concrete. Time for heavy chemical warfare. And it is too hot in the high 80's. Time to work on quests and restocking. Nothing else getting done today!!!

but she's so old. heh. (we don't think she's EVER going to die! lol) but I just can't have her in the house any more. she hacks up food and goes to the bathroom all over the house. :(
I hate shes' out there. but at the same time, i go through the roof, every time she comes in and i let her stay.
i admit. i haven't gone outside for a while. (days) just a quick run, to water my plants and then i'm back in the house.
it's bad enough, just opening the door for the dog. heh
heh. The man has declared war on the yard day. He is cray. We just leave a sliding door open enough for the dog to get in and out on her own. So the man is raking, mowing, pruning, weeding, seeding, and going to war with the Virginia creeper. He didn't even buy any beer. Like I said, he is cray when it comes to the lawn.
Me? I'm in the house with a tall glass of iced tea with 3 fans on me, whacked outta my gourd on sinus meds playing Subeta and giggling occasionally...
Oh and man is going to grill dinner. My contribution was getting brussels sprouts on skewers marinating in balsamic reduction which is done.
I reallllllly want to do a bullet journal style BOS but havent found the motivation. I'm just not super talented at crafty-type things. I'm more into photography and online art forms. I'm very nature-oriented (geomatic empath, water/weather witch here!) so I'm happiest just collecting little trinkets instead of filling in a book. Heh. Many a year ago I had a lot of stuff on DeviantArt but I dont even know if my account is active anymore. Pinterest happened and became my best friend for organizing and keeping stuff online.
Awwwwwww kitty familiar! I have quite a few kitties that live in my house but none present to me as a familiar. Sadly, my daughter's kitten escaped the other night and hasn't made her way home. I'm probably going to have to resort to some spellwork in hopes I can call her back home.
Any recommendations for books on chaos magick? I tend to get lost in online bookstores and end up downloading WAY more than I can read. (Same for real life bookstores. I have STACKS of books from secondhand stores and library booksales!!)
