Just tossed a turkey breast into the oven and straightened up the apartment a little bit. Now I am just vegging in front of the comp and watching Emily play the Naruto to Boruto game I rented for her last night.

Just got home from taking the kitten and the dog to the vet to get their shots. From the way Zelda complained on the way there, you'd think he thought he was never returning home. He goes back next week to get neutered, so I know he'll complain on the way there again and probably when I pick him up later in the day. I always think about trying MM again, but then I remember what happened the last time I signed up. I went the whole day without receiving any gifts in return. It's a great idea, but I always felt like I ended up getting partnered with people who used it to get rid of junk. It's been 2 or 3 years since I last had a massage. My coworker and I got so stressed out at work last week, that on Friday we decided we would go get massages if the weather wasn't too terrible. And with Chris deployed, I've just been in a constant state of stress since he left. I probably undid all the lady's hard work last night when I carried all the tubs of Christmas decorations downstairs and decorated my tree. I'm used to putting the behemoth tree up by myself (it's 7.5 feet tall), because my mom usually had me do it when they had the tree. Chris helped me put it up last year, but every year prior I've put up the tree myself and decorated it myself....which is easier with a pre-lit tree. I'm tempted to get my flocked 6 foot tree from my parents and put it up upstairs. If I have upstairs decorated too, it might give me more reason to go up there. I will probably do most of my Christmas shopping online. I don't know what to get my parents, brother or sister-in-law this year. I should probably pick up a gift for myself incase I go to Chris's grandpa's Christmas get-together. They play a game where everyone brings a gift for themselves in a brown paper sack. Everyone sits in a circle and the sacks go in the middle and everyone picks a sack, one by one to open. Each person shows the item and we have to guess who brought the item. The person with the most correct guesses wins money. Apparently I won the first year I went, but I don't remember ever doing well at that game. Now I need to figure out what to do for supper. I could finish off the last two slices of pizza I have, but then that means I have to drink Mt. Dew with it (so I don't anger my stomach with too much dairy), or I could do a grilled cheese sandwich (and try not to burn it like the last one), or make a honey glazed chicken and rice meal. Decisions, decisions.

MM is such a bust eyeroll i send over a small thing with a greeting, send one or two smallish amounts through the random monetary and be done for the day, all i get is either nothing or trash. Ugh.

Didn't get my sandwich :( got distracted trying to find a meat thermometer (never found one). Just settled for having dinner. sigh Not as much fun!

Awe poor fur babies :( Same! I don't care if it is a cheap item, but it would be nice if it was Lumi related in some way. Not just something random! What little shopping I have done has been online. It is just a lot easier and I don't have to worry about Emily seeing what I am getting her lol. I am almost completely done with my subeta shopping/gifting and I just NOW remembered about the notes on the trees! If I missed any notes that asked for certain things or had messages I am sorry that I missed them :(

My dog was happy to be there until they got her up on the table to draw blood for her heartworm test, but once she was back on the floor she was happy. She even wanted some of the dewormer that Zelda got. Maybe I'll try MM out again this year, but it would be nice if there was a way to report those who don't participate or send junk. I always sent plushies/beanbags that were over 10K and some minions. I bought some things from Loot Vault at the tail end of their cyber Monday sale so some of the stuff I wanted was gone. I need to just spend a day looking at things on Amazon to find some gifts for others, it's just not easy to figure out what people would want. My husband doesn't even want anything sent to him for Christmas, which in a way I can understand because he has to pack it up and either ship it home or take it with him when he returns. The game we play at his grandpa's Christmas is interesting, but this will be out 3rd or 4th year playing the game, so we've all learned what everyone else brings and now we just try to trick everyone. Last year I just put the hexi project I'm working on in the bag because I knew people would think my mother-in-law brought it. I decided on chicken and rice. My mom gave me half a bag of cheese-it breaded chicken, so I'm trying that out. I'll finish off the pizza tomorrow for lunch. I need to work on a grocery list, not that I need much but it would be nice to have a variety of food in the fridge.

I missed some of the better sales, and a lot of the stuff I wanted to get her are now "unavailable online" ugh so annoying. Let me know how you like the chicken. I was kinda iffy about trying cheezit chicken! I need to go shopping too. I might venture out tonight. The weather is starting to look a little bad and I don't want to get stuck at home with no food!

I need to do some christmas shopping. I also need to do my subeta quests. Haha, I have been meaning to do those. But right now I am just participating in Lumi and chatting. I love chatting on here. Everyone has been so nice.

I just spent all of my sp so I really should do some quests and stuff lol. Yeah I love chatting on the Shark boards :D
