I start planning around November. I try to quest Saggitarius every day. So I can leave a few things of varying price ranges under peoples' trees. In RL I have not started shopping yet and I need to get on that. Today and tomorrow are devoted to stockings and then I will hit the ground running for gifts.

I still miss get actual Thanksgiving items. I have a whole section in my gallery for it, but now there is never anything new to add. I might just toss all of those items into the Fireside section. Awe sorry to hear that Hun hugs I hope it gets better soon! At least it doesn't hurt all the time.
Yeah this is the time of year for all of us to go broke lol. Dang I didn't think about that. I guess it makes sense since no one would be there to sanatize them between each use. It is amazing how many things we took for granted that are now gone. Oh those chairs make everything better lol.

That was very sweet of her to do that for you :) glad you have someone who can actually help! With the old owners we had the creepy BIL. Now it is just creepy random strangers! The half way is where the closet it. I know it is supposed to be for coats and stuff, but it is just crammed full of stuff being stored.

I swear they are just dust magnets and then the dust just grows on it! It would be worth it though if they are still built to last for years (if not decades)!
Do you think you are going to do a theme or just use neutral tones so you can change the overall look more easily? What I mean is having a neutral main color that way you can theme the towels and stuff whenever you want. I only really change the bathroom for Christmas and bring out the santa/reindeer towels and stuff.
It was convenient when we had a house, but living the apartment it is up to the owners to deal with (or ignore as usual!). Glad to hear you are staying dry. People like him are annoying. I guess give you some needed info was too much for him!
It is getting cold and windy here. When it was a little warm we had some weird looking flys outside. I had to hurry up and rush inside because I was paranoid that they would get in. They were huge!
Oh I know, and sometimes it is white font on a white background. Who is supposed to read that ?!? Yeah there is deff no room for a coffee table. If I put a recliner there and reclined back no one would be able to get around it :(
Our gov didn't give anyone an option. She is up for Time woman of the year or some such nonsense because she had us in such a strangle hold. Gee thanks! I mean for a while there we weren't even allowed to buy seeds!! Going out to a bar is one thing, but not being able to garden in your own backyard? That is just crazy! What made me mad was the people who don't get it saying "oh it is too cold to plant anyone stupid!" Well if they were smart they would know that most backyard gardners know to start their seeds inside before planting them outside to get a head start on growing since we have such a short growing season.
Thankfully Emily's teachers were kind enough to overlook her not being in the class every morning because she always did the work and kept an A average. Really early mornings are just not something either one us are good at. It is nice to be able to schedule things for later in the day. I can understand not wanting to walk around at night. It would feel to spooky to me.
The cooking class was deff my favorite one. Scrambled eggs and bacon? Wow they could not have picked anything easier to teach you unless it was how to make a bowl of cereal and toast lol. I don't think she was kidnapped. I am guessing she got burnt out working two teaching jobs, and the drinking didn't help. You gotta remember that I am OLD lmao. I graduated in 1990! I doubt there would be anything about her online, plus her last name was Brown. I don't think I would be able to find out anything.
Probably. I should ask Emily if she can smell anything on it. I wonder if I could get a nice spray to put on it. I learned my lesson! Now I just keep it in the fridge so it is just cold and not totally frozen.
I know and I still call him that! Of course my daughter has to correct me every time. I am not surprised by that at all. These things tend to come in waves. Star Wars was not that popular outside of its diehard core fans until they rebooted it, and then it was everywhere!! I have storage boxes full of Emily's plushies! Wow $100 is a lot.

OMG I forgot all about Duck Hunt! My BIL used to play that game all the time. They also didn't require being connected to the internet! Just put the dang game in and play!
I hate when they don't give us all the info we need up front. I want to be an informed buyer. Especially for that price! Sounds like a huge cash grab to bleed us dry. It is deff not a good time for that!!
I am still avoiding walmart. I haven't been there in months. They always seem so crowded. Not willing to deal with that many people in one place. I really don't want anything I buy to be smooshed or dented lol. Those poor workers are probably under such strict time restrictions. I am sure people will pitch a fit if they get there and their stuff is not ready!
Yeah that is way too long to have to wait. Hopefully he isn't trying to wait you out and hope that you forget.

When I was zapping a pet I hated getting a gross one! I usually be stuck with it for quite a while.

Congrats! I didn't get the last tier of the Charity ach. this year, just got too busy in RL, but there's always next year. I also wasn't prepared for another tier to be added, so I didn't have a stockpile of food in my vault. We got the dining room tidied up and moved my grandma's buffet cabinet in along with one of her dining room tables. Just need to wipe everything down and refinish the top of the buffet at some point. We also got floating shelves up in the office. Now the pop figures have a home!
I guess they haven't really released any true Thanksgiving items in a while. The last one I remember was a turkey. My heel feels much better! I'm guessing the tendon got aggravated and just needed time to recoup.
I did go broke once Christmas shopping. I miscalculated how much I'd already spent, it was rather embarrassing. I can't see the mall in my area hiring a janitor to stand near the massage chairs to sanitize them after each use. I barely ever see any janitors there anymore, there used to always be two or three in the food court. I bet they do...now I want a massage, dangit!
Yeah, if you use USPS's online change of address form, you have to pay $1.05, I think, then you have to input a billing address that has to match with the one registered to the debit or credit card. I have to update my driver's license to the one with the star in the corner, I think they call in Real ID. Which means I need two pieces of mail to confirm my address, my Social Security card, and my birth certificate with me when I update it. It's a huge pain!
It was nice of my mom to come help, but I'm getting a bit annoyed that my parents keep trying to dictate what we do with our house. They drop snide comments about us still not using the garage for vehicles and I'm just getting tired of it. I've used a coat closet as a storage closet before. Had to be very careful pulling anything out, otherwise, everything else might come with it.
I didn't know ink could do that either, until one day when my printer would print anything, just shot out blank pages. I had to go into the settings and initiate a deep clean, then it finally started printing again.
Some of the stuff I put out to decorate a room have so many little crevices, that there's always dust left behind. We plan on removing most of the carpet in this house and replacing it with vinyl flooring, so Chris really would question spending a lot of money on a vacuum. He already isn't sure we should get a small steam cleaner.
We plan on painting most rooms in the house grey, some rooms a lighter grey, some a darker grey. I haven't decided what shade of grey I want in the bathroom yet. I've got Christmas and Halloween towels for the kitchen, never thought about using them in the bathroom too.
I'm glad the roof is no longer leaking, it would have been a pain to move furniture away from that spot. You'd think that since we are 'new' in town, we'd be informed about when the bill is mailed, but no, I'm left stressing out all month because a bill hasn't shown up and no one will answer the phone at city hall.
It's gotten colder here too, but there are still a few days it gets warmer than normal. Ugh...I hate huge flies, those are typically the ones that try to bite you and they hurt. I also don't like the flies that look like mosquitos.
I want to know who is making the font size and color choices for video games because most of them are doing a poor job. I shouldn't have to stand 2 feet away from the tv to read things. We have room for a coffee table, but it would just become cluttered and we wouldn't have anywhere to rest our feet. That's my concern with my recliner and where it currently sits. If it's reclined, it will be difficult for someone to walk past to or from the front door, but if I scoot it further in, then it's in the way of the couch.
Geesh. That's just pushing more business to Amazon and other online retailers instead of local shops. I don't garden, but I know that people start the seedlings out inside and then plant them outside. I think a lot of people in political positions have forgotten or just never knew how 'normal' people do things and live life day to day. But then again, I think they like to instill fear into people so they can control them a little easier. People here are hoarding toilet paper and hand soap again.
I have spurts where I'm a morning person, but most of the time I like my sleep. It doesn't help that I have a hard time falling asleep at night. It was spooky walking across campus at night and a little scary too because there were people that got jumped by random people.
Yeah, that Home Ec teacher didn't really focus on the Home Ec side. She spent more time teaching us how to figure out our goals and plan them out. There was never anything about creating a budget or learning basic sewing skills. That's quite possible and in those days it would have been easier to just disappear and go somewhere else. I was born in 1992, but I still wouldn't say you're old. Hmmm, with a common last name, anyone wanting to find information would have to look through newspapers just to find a full name. And who knows if she changed her name after she left.
Bath and Body Works used to sell sleep sprays and I think they had one in lavender. They're supposed to be sprayed on a pillow, but I'd think it would be fine to spray on the side of a face mask that doesn't touch skin. I haven't looked for them lately but they might have them online.
I'm sure if I called Forky Sporky in front of one of my friends, she'd correct me real fast. She got a pop figure Forky for her classroom even though she thinks the character is annoying. There are Baby Yoda versions of popular games now too, Monopoly, Operation, Trouble, etc. Ok, I may have more than a few storage totes full of plushies. I know I've two or three that are filled with Beanie Babies, a couple of totes at the house, and at least two large trash bags full of plushies in my parent's storage box. I need to go through them, but I know I'll have a hard time parting with any of them. Yeah, I wouldn't be able to convince myself to spend $100 on the set. Heck, I couldn't even convince myself to spend $50-ish on 8 seasons of House at a thrift store.
I had another idea. I'm leaning towards embroidering on canvas and I had the thought to paint the background first, then hand embroider in Mando and the child (or whoever I end up picking). Since I'm making it for Chris, I probably shouldn't focus on just Baby Yoda (though they've revealed his real name this season on Mandalorian).
I played Duck Hunt and Mario Bros all the time. It sucked that there wasn't a save option, but I got pretty good at the first few levels and had them almost memorized. It was so nice to be able to just put a game in a play, now we have to wait for updates.
The storage space on the new systems is the main reason why I'm waiting to buy one. I'll wait until version two of the system is released, hopefully with more storage space and in a different color.
All the Clicklist employees I've seen, seem to be taking their time. There was one who couldn't get through a crowded aisle and they just stood there and waited until it emptied out. I'm sure there's a set amount of time they have to find all the items, but some of them seem to use it as a way to avoid stocking shelves.
Chris asked about the book. There is no one in the state that can repair it but they found one in Illinois (or Indiana, can't remember which) that could maybe repair the book. So they've had it for two months and just now found someone who could maybe repair it.....At this point, I may just never see the book again.
Yeah...I don't think that dentist should be in business anymore. And Chris tried shrugging it off, claiming it couldn't be infected since he was already taking penicillin the day after the teeth were removed.
I've got pie in my fridge that I need to eat and now I've got leftover cheesecake. I hate cleaning out the fridge when I know there's moldy food in there.
The cats all got baths on Thanksgiving. Indy hated it, Jones tolerated it, and Smokey shoved his head under the water himself. And we also got the fenced finished and the dogs moved last week. So far they love having more space and they haven't barked a whole lot.
I splurged and spend the 400k to get a different zapper pet. I was tired of looking at the purple alien. Now I'm stuck with a Nightmare Mortiking.

i havent been playing for a long time though. just recently returned. things look a lot calmer these days generally on site.
They've gotten much better. The Subeta team is working on a version 2 of the site (basically a big upgrade to the coding and stuff). They are really trying hard to keep this site going smoothly as possible.
